I tried a second time with these in a M instead of W but they still seemed like an unconvincing fit. I just think the design is weak. I sent them back. Also, the blue was quite a bit darker than it appeared in the photos.

Love these shoes for many reasons: lovely leather, well constructed, dreamy insole. Unfortunately I am returning them as they gape on the sides of my feet and I am concerned that would just get worse if they stretch out more with wear.

I ordered a wide based on my prior experience with Trotters, but these looked too wide - I am thinking about trying the regular width. But I wanted more of a gracefully long and pointed look (I am a size 12, so I can't believe I just said that...) and I didn't get that from these shoes. Not enough of a loafer, and not enough of a regular pointed flat. I returned them.

Loved the shoe but found it ran a little short maybe because of the pointed toe.

Comfortable foot bed. Rubbed my heel a little on the first wear.

Beautiful shoe, but because of pointed toe and stiff material, normal size is too tight across the toes.

I really like these!! They are super cute on and surprisingly REALLY comfortable. There is a nice bit of padding in the insole, much more than you often see in these kinds of shoes. The leather is really soft and comfortable, I only just got them but I'm betting you could wear them a long time with no blisters. I just ordered a second pair! Personally I feel they run a little large, I'm usually between a 10 and 11 so I ordered a 10.5 and they fit just a smidge too big. Not enough to send them back, though. Highly recommended, if you're like me and can't wear heels, these are a great option for work. They look very sophisticated and high quality, so I'm very happy with the value for the price.

Disappointingly, these shoes run very small. I wish I could just exchange them for two sizes larger, but because I wear a 12 I have no option but to return them. Too bad, they're really cute!

As I stated in the last review. They are great if not for standing on my feet for 8 hours, then they feel like they are on fire. I really like them, just not for work.

While these fit perfectly, and I have received compliments on the look... after being in them and standing for 8 hours a day, they are extremely uncomfortable. My heels feel on fire and I need to soak them to try to alleviate pain.

This felt tight in the toe box compared to other pointed toe flats I have from Trotters. Loved the look, and everywhere else fit like as expected for wide width.

I have a hard to fit foot ... when I first put these on, they were comfortable, but as the day wore on I got blisters. It is a beautiful shoe and I wish they would have fit me better.

Liked the shoes a lot but they gaped in the middle. I ordered them medium width which is usually fine for me but I didn't like how they gaped open when I walked. I would try ordering a narrow but I think the toe box will then be too small. Otherwise a nice shoe.

This shoe is a nice style and the fit felt correct, but the pointy toe left my own toes feeling a bit too cramped. I was a bit disappointed at how my shoes arrived. I ordered two pair of shoes, and the Trotters arrived inside the Zappos box without a lid to the shoe box, and the shoes have many marks on them that look like scuffs. I will be returning them.

I am so bummed that I can't get these shoes to fit! They are super cute, great color, wonderful material and style! But the 8 is very tight and the 8.5 is VERY large. Sadly, I have to return both sizes and move on.

Fit was great. Look was great. HOWEVER, they squeaked like old wood floors when I walked, so back they went. Very disappointed as they were perfect style and color.

I was surprised when I received these because the color and material didn't look like what I ordered. I ordered a checked black/gray pattern that is not even listed as an available color option anymore. I was hoping it would be cloth kind of like those Rothy shoes I see ads for all over instagram and facebook, and that's what the pictures online looked like, but instead they were this shiny plastic material. The material makes them look really cheap. My friends agree -- they said they looked like $20 Payless shoes but I paid $100....so that's a bummer. They're wide enough, but after a day of being moderately active at work, they were pinching my toes big time. I didn't get blisters or anything, but definitely didn't want to wear them again the next day (needed a day or two to recover!) I'm sure I'll break them in and they'll be better but I was expecting more from a known brand that was so expensive!

The fit was true to size and very comfortable. The sides gap when walking, and out of the box they look worn. I anticipate they will look very shabby after only wearing a few times. Hence they are going back.

Purchased the same shoe in Nude that fit perfectly, but the Black Soft Lizard Embossed Patent Suede was about 1/2 size too small. So disappointing.

It was fine for style, but it didn't match my feet. I am going to rebuy 1/2 size larger and wider.

They are in my closet after wearing them many, many times, but here's the deal: they looked ratty after just a few wearings. The black comes off. Seriously? These are expensive shoes -- and not my first pair of Trotters with which I had the same experience -- the black comes off. So, if you don't mind paying a ton of money for go-anywhere shoes that are extremely comfy but going to look bad within a few wearings, these are a good choice.

The problem for me is that the sides gapped. I have wide feet at the toe box and as these shoes were wide all over -- perhaps excessively so at the sides, they weren't right for me.

I loved the look of the black lizard shoe. I take a 12W. Unfortunately it has a very pointed toe that makes it look stylish and my middle toe is too long to fit comfortably in the shoe. Going up a half size is not possible. Too bad :(

These shoes are so narrow. I’m well aware that I don’t have narrow feet but I can wear non-wide specific shoes. I could barely get my feet in these!
