I think these shoes have had the least painful breaking time of any shoe I've worn for work. My only problem is that even though it recommended me to get a size 10 because I wear a size 10 in brooks, the shoe seems to be 1/2 a size too big (I do have flat narrow slim feet). With my inserts it's not as bad but my foot still moves around in the shoe a bit. Traction is great, so far water proof has been great. I really hope that the soles don't dissolve like they said they won't. All other water proof shoes end up dissolving the glue and cracking.

I like the design, color, and materials used. The fit is larger than usual. The arch support seems to be less than previous models. I have been wearing them around for a couple of weeks thanks to KEENs policy. I tried several pairs of socks and tighter lacing. I have decided to keep them, but I hope they arent too loose for hiking.

I got these for daily wear as I wanted something waterproof and versatile that could be worn to work, errands, etc. and also be good for light walking and hiking. These are truly perfect for that and were pretty much a fit right out of the box. The toe area is wide enough and I sized up a half size (as I usually do with Keen hikers) and am able to wear special insoles with them no problem. Although I selected true to size for the sizing it seems like it may not be necessary to size up unless you have insoles or will be wearing thick socks. Overall I am very happy with them and have been wearing them almost daily since purchased. A very stable shoe.

Ive been wearing the Targee hiking boot, sz 9 for years, and love them! This pair runs very large, and looked like plastic. Returned and not interested in trying smaller sizes.
