My new Amherst 2.0 are very comfortable and look great. They fit perfectly right out of the box. The materials are light and breath comfortably here in the Houston, TX hot temperatures. This was my first purchase at J&M, but it certainly won't be my last. The customer service and shipping was terrific.

I actually look to the opportunities when I can wear these shoes. Lightest lace-up shoe I have ever owned, they breathe really well to keep my feet cool, were extremely right out of the box(I wore them for a dinner the day I received them), and I :heart: the style. Also extremely versatile with outfits. I have planned my fits around these shoes, which I have NEVER done before for a pair of shoes. HIGHLY recomme d these shoes!

I was looking at something comfortable and stylish. As a result of an old ankle injury, I needed a well padded shoe for soft landing with every step. At the same time, my feet swell up at the end of the day, so I needed a stretching comfortable width. There are not many shoes to fit that description other than sneakers, so I am very happy to have a stylish, cushioned, comfortable wide shoe.

Great sneaker. True to size with plenty of room in the toe box, and it's a slip-in!

I have feet that always run hot. I needed something light for travel that aren't flip flops. These are a pleasure to wear.

I bought this shoe as a complementary pair to a pair of similar shoes from Allen Edmonds. I found the J&M shoes to look just as good as the AE, quality was also comparable, AND they were $100 less. I'll be adding another of these shoes to my casual collection.

Now that I know Abe Lincoln wore the same Brand of shoes, I will have a Better Strut when I walk!

I have been a JM shoe cutter for a few years. I have tried different styles and have been very pleased with all. I was preparing to travel to two countries that I knew would require a lot of walking. I also new that they would be mostly extreme dry conditions. I fly light so I wanted one pair of shoes. I literally wore the Ameherst from the time I boarded the plane in the US until I retuned home. The only time thy came off was for sleeping. I walked about 8-10k steps a day. These shoes held up under some rough conditions. I purchased the gray that were not flashy and could be worn with jeans. I have dressed up and down with these shoes. I have two pair, one is the pair that tracked many miles in three countries. I highly recommend for comfort and fit!

These shoes are very comfortable, I have a wide foot and it's difficult for me to find shoes that fit correctly like these do. Very nice, they look good with everything,

Great looking, very comfortable shoe that comes in extra wide. I love them. Have the heather blue and the gray now.

These shoes are even more comfortable than my athletic shoes from Brooks. They are extremely stylish and look great for my work as an educator. I plan to use them as my next European vacation shoe as well and am buying them in several colors.

These shoes look great, I bought two pair from the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey. My feet never sweat with any pair of shoe I ownhowever with these shoes, my socks are soaking after two hours. I wore them recently at a three day conference and they were the only two pair of shoes that I brought, and I was bumming the entire time. They are unwearable for me.

I wear custom orthotic inserts in every shoe that I own. This is always a real challenge to find shoes that fit well and are comfortable. Tough trifecta combination. These shoes are very comfortable in the Wide. I ordered a 1/2 size up from my normal shoes and a 1/2 size down from what I normally order for my sneakers with inserts. Also, they are great in terms of looking a bit nicer than standard running shoes. Highly recommend.
