Size and fit is perfect. So comfortable the first time you wear them. Love the style. Worth every penny.

The shoes fit beautifully. Color magnificent. Hated the look of the white soles.

They’re fine, and I like the style so I kept them. But they are more flat than other Taos shoes I’ve owned, and that keeps me from being to wear them all day. I took them to Europe with me but they aren’t an all day sandal because of how flat they are. They’re fine for being around town, though and great with sundresses.

High quality sandals, but heel was not as soft as I was hoping.

Overall I REALLY wanted to love these! I was a little worried about the fold-over part of the strap irritating the top part of my foot and when I tried them on that is the ONLY part that I noticed *might* be uncomfortable. I don't want to wear them enough to make them un-returnable, so it's possible that part wouldn't end up bothering me, but for almost $200 I think they should be pretty close to perfect. They are SO cute that I really want to just keep them, but I need a shoe that is going to be with me through the miles!

I loved the look of these shoes but when I went to close the strap it barely reached the velcro closure. Unfortunately going back.

I really wanted to like these shoes. They felt like they would be very comfortable, however the wrap around the toes really digs in.

This shoe is so cute and had good arch support. My problem is that the strap across the toes pinched on one foot and I could not find a way to correct the issues by adjusting the straps. For the price, I felt I had no option but to return them. Zappos has by far the BEST customer service and BEST return policy. There orders are shopped out promptly and the constantly keep you updated about your order. I order from them whenever I can.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the strap around the heel is a bit long and the one across the top of the foot is a bit short. My feet are wide and this shoe is probably narrower than it should be for me but I love the style. The bed of the shoe is very comfortable and it is great for walking on different surfaces - the tread on the bottom is good and the cork makes for a smooth walk. Overall I love the style, wish they had different length straps as mentioned and wish they were a tad wider but they are comfortable and look good.

The footbed is very comfortable, however, as other reviewers noted, the strap is too short leaving half an inch of velcro exposed. For the price, they ought to be perfect. Too bad!

These fit well and had a comfortable footbed. I have a narrow foot and I was able to tighten them enough. That being said, they were pretty heavy, and one of the straps near my ankle were rubbing and I could tell it was going to be uncomfortable with a lot of walking. That was the reason I purchased them so I returned. Given the price, they needed to be basically perfect.

Very cute and comfortable except as many others have reported, the Velcro straps are woefully too short. Unless you have a very skinny ankle these won’t do. I could take them to a cobbler and have the Velcro moved but this would add $40+ to the already high cost. Sadly returning. Taos: please lengthen the straps and add padding to the back of the heel.

The overall quality of the materials appeared to be satisfactory, however, the design of the straps is very poor. The straps are too short and the velcro used to fasten the straps is severely misplaced. I had read about this being an issue in some of the reviews, however, like the look of the shoe so much that I ordered them, hoping the reviews were off base. Unfortunately, they weren’t. I expected more from the brand and particularly due to the price point. That’s one expensive sandal to have such an obvious design flaw.

They were just ok for the price. They didn't fit quite right and I couldn't justify keeping them at that price.

These fit nicely and looked so unique. Very comfy footbed. Soft leather. But that leather twist that looks so awesome also cut into my toes :( Back they went...

Super cute but I’m going to try half size up

The quality feels great. The right side of the sandal did not fit the shape of my foot and my pinky toes were squished.

Unfortunately I had the same problem as other reviewers. The ankle strap is too short and only attached to the first inch of the "sticky" velcro when the sandal is on my foot. The rest of the velcro showing isn't a great look but I could live with it. I'm concerned that the connection will wear out quickly though since there's only about an inch actually "sticking". At this price I'm not willing to take the chance which is really disappointing because I think they're very cute.

I fell in love with the look of these sandals on the Taos website. I ignored the warnings of several reviewers there that the strap that flips under the toe strap put pressure on the pinky toe, but they were right. No amount of cuteness can make up for the intense pain that doubled over strap placed on each of my little toes. The shoe is not too narrow, nor is the horizontal toe strap too tight. I tried chaining on my pinky toes, and I tried these out around my house for two weeks. The pain was persistent, and these shoes are going back. On the plus side, the arch support is excellent, the leather smooth, and the Velcro straps nicely adjustable. None of that overcomes the pain in my little toes with every step.

I’m really disappointed in how these sandals look after only wearing them a couple times a week for the last 3 weeks. They look ready for Good Will. Definitely not the sane I’ve experienced in the past and DEFINITELY NOT worth the price tag. They’re very comfortable and attractive though. But, I don’t see myself buying another Taos shoe.

Loved the style & support of the sandal. Unfortunately, the spot at the pinky toe where the leather folds under was very uncomfortable. It squished my toe so much that it was unwearable.

The straps wouldn't even close on me.

I liked these sandals a lot, however the pair that was sent me was defective. The Velcro on the back of the left shoe was not sewn on correctly and was coming off of the shoe.
