Love the new superblast2. My go to for weekend tempo long runs and threshold runs

Absolutely loved Superblast V1, but V2 has upgrades in every department compared to the V1. My biggest problems with V1 were the upper (lack of breathability) and outsole (not enough traction). V2 fixes both of these issues, and I'd say the midsole is a subtle nice improvement compared to V1. I still love first pair of Superblasts which are currently over 400 miles, but I will keep both V1&2 in my rotation until the wheels fall off!

Everything you loved about the Superblast with a far superior upper. Great shoe.

Tip of the mid toes rub again toe box; I went for a size up and then the shoes is too loose. ASICS, could you reshape it as Novablast 4s toe box? Current SuperBlast 2 toe box is too pointy. I am not enjoying leaving this review because these shoes are nearly perfect, so.. ASICS please take this as a constructive, or opportunity for model 3.

I love the Superblast so much! I ran in the original model and really like the updates to the Superblast 2. The feel of the midsole foam suits my running style exceptionally well. The fit of the shoe is pretty good. The tackier outsole is also appreciated. Overall great shoe and I am happy I was able to find a pair in my size!

Perfect for long runs, progressive long runs, tempos and lactate threshold workouts. On my big long runs (21mi) my legs (and particularly my knees) feel sooooo much better when I run in my superblasts than my other shoes. I don't have to spend the rest of the day gingerly stepping around. The foam has a nice pop, and its surprisingly light, so it really comes alive when transitioning to faster ~marathon pace in the second half of the long runs. The fit was good for me in a size 10, together with a runners knot to keep my heel locked in (my toes would have been swimming in the next size up). I wear a size 10 in Novablast 4, and a 10.5 in the Nike Pegasus.

Bought the Paris colorway - they're fantastic, so I grabbed these immediately. I travel a lot for work, so it is great to be able to pack one shoe that does it all.

The shoes exceptional. Not much else to say other than it would be best if it were better purchase option available. Glad I was able to secure a pair.

These shoes are incredible straight out of the box! They provide ample cushion, but excellent energy return too. I recently wore them for a 17 mile run and they were perfect. I anticipate them lasting for a few hundred miles and will make them my go-to long run shoe.

Great fit and comfort, especially on long runs or tempo runs. The shoe feel the same on mile 20 as they felt on mile 1. Exactly what I needed.

Sized up 1/2. Very comfortable upper, awesome ride. Bouncier than mushy, can go fast but eats miles.

All around amazing shoe. Im 6 ft and about 200 lbs and these shoes help my feet and knees stay healthy, fast and light

First of, believe the hype! This is my first pair of ASICS and I absolutely love them. For my last marathon build, I ran all my long runs in the NB SuperComp trainer v2. But I wasn't impressed by the new version 3. A friend recommended the SuperBlast for my next marathon training block. I secured a pair at my local running store when they released. They run true to size as I'm a 9 in everyday shoes and I run in 9.5. Without even breaking them in, I took them out on a 16 mile long run workout. These felt great for both easy efforts and MP miles. As someone who runs often on fatigued legs, the SB feels energizing with each stride. $200 ain't cheap, but this shoe truly is worth the price tag in my opinion. If you want a cushioned and responsive shoe that can handle long runs/workouts, add this shoe to your rotation!

Bought this recently and really happy with it! I tried back to back with New balance SC2 trainer and no comparison it has extra cushioning and much more stable! I upgraded to this from novablast series and it give the extra support especially in the front!

Ok so I just got these shoes and they feel amazing just walking around. I cant wait to see how they feel on the track.

I bought this Sept 1 and delivered Sept 6 ! Put on 14 miles the first day and 5 miles 2nd day ! Its by far the best long distance training shoes Ive ever got . Please make more colors .

Im sure the shoes are great. However, ASICS uses a bargain basement shipping company called Pandion. It is not a sure thing you will get your package, I havent! Great product, terrible service. Think Ill order from a distributor going forward, or maybe stick with Saucony and Nike.

The Gold Standard!! Ive been a loyal ASICS fan for 30 years!! The Superblast 2 is incredible! As a dedicated marathoner, I went through 3 pair of Superblast and now on second pair of Superblast 2. Incredible features! Excellent cushioning with soft landings but incredible spring, bounce, responsiveness. Fast shoe but supportive and light. Very fun to run on. If it feels awkward to run on at first, please give it time. It is truly a revolutionary shoe and worth your trust!! Legs, hips, knees recover so much faster with these puppies. These shoes are super heroes!! It is also a very smooth transition with Novablast (4). Excellent pairing. ASICs continues to set the standard.

Ive raced two half Ironmans in these in the last 2 months and they have been amazing! Super comfortable, supportive but feel snappy at the same time. I will not be buying anything else assuming this model stays in stock!
