I had to return these and I hated too. These are absolutely some of the cutest Birks ever, but alas Birkenstock has modified their footbed for the the more fashionable styles. It says regular footbed on these but if you hold them sole to sole with say a Boston the shoe is a solid 1 cm narrower and pushing 1.25 cm narrower. So for those of us with a solid D width foot - we are literally being squeezed out of the fashionable Birks. I hope the Boston and Arizona foot beds are still the same. Zappos thanks for all you do - you are the best.

Fit and size suited me perfectly. I have the taupe Buckley and black Buckley shearling and wear them often. Returning these because the color (maroon) just doesn't do it for me.

I was so excited to get these. I ordered my normal size and the regular width. (The narrow Birkentstock width is too tight for me.) I want to love them, but the stitches around the toes are annoying and the upper doesn't feel like leather. They have normal Birk bottoms, but the tops are made in the US. I've been wearing them only around the house trying to decide whether to keep them. I also agree with others that the elastic on top of the foot is annoying. I wear with socks so I think I can live with it.

These are really cute shoes. Very comfortable overall. My only issue is I have a longer 2nd toe and it rubs the front of the shoe. I’m hoping it stretches out a little once it breaks in. But overall a cute shoe!

So cute!!! However, they were too wide for my narrow foot so I have to return them. Felt good with a thick sock but didn't like the pink color with socks

Normally wear a regular/wide, but as I thought the unbuck is stretching, breaking them in. Love the style.

Love the look. Had to order a size down. Not as comfy as other Birkenstock styles but keeping them. Waiting for the blue ones to come back in stock.

These birks are cute and comfy BUT I cannot keep the straps in the buckles. It is the weirdest thing. I fix the straps, look down, and they are unstrapped again. I am kind thinking about ordering a pair in another color but the strap issue with the pair I currently own kind of bums me out.

Perfect feet for a confortable shoe. I found significant differences among sizes. I ordered a size 6.5 and it was small, I reordered them in size 38, they were huge. I return them and got another 37… perfect… so it’s a mystery. It took me a while, but I got this middle season shoe amd it’s perfect. Thanks to Zappos for its patience and great customer service

They run a bit big length wise but are very comfortable. The narrow width felt fine. I’m just not sure how to style them with clothes so I may have bought really expensive slippers.

Comfortable and true to size, but they are just so weird looking. My husband is used to my “comfortable” shoe collection, but he saw these and observed that I was now at a turning point: am I completely giving up on style in the name of comfort? Completely? I had to think about it. And I decided to keep fighting the good fight to look at least somewhat cute in my 50’s. I don’t have to wear stilettos, but I don’t have to just give up, either.

For some reason these are sold in narrow width, but I took a chance and ordered in my normal size. They fit like my normal Birk sandals with the exception of feeling a little more snug around the foot. Not tight, just more secure. I love them. I wish the adjustable strap would stay in the buckle but I can deal with that with some double stick tape or something. Very minor. In any case, I got the navy and they are super cute with jeans. Winter Birks for work. Huzzah!

I really wanted to like these- I wear a 37 in Mayari, and these felt just a hair narrower than I would have liked. But the real concern for me is that I'm SUPER sensitive, really picky, and I could tell the seams that were on the upper would bug me. They were so cute tho!

Maybe it is the style of shoe, but the recommended size was just too long for me. Otherwise, the shoe was very comfortable. I purchased this in the smooth silver but would like to see this shoe in some other "colors" --and that is not rough suede: Black patent, black, Navy, some sort of taupe.

These were too small and unfortunately Zappos did not have these in a 41. I wanted this style over the Boston because this looks less clunky. Sadly, these were returned.

These are a great slip on for spring I have had several compliments on them but I feel like they are very conspicuous Possibly because my feet are large The silver color is cute but it makes the shoes look big I plan to wear them anyway because they are so comfy

I have several Birkenstock and my size is always a 40 narrow though I have one in 40 regular too. These I felt were about a half size longer than all my other Birks. I have boston, mayari, Arizona, zeurich and Madrid. They fit about as loosely as the Boston but the length seems longer for some reason. I’m returning and I may try a 39 at some point but not right now. I thought they looked cute on but my husband said they look clunky. The leather is soft and the “soft pink” color is a pretty pink. I wish they had worked out and I wish they fit a little snugger than the Boston. I find I don’t wear my Boston much because they feel loose on me and I was hoping these would feel more fitted. Maybe the smaller size would help with that but not sure.

Ordered Birkenstock sandals in same size and they fit perfectly, width and length. These were so big I couldn't even keep them on with thick socks, no support compared to sandals.

Elastic under front flap pinched my foot

I usually wear 7-7.5M in shoes and the 38 narrow was just right fit-wise. The footbed is as comfortable as my typical Birkenstock sandals. They don't look as clunky as the Boston clogs. The only thing that bothers me is a little part of the seam on the inside (near the junction of the elastic strap). It only bothers me on the left foot and not the right, so it probably depends on your foot shape. I'm going to keep them anyway -- thinking I'll wear with socks or maybe it'll wear in better with time.

I really wanted to like these. There is an elastic strap on the top of the shoe that made it too loose for me...also making me make odd noises when I walked. It would of driven me crazy! Now back to searching for a comfy corked soled shoe that won't be too hot.

I should have listened to zappos recommendation regarding size. My other birks seemed too big at a 40. I wear a womens' 9.5 , but these were perfect in 40. Returned the 39's.
