I purchased these shoes for winter hiking. I typically wear a size 8 but that changes depending on the brand. The size 8 I ordered fits perfectly. I wore them for a rainy day walk and as advertised, they are water proof! I am very happy with my purchase and have already recommended these Keens to friends.

I wore these camping and hiking last weekend. I was quite pleased that they didnt seem to need a lot of breaking in. I purposely bought a half size bigger than Keen recommended for me, because I wanted to have room for thick sox and orthotics. I think my choice was good, though they are definitely roomy. I dont really like the rose color, but those were the ones on sale, and I will get used to it. Easy to find in the closet! I have a very old and worn pair of Keens with the weird-shaped toe that they no longer make. I loved that comfortable toe, but these are almost as comfortable. (I am still wearing the old ones, however!}

Got these for my wife as a Christmas gift. Read quite a few reviews that said these run rather big, so I ordered a pair in her true size (7. 5) and another pair (7. 0) just in case those reviews were accurate. She said the 7. 5's fit perfect, so for her, they run true to size. She absolutely loves them and they look great.

You dont need to break in the shoes like my other hiking boots, its roomy in the toes area and good support.

Great comfort out of the box. Hope they last a very long time.

These are very well made. Very comfortable from the start. I found that for me they run about 1/2 size larger but that is fine because I like to wear thicker socks.

I purchased these for a hiking vacation and they worked great! Very comfortable, waterproof and durable. They held up well. I liked them so much that I bought another pair while they were on sale.

Hiked 12 miles and were comfortable the whole trip. Didnt have and streams so dont know how waterproof they are. Love them

Since I broke My ankle i've been having a lot of difficulties walking. The hokas I was wearing were actually making my feet worse. But since i've been wearing these shoes my feet have been much better. Less pain everywhere. Im extremely happy with this purchase!

First of all, these shoes are not just the lower cut boots. I usually wear a size 7 in the boots but had to order a size 6.5 in these shoes. The shoes dont have the little hooks which keep the laces taut and they loosen up as you are walking. I have narrow ankles, so unless I put on really thick socks my ankles slide up and down in the shoe. Never had that problem with the boots. The insoles are not very padded and are very thin. I had to replace the insoles. These shoes feel better than the Merrills I ordered. I like the big toe box and they are more substantial than the Merrill hikers I bought. I dont feel like Im walking on concrete. I hope these dont delaminate after a year like my last two pairs of boots did. If so, these will be the last I buy. I am a 64 yr old woman, I walk at least 3 miles a day, and hike regularly. Your mileage and feet may vary!

I wear a 9.5 and read that these run big, so I ordered a 9, which are loose fitting. However, not so loose that I would size down more. So, size down by 1/2 -1 full size. Overalls and excellent shoe. Love the support. Not too heavy. I'm enjoying the more feminine colors!! Thanks Keen. I'm not a dude!

Tried out my new boots on a day hike on the AT today. They were incredibly comfortable, just enough flexibility in the sole to be perfect on the trail. And I never felt the rocks under my feet!

I've bought several pairs of shoes from Keen over the past 30 years and always liked the generous toe box, which seems to be a thing of the past. Most recently I bought 3 pair in my regular size. One is a little on the small side with a narrow toe box, but comfortable enough for a shorter walk. Another was way too big and the waterproofing failed so I sent them back. Now, regarding this latest shoe....I did go down a half size because I read that they run large and I recommend that. I bought the sale shoe and missed the teensy print saying these are a wide. I was surprised when I pulled out a shoe that looked like one of those orthopedic models. But I tried them anyway and they're comfortable and supportive enough. The width gives me that beloved roomy toe box. I walk every morning in wet grass and so far my feet are dry. When I can return to my wooly socks in the fall they should be even better. But I long for the old Keens that are "just right".

To be up front with this review I received these shoes as a warranty replacement for a previous pair that had a defect. That being said, it was obvious these shoes had been previously worn by someone. Not a lot and they had been cleaned but there was clear wear on the bottoms of the shoes which was very disappointing. Keen doesnt make it easy to return/replace a pair of shoes that were bought using a warranty voucher and I would have to pay for return shipping so I am likely going to keep my previously worn pair of shoes.

The soles have come unglued from 4 of my other Targhees, so I am curious to see how the redesign holds up.

Wore these for the first time digging for crystals in Montana. The surfaces were steep and slick with loose rock. No slipping! I wore them all day and they were comfortable.

I love them. I got them for my hunting trip in September!

Keen shoes have kept me making happy tracks wherever I go for more than five years now!!! I have foot problems but wearing the Keen shoe makes my foot problems non-existent as long as I continue to wear them; with or without the orthotics .After trying all other brands I remain a loyal friend of the Keen brand!!! I love everything that Keen stands for ~ I also receive compliments and do not hesitate to praise and recommend the Keen Love!
