Had not bought a new running shoe for over 10 years, and this one hopefully will work for my next 10. So far only put 3 miles on the shoes but they are good for what they provide in a running shoe. I should have gotten a wide, but if I get another running shoe for wet weather I will consider asics again depending on price/features/colors.

Honestly the most comfortable shoes Ive ever worn by far. So good I dont even need my Superfeet or Aetrex liners I used in my kayano 30s. Much more cushion than the 30s. Love the heel tab and mesh toe box for summertime. Like walking on a cloud. I have flat, wide, overpronating feet and I dont even need the wide size. If they didnt squeak walking on hardwood, I probably wouldnt even take them off inside. I have the size 10.5 Mars Red - not sure if shoes can get any better than these.

This is everything a shoe should be. Great looking, feels great and I would definitely recommend Gel-Kayano 31s

Love these already. I have them about 5 days and put about 10 miles on them. They are so soft and cushioned. Love the bright colors as well.

I waited a long time for these shoes. When i get them, the box was so damage the shoes inside became loose and damaged during transit and delivery. Imagine a broken box with two loosen shoes inside a plastic bag. Not very well packed. Not happy at all.

Great shoe, but it seems as though the Gel-Kayano keeps shrinking. Back when I started with the 24, and this shoe became my "go to", I could get away with my normal size (12). However, the last shoe was narrower, and this one seems to have a little less room between the sole and the laces. I would go with a half size up to match the comfort and roominess of the older models.

Shoes fit great. Had zero issues breaking them in. My feet usually hurts when breaking in a new pair of shoes but these were great.

These G-K's are the best fitting, plus comfortable shoe for me Asics makes, GT ' s and other models i mostly have to go up in size. I dont run anymore, but do stand and fish for more than 8 hrs when fishing, and these Gel Kayano 31's are super soft on my 65 yo feet.

If you like gel - kayano 30, you will find gel - kayano 31 better. I felt gel - kayano 31 more reactive.

Been running in some form of ASICS since my college track team used them for cross country (a long long time ago). Have been in Nimbus for a while but version 26 just didn't work (narrow toe box, hard upper, sole wear), so I switched brands. When the 31's were introduced I was encouraged by the marketing and these did not disappoint. I would say these are the best ASIC's that I have ever owned, as they check all the boxes: long lace pattern for fit, much better uppers and the toe box is roomy. I love the knit tongue with just the right padding. The ankle collar is perfect and the added knit with the pull is a super addition. Even the sole was designed to last much longer than the previous ASIC's. This is the first time I have ever given a review on anything, these are that good!

1st day running in the 31s very comfortable. Please Asics, provide us gentleman with better and brighter colors!!!! I really get a lot of attention in the vibrant red Gel 30s!!!

AI came out to our Run Club in Laguna Beach and blessed our runners with a demo day of this shoe! The feedback we had from about 50+ runners was all excellent and the stability. The shoe gives you along with the comfort quality and durability is unmatched in the shoe industry. Stoked to log more miles on mine!

Best shoes but need better colours .. should try to make them more visually appealing
