I gave it four because on line photo deceptive. Paloma is a pale gray. I know that now. Just not what I expected I wore the shoes tonight for several hours. Comfortable to walk in and wear for several hours first time out of box. Uppers are so soft. Good gripping soles. Im picky about fit, how my shoes make my entire body feel. They remained very comfortable. No leg,feet, hip or back pain. True to review. I was barefoot.

I need a low-profile, warm, waterproof/water resistant, barefoot-style hiking shoe and I thought these would fit all the criteria. Despite being a petite woman, the toe box is too narrow so I have to return them. I wish Merrell would make barefoot -style shoes with wider toe boxes. I am sad these shoes did not work.

Fun shoe, very cute especially with leggings. Could use some padding in the floor of the shoe.

These shoes are wonderful. They are so comfortable. I had foot surgery and these are perfect.

I love these shoes! That said the photo shown for the color "Paloma" is very deceptive. The shoe is gray not the off white shown in the photo. I'll keep them but not what I had hoped for.

Color is way off from the advertised pictures. I thought color was off-white but they are very gray. It took me awhile to readjust my expectations, but I did decide to keep them. Very comfy

Comfortable shoes that I have used to tour the Irish countryside. They have held up well with all the wet weather.

Ordered what I thought was a cream color but received grey that matched sole. Still nice but I was purchasing much lighter grey. Not sure why such a huge difference. They do run big. Have not worn out and about yet.

Sooooooo comfortable! Highly recommend these if you want comfort. They're also adorable! The earthy green colour goes with a lot of my clothes: camel Levi cords, army-green pants, light citrus green Levi cords, beige Lee pants, and normal blue jeans, etc!

Searching for a while for a shoe like this. I only wear flat flexible shoes and I have a small foot These fit the bill perfectly. I can wear them with shorts and long pants. I sprayed water repellent for extra protection. So far so good

Very comfortable for walking and traveling. Good traction and arch support with a generous toe box. Im considering another pair!

I haven't been able to wear these yet for the long winter in upstate NY, but I love the way they look and feel. Looking forward to putting some dog walking miles on them.

Didnget the chance to really break them in before my Easter Europe travel vacation but the shoes didnt disappoint. Worth every dollar I paid for it. Cobblestone streets, mixed sand and dirt trails and ever changing terrain were challenges overcomed by my footwear.

Very unique design. My heal sits low in this shoe so I added an orthotic. Love them.

These fit like a glove straight out of the box. Arch support is fantastic, toebox is roomy, soles are grippy and soft. It's just been a few weeks and I'm contemplating a second pair because I already worry about wearing them out.

Really like this shoe. Has plenty of room in toe area! More natural fit for the whole foot.

Incredible traction and excellent arch support. Getting lots of compliments on how cute the shoe looks as well.

At first the instep seemed high. I have pretty average arches. I almost sent them back. Glad I didnt. Turns out I was just not used to actual arch support! Very comfortable and good looking.

I bought these in the color listed as Paloma, they look white in the photos, they are not white, they are very grey!
