Great comfy shoes

Shoes look really good and are comfortable. Bought the Amherst 2.0 recently. They are a little loose in my heel but with the right socks it isnt noticeable. Been buying J&M shoes for years. I dont really know another place you can get good looking shoes like this in that beautiful blue color.

Overall I like the shoe, but the shape of the bottom creates a suction noise when on flat surfaces (especially when wet). Ive very annoying and I dont plan on wearing the shoes anymore.

One of the best designed and most comfortable casual sneakers on the market. Not a slip on, which is a plus. Im 20 yr Johnston & Murphy customer. And I hate to say it but these are horrendous in application. Ie walking. Anytime Im walking on a smooth surface such as tile, smooth concrete these suction cup to the floor and pop with each step. What a poor sole design. All other J & M casual sneakers dont compare in comfort. IMO. Thank goodness for the 60 day return policy.

At 61 yr old, I changed into this Amherst 2.0 at a wedding reception because they are so comfortable plus they are classy wearing a suit. The leather trim really sets off this shoe! Yes, this old man was styling at the event in his new Amherst shoes.

Shoe is greatEXCEPT there is a little cavern under your foot that acts and sound like a plunger. If Im on any tile or wood floor it sounds like a cupping experiment

Delighted with the look, feel and comfort Even my wife liked them. I normally have to return shoes that dont fit comfortably but these hit the target.

Three month update. Still a great looking pair of shoes but they have there issues.As I said before they make a snapping sound when walking on hard surfaces. And found out they don't provide much traction on wet hard surfaces. I slipped with them on a few times. So overall this will likely be my last purchase from J&M.
