I tried these for about 50 miles. The heal-to-toe offset is too great for me. On top of that, the width in the toe box is incredibly narrow. I felt like I was going to have deal with ingrown toenails (again) if I stayed with these shoes. I have no idea why so many runners rave about these. I was happy to dump these last week despite the cost. I love my Edge and Sky Paris racers, but this trainer gives me nothing of the experience that would prepare me to race in the Edge (for shorter races) or the Sky (for marathons). My recommendation: Enlarge (or widen) the toe box, and adjust the heal-to-toe offset in Asics max cushion training shoe to match your racing models.

This is the shoe Ive been looking for. Amazing for daily runs but more than capable for race day. I bought a second pair after my second run with these shoes. Would recommend these to any runner.

Great all around shoe. Comfortable for long runs and fast enough for Tempo sessions. There isn't much difference between this shoe and the original which is a good thing in my book!

Casual 3-4x a week runner here, with slightly wide feet. These fit and work great with my custom orthotics. The impact protection and the ride are a pleasure for me to run in. Pricey, but well worth it compared to other brands in my opinion.

Awesome shoe! Super lite. Super fast. I love the upper. The midsole is just a tad firm for my like but other than that the shoe is perfect. Great job ASICS!

I like the performance aspect of the shoe. Good cushioning and energy return for picking up the pace. The styline is really nice. I dont like the hot spots I felt with the shoes. Some of it is my feet, but part of it is the shoe. Wanted to use these for long runs, but with the hot spots I will only be able to do runs of 6 miles or less in these.

Great max cushion shoe but only if you like a very smoochy feel when you run. If you are doing progressive long runs you might want to look for other options. But for easy long run miles and anything in zone 2, they will work great. They are just too soft for me.

The fit was great. And they do have cushion. But I did wish they were more responsive.

Great quality - the SuperBlasts are great for my medium to long runs. Coming from the Nimbus gel they do feel slightly more comfortable but I did notice the toe box felt larger, making the shoe itself feel 1/2 a size larger.

I've been running in the Asics Superblast 2 for a month now and so far it's been great. At first, I was skeptical about the shoe due to its firmer midsole compared to the other shoes in my rotation that has a softer and responsive midsole. It took me several runs in this shoe to fully appreciate this midsole. The upper is nice and comfortable and found it to be breathable with no hotspots. The laces are adequate in length and have enough length for me to do a runner's knot. The midsole has a medium firmness yet responsive and protective for those long runs. Supposedly, this new FF Turbo Plus is softer than its previous version but for me it's feels a bit firm. The outsole rubber is great with very good grip. I did not have any issues when running through wet pavement. Importantly, the overall weight of the shoes is quite light for a super trainer with my size men's 9.5 coming in at 9.1 ounces. Lastly, the Superblast 2 is very versatile in that it is suitable for slow to fast paces. However, I did find the shoe to be best at faster paces and that's where it shines. If there should be any improvement for its next iteration, it should be a reduction in weight and even a softer midsole. Also, better availability for customers since I had to be lucky to snag a pair!

I am a middle to back of the pack runner. I purchased the shoes in my regular, running shoe size. It's a comfortable shoe with a solid lock in. It has a firm and propulsive midsole that feels special to run on! I am using for my daily training and a half marathon race. It is easy to pick up the pace. The only downside is that it is difficult to actually get a pair.

This is my second pair and help my runs go smoothly. No pain upon impact and shaved time on my 5k runs. I got my size and the other pair 1/2 size up and both give me blister on the second toe but theyre so comfortable other than that

These are great but with the unisex sizing for women at least, they fit about 1 full size too big.

I have worn them twice, they are my first ASICS running shoes and they are the most propulsive comfortable running shoes I have ever had. After my first 5 mile run in them I felt like I should just keep running. Out of the five other running shoes I have from other brands they are hands down the best!!!

Just ran my first 1/2 (Crazy Horse, S.D.) since buying the Superblast. I have all sorts of issues with my feet, these were very comfortable and stable on primarily a rail trail (10mi.). Managed a 1st place in my age group 70-74! I ve had Hokas, and now NB Rebel 4, but these are going to be my long distance shoe.
