I bought these for travel, particularly cobblestone streets in Europe. They are very comfortable and have a cushioned sole. You can dress them up or dress them down which makes them versatile.

These were so nice out of the gate. J&M is my go to brand for sure. While it stinks a lot of their great shoes do not have a M/W option, when I do find the wider option shoes they normally are fantastic. I bought these shoes and thought it would be awesome! Then I realized everywhere I walked the shoes would suction cup on smooth surfaces and make a loud suction cup noise. I thought I could get through it and realized they were too loud to often so I had to return them. Of course J&M customer service was awesome and great to work with as always. I wish these soles would have been different like other J&M shoes so I could purchase them again. Hope this helps.

Dress them up or down. A versatile wardrobe addition. Might need to order in gray!

I have feet that always run hot. I needed something light for travel that arent flip flops. These are a pleasure to wear.

I bought this shoe as a complementary pair to a pair of similar shoes from Allen Edmonds. I found the J&M shoes to look just as good as the AE, quality was also comparable, AND they were $100 less. Ill be adding another of these shoes to my casual collection.

I now have several pairs of these in different colors. They are my go to shoe for most any occasion.

The Amherst 2.0 is a nice shoe and very comfortable. We need more wide options, as these are only available in certain colors.

I got a pair of these in blue 3 weeks ago. They are truly comfortable and stylish. I can wear them to the office. There a weird noise though, when walking the right heel sticks to tile or smooth wood floors, creates a suction effect and loud pop with every step I take. I still really like them but wish I didnt have the suction noise.

Love the look but the soles look like trash after only a week of wear. I've had them about four months and I have to clean the white parts of the soles with nail polish remover constantly.

Shoe is greatEXCEPT there is a little cavern under your foot that acts and sound like a plunger. If I'm on any tile or wood floor it sounds like a cupping experiment
