A comfortable fit that cushions the feet for long runs.

Terrible customer service. FedEx lost my package. ASICS said they would send me a replacement in 7-10 days. Its been 10+ days and I havent received any confirmation.

Asics changed a winning formula. I have owned 6 pairs of Gel Kayano, loved them and would rate them 5 stars. The Gel Kayano 31 is disappointing. The colors look very different than the pics and the fit is not as snug and supportive for my feet. The good thing is that they run a little wide and I have wider than average feet. Will not buy these again.

I love the fit and ride of the shoes. My only complaint is that the laces are just barely long enough to tie. I also have a pair but in blue. The laces that came with that pair are fine. Overall great shoe. I will continue to buy these one this pair has worn out.

Super comfy, but what happened Asics? You guys used to have standards. Quality has slowly died out at Asics. Anyway, this pair was purchased about two months ago, and it's already falling apart on the bottom. The rubber outer sole used to be solid, but it seems to be cheaply glued together stacked rubber. I'm probably not describing it correctly. The design is still great and comfortable, but for a shoe that is almost $200 with tax, falling apart in two months is just annoying.

Shoe is very bulky around the sides and back of the feet. If you wear pants, they usually end up down inside of the shoe. Comfortable, but look terrible

Very comfortable shoe. Light in weight with a soft cushion sole. The best option is that it comes in three widths. Each width has a different feel and fit. I found extra wide to be the best for me.

Ive been buying Gel Kayano shoes for years. In fact, I buy 2 new pairs every 4 months because I walk at least 5 miles a day. As someone with multiple hip replacements and one total knee replacement, the Gel Kayano provides amazing support and stability that is pain free. I dont think I could walk 5 miles a day in other shoes.

They were comfortable, but I couldn't wear them indoors. They squeaked so badly on surfaces like tile and wood that they actually drew attention, and it wasn't just a matter of breaking them in. I got them direct from ASICS and they wouldn't accept a return, but did approve a warranty claim with a video showing the issue (one-time code for a single item). After reading other reviews saying the same, I figured it was a waste to just get another of the same pair, so I got the Kayano 30, which are great and don't squeak. Just not crazy about spending $165 for $120 shoes.

When you upgraded the Gel-Kayano 26 to Gel-Kayano 31, you ruined a good fitting shoe. The 26 was awesome. The 31 is not. 31 has less support for overpronation & toe box isn't as high as the 26. I returned the 31.

Nice shoes, the most comfortable I have ever worn.

These sneakers are so squeaky when you walk on hard indoor floors. I bought these for work, but everyone keeps looking at me due to the squeak. The geniuses at the customer service told me to try baby powder which didnt work and they wont let me return the sneakers.

To be honest, it is the best shoe I have ever owned and it is worth every cent I paid for it. It is very comfortable for my feet and I do not feel tired on long distances. Super great confort the color perfect the material is strong

If you have wide flat feet and want a comfortable fit this shoe is well worth trying out. The width of the toe box is impressive and extremely comfortable. The heel works really well with my foot type and keeps the shoe in place very comfortably. The only improvement, for me, would be having more space for my big toes height wise. I do feel as though the height could be a little more inside the shoe for the big toes, this is being extremely picky though.

Dont buy from ASICS online! If the shoe doesnt fit, return shipping is a hassle. Its hard to find a box big enough for shipping them back and fedex charges $12 for packaging a shoe box to send back. Shoe is a 3.5 star shoe. Feels comfortable but the wide is still too narrow in the midfoot but good in the toe box. Just go try them at a running store, buying from asics directly is a hassle if you need to return.

The shoe is not up to the mark I had Gel kayano 27/28/29/30/31 now I am wearing these shoes from couple of years but this one is not up the mark

Out of the box they were some of the comfiest shoes I've put on my feet. They are a fresh experience with fabric that is not abrasive on the feet (unlike the Kayano 27 I previously used). They have a very maximalist, chunky vibe so if you don't like that you should look for something else. If you have any type of overpronation/plantar fasciitis problems like me, these would be a great choice.

Very light and comfortable using for walking and working out

This shoe offers a soft, plush cushioned base and most importantly - enough guidance to keep my foot firmly centered on top of it. The laces allow enough range of adjustment that I can lock my feet in place firmly, or leave them loose enough to function as slip ons by the door. I consider these a great shoe for everyday pavement/floor activities that even does an acceptable job walking on slopes and uneven terrain. The design of these shoes is keeping 239 pounds of human perched atop a size 13 wide sole. Good job Asics.

Perfect fit for me as a 5'9 Asian male. Supple cushioning and decent support. I feel like this does help me as a beginner runner who over pronated because my feet are as flat as a ducks.

All-around best training shoe, with comfortability, durability, responsiveness, and style, for people without concerns of foot rotation or placement.

This shoe is my favorite. Love the fit and the stability. I will be looking for a couple more. Mostly used for walking. 10.5, extra wide. I live in Hawaii.

Shoe treads have started coming apart on the bottom after a few weeks of normal use. Not sure if there was not enough glue or what. The right shoe also fits a little weird on my foot but not the biggest issue.
