If I were to buy another pair I would go a half size up.

The ASICS Superblast 2 is now my new favorite. I am excited to lace them up and train for a marathon. They are responsive, comfortable, light weight, and make my runs feel easy.

Im not sure what I had expected as I had heard rave reviews of this shoe. My initial impression was that it felt strange to run in. I have used Bondi 8s and other super soft shoes without problems. This one has taken time to adjust to. After several weeks it seems fine but I dont think of them as anything special. The fit and comfort is fine.

If your Dad wore shoes like this when you were growing up, you'd have siblings you've never met !! Love my superblast 2 kicks!!

This shoe has a great balance of firmness and energy return to go along with high cushion and stability. It is also very light especially given such a high stack and premium feel. Im a heel striker and it feels fine for me. Ive tried many high end shoes before settling on this due to its all around boxes checked off (metaspeed edge, Nike alpha fly and vapor fly) but those were too minimalistic for what I needed. Once again energy return and bounce are very high end and not squishy at all for cushioning. Barely feel the ground with these. I went a half size up then I normally do and I also had to for novablast. Maybe its just asics with my feet because I was in between with my normal size just too small and the half size up just a slight too big, but Id rather have space then squished toes.

They are perfect for my tempo and long runs. Worth every penny!

This is my new go-to race day shoe. I regularly train with the Nova Blast but after reading the reviews, wanted to try these out. This shoe is strikingly similar in fit and weight but has more cushion and bounce. The shoe does run slightly big so while I usually go a 1/2 size up in my running shoes, I did not need to for this shoe. The extra cushion takes a little getting used to, but I have completed both a half and a full marathon with these shoes and they have held up perfectly. I ran a 10 miler to break them in, but I could have used these on race day right out of the box.

Very comfortable and smooth shoe. My first run with these was a 14 miles. They are great for long distance running.

These are great shoes. Versatile and comfortable. I use them for longer runs, mostly. But theyre light and responsive for shorter runs or for workouts with speed work mixed in. I have owned the first version and this version. This one is a tiny bit heavier, but the upper is more comfortable. Overall, I love this shoe. Highly recommend.

Bought these shoes recently after running in the Novablast 5 and find them to be a bit disappointing. Was hoping to use these for longer tempo runs and maybe racing, but they don't have the same responsiveness as the Novablast 5. Hard to get on your toes when you want to run fast - Forefoot to Heel ratio needs to be reworked to make these fast. At similar effort levels the Superblast 2 seem to be 10-20 seconds slower per mile compared to the Novablast 5. Superblast 2 seem fine for longer mileage runs, but they are not nimble or punchy when you ask them to be - like running in a clown shoe.

I am enjoying the SuperBlast 2 shoes. The midsole support is perfect for extensive walking.

Light and bouncy, but not too bouncy and stable enough for me. Feels faster than the Nimbus. I'm running with Asics Nimbus for years but its hard to compare cause I don't have the lates Nimbus and the one I have has about 450KM in it so its not a fair comparison. Will consider a Novablast in the future but I'll put in at least 300KM into this one first.

So, the timing was just right because my Hokas were dead and I needed new running shoes. I didnt jump straight to these, though I wish I had. I watched countless reviews and saw so many videos talking about these and the Novablast 5s. Trying to be budget conscious I went Novablast, and Im not upset about that, but theyve become my treadmill shoes. Now, the Superblast 2s, these things are amazing. They do take several runs (around 35-40 miles for me) to get there, but man is it worth it. What landings, and the cushion throughout the stride is perfection, and the toe off at the end is absolutely effortless. Running fast for short distance, no problem. Slow it down for a longer run, OK. I know everyones feet are different, along with their stride and pronation, but I would recommend these to almost anyone! They just beg for more no matter how far you go!

Excelent product! It make me feel like bending forward in a natural way so I can increase my speed effortless It does not cushion the step as much as the Gel Nimbus 26 that I frequently use but the performance worth it!

Great Long Run, but also fast enough for tempo paces! My first superblast and I'm very impressed. I have done a super fast 10K and also a more controlled 25k run in them.

Great (super even) training shoe. Light, responsive, quality materials. I put in around 30M/week with them (rotate with Novablast 2) and I haven't had any issues.

Fits great. Feels great. Durable. Definitely worth the price.

Most comfortable easy paced shoes ever. Also just did a speed/interval workout in them, no problem. I have difficult feet to please and after many recent new shoe trials, Ive finally hit a winner! Bought them for long runs but they may be more versatile than I even had hoped for.

Feels like walking on a cloud..plenty of room and breathable
