lightweight; packable; great color and an all around use windbreaker. cycling; walking or anytime I want a little extra just in case coverage. also protects in fog and light rain. have a black one over 9 years old. still use it although it's a bit faded from the sun and washing. otherwise it's still just as good as when I purchased it.

It's surprising how hard it is to find a breathable nylon jacket for cool weather walks. I've tried numerous nylon rain jackets, but the lining always seems to trap moisture inside. It's like it's raining on the inside. This jacket has no liner and is actually breathable. I wear either a medium or large, depending on the brand, and the large fits me perfectly. So I would advise to size up.

The material is thin and light weight, but the jacket does a good job of providing an effective outer layer. I am medium in size and the jacket fit me very well.

Wife bought me this for my birthday. Finally got to wear it last weekend. Excellent fit, excellent feel. Perfect for those days and nights when you don't need a lined jacket, when just a little something to keep in the warmth fits the bill. Highly recommend.

Great light jacket. It is rain resistant and really cuts the wind.

Really nice and light weight. I do wish the hood was completely removable. It just rolls up, so the collar is a little bulky when it's tucked away. But it's nice to have both options.

A size medium I ordered was small through the shoulders but I exchanged it for a large which fits my 41" chest and 5'7" height perfectly. A nice lightweight jacket for winter wear in Florida or coolish summer evenings in New England. Workmanship is typical LL Bean excellence.

I like the material does the job, sizing is off, my large is pretty snug.

This is a nylon (no polyester) windbreaker. Very lightweight. A zipper is in one of the pockets. Both pockets have flaps over them to protect pocket contents. The hood rolls up into the collar and 3 Velcro tabs keep the hood into the collar. I bought a man's instead of a woman's as I wanted a loose fit and a different color. The sleeves are a tad bit long, but not a problem for me. I bought the deep olive. Exactly what I was looking for. Made in Thailand.

I thought the size was spot on. 5'7" 180-lbs Medium. Very comfy with a smooth texture that doesn't stick to fleece. Relaxed preppy boater look

This might seem like a minor detail, but the zipper in this jacket is the very best I've ever experienced in ANY outfit ever. It always snaps and it never falters. A perfect piece of clothing.

Nicely made. Good weight of fabric for a windbreaker. Feels a little snug. Arms are snug, but good length. Shoulders feel OK. Torso is snug. Overall length is good.

I am from Asia - lives near the equator. Visiting the US in the winter .. I didn't know about wind breakers until a friend suggested . I wanted a light one , and as I had previously purchased items from LL Bean, went ahead and bought this. Very light and fits perfectly . Works pretty well .

I love the fabric and the color. It reminds me of the windbreakers my parents used to have in the 90s. Glad I found a stylish one. The pockets are so discreet, I love that the hood can be folded into a collar
