This flat is very cute and stylish. I have other trotters and they are comfy. Unfortunately, this pair needed for you to be broken in. But once it was broken in- it felt like a glove.

I am a size 8 and this shoe runs true to size. The first pair I received were defective, the leather was crumpled inside and I exchanged them for another pair. Zappos customer service is fantastic and I received the new pair two days later. The leather is very soft and the color, the navy shiny alligator print, was beautiful. I really wanted to like this shoe and I need an everyday flat to wear with jeans and pants, but the style was too frumpy for me and just didn't work on my foot. So I returned them.

The first pair that I bought were too wide...as many reviewers mentioned. I swapped that pair for a Narrow width, and they fit perfectly. Very nice and comfortable 'casual walking' shoe.

I really like the material - outside is sort of like a soft suede. Maybe pointy toed shoes just run differently, but these didn't fit.

I first purchased the black suede shoes in a 10N, but when I wore them inside for awhile, I found they were just too narrow for my foot and the back heel was extremely uncomfortable; it was very stiff and hurt the tops of my ankle in the back. So, I quickly returned them. However, I liked the style of the shoe so much that i tried the 10M in the shiny black material -- sort of an alligator look. They fit beautifully and the back of the heel was more pliable. However, they did run just a tough wide as there's a small gap when I walk. However, I can deal with that. Since there's little arch support, I will place a small gel support remedy in there, and that will also likely close the gap a bit. Overall, I love this shoe and will be great for the holidays with jeans and black leggings/slacks. I contacted Customer Service for this problem, and I was WOW'ed by their friendliness and support. Incredible! The only other store that does this much for you is Nordstroms.

Loved rich cognac color and the cut of the shoe. However, they gapped at the sides when I walked--seemed more noticeable with the right shoe, but both did to an extent. The front point did not seem overly compressed to me.

The show itself was ok, very pointed toe. Trotters packed them in too small of a box and the toes, heels and sides of the shoes rubbed against the box and wore off. I ordered the black soft lizard-patent style.

This shoe is more pointy than I had expected and that is why it isn't a 5 star review. The shoe has a nice cushion to it when you walk it in. The color is beautiful and I know with time the show will wear in nicely. Overall I felt it was a true to fit sizing and comfortable.

These are nice looking shoes. The sizing isn't perfect since my right heel slips a bit. I never know if any observations I make about shoes could be colored by my two fussy feet. Almost every malady possible has staked a claim. So when I find a WW width that doesn't look matronly, I am thrilled!

I ordered these in the wide width as another pair of Trotters that I ordered were a bit snug in the toe box (note I have bunions so I took them to the cobbler and they are fine now). Unfortunately this style in wide was just way to wide with no way to make them work. The color and style are lovely but overall quality wasn’t quite as good as another style I ordered from the same brand. Love the style and wish they worked, perhaps the regular width would with help from the cobbler.

I so love the style of this shoe. I have ordered it twice. The first time I ordered it in a Size 8. My toes hit the top of the shoe and it was uncomfortable. I like the style of the shoe so much that I ordered it in an 8 1/2. It was far too big. I bought insoles thinking that would take up some of the width but sadly, it was still too wide. I am returning this shoe with regret and wish that Trotters had made this shoe with a true Medium width.

Really tacky looking. This shoe is not soft taupe lizard it is micro suede with plastic overlay. Not my style. Also it is very pointed. Tapers rapidly and pinches my little toes.

I love the look of the shoe but I needed a more rounded toe box than this shoe. I chose to return them.

I ordered the pink leather, a departure from my usual basic black and conservative colors of shoes. At this price, I thought I'd take a chance, plus I had tried Trotters shoes in the past and was surprised at how comfortable they felt. The inside of these shoes have a bit of pillowy puff to them, so they feel pretty good going on. I was worried they would look like slippers, but they are pretty cute looking. One thing I noticed right away is that when I walk in these, there's a kind of odd whoopie cushion thing that happens with the air moving into and out of the shoe. The front/top of the shoe is where I am feeling the farting. It's not terribly loud, but I think it might drive me mad if I had to notice the sound and feeling on my feet with every step. I'm not very tolerant of normal flip flop sounds or that lazy shoe shuffling sound that some folks do either, so your tolerance may be higher than mine for this. I can be a bit neurotic about things like this. If you're like me, though, try a different design. Another problem I have with these, unfortunately, is the back of the shoe seems to irritate the back of my foot, even after just having them on for a few minutes to see how they feel on the carpet. I'm not sure if they're just still stiff or if the height is hitting a certain, weird spot on my particular feet, but with all the trouble I have had with shoes in the past, I know cannot take the risk. Sorry, pinkies, but you will be going back to find a different owner.

This is a beautiful shoe but felt a half size too small and narrow even in the ww size I ordered. The leather is like silk and it looks far more expensive than it is. I am reordering a half size bigger in the hope it fits.

Beautiful, classic, stylish flat. Unfortunately for me, the pointy toe presses on my bunions a bit too much, understandable in a shoe of this style. I also tried the size 8 wides, but same thing. I thought I'd give the pointy style a try, but I just can't wear them. Sad because these shoes are really cute!

The floral print was beautiful in person, but I could barely get these on my feet.

I ordered and received the floral multi print of this shoe. In the photo, it looks white with a muted floral print. When I received them, they are much darker than the photo, almost blue. Sadly, I had to return them.

It's definitely cute, but doesn't size up (out) well. I think that pointy-toed styles are hard to pull off in wide-width shoes generally, and this one definitely falls into that category. Because the center 'tongue' doesn't expand along with the rest of the shoe width, the proportions are off when you get a wide size, and it looks ungainly and lopsided. (I'm returning a EE, but I think it'd likely be a problem with the E width as well.) Overall, though, it's definitely a well-made, cute shoe. I just wish that they'd kept the overall styling of the shoe intact as they expanded the width.

Love these shoes, but they photographed much lighter than they are. They're a dark navy.

Toe is a little pointy for my feet. Ordered my size and think 1/2 size up might have worked but far too tight. Will consider reordering.

These were a full size too long. I don't like the looks of this pair well enough to try a different size.

These are elegant shoes, but seem to run quite small. I am re-ordering in a half size larger and hope that will be enough. It is hard to find an elegant pointed toe flat these days because the rounded toe "ballerina" style is all the rage (not for me though.) These are very lovely and once I get the right fit, I know that will be very comfortable. Extremely good construction and quality.
