Terribly uncomfortable! Very stiff!!!!

2nd pair received with a defect. Also arrived in a smashed up box

These sandals did not feet right, they felt uncomfortable and was very bulky for my feet. The buckle was too big for me since I am a small and short person

Very cute but the shoes make a terrible air release sign with each step. Can't really wear outside the house because the sound is super embarrassing. Wish I would have sent back.

I love the shoe but it runs short. I ordered an 11 but it fits like a half size smaller. I had to send the shoe back.

I have two other pairs of Arizona big buckles and I absolutely love them. These came with straps that were too long and there were enough holes to buckle them over my feet. I have wide feet with high arches so this is weird.I Will be sending these back.

Leather extremely stiff and hard

I love these shoes, but they look black in the picture and the pair I got are very faded. They almost look gray. I’ve since gotten another pair of big buckle ones and they are definitely black.

I have about 20 pairs of birkenstocks. I wear them all the time. This pair is poorly made. I can feel the staples that attach the big buckle to the straps rubbing against the top of my foot. The buckle seems really cheap metal and the gold looks like it will flake off in time. Overall, they are stiff and just not what I would expect from a trusted brand. Makes me wonder if someone else is manufacturing these for Birkenstock.

Do NOT buy any with the colored or black insole. It fades & cracks within months. Like 4 months they’ll look horrible. Birkenstock told me I’d need to get them repaired since they give no warranty or guarantee but literally every piece on the sandal would of needed replacing. Horrible quality & horrible customer service.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible quality. Bought these 3 months ago from the Birkenstock page, they’ve faded bad at the sole turned gray & started wrinkling & cracking & where the buckles are faded so bad it was gray & the bottom sole wore down at the heel significantly. Literally every piece on the sandal would of needed replaced IN ONLY 3 MONTHS!! It took over a month just to break them in! Birkenstock said they offer no guarantees or warranty & it would cost me the same amount to repair as to buy new (which I’ll never buy another) the knock offs last longer than the real ones.

These look so cute but are the absolute worst design! The front strap across the foot near the toes it’s far too wide. I wore mine for less than an hour and have blisters across the top of each of my toes. There’s no breaking them in…it is the design the wide strap crates the strap to be a razor blade running against your toes. I am returning.

Ugly gold buckles look cheap in person. Also very small.

Had to return these sandals after wearing them less than 10 times. The buckle separated from the strap. The quality of these isn’t the same as my other burks. Thankfully Zappos is allowing a return since I’ve owned these for only a month.

I love Birkenstock’s, and these LOOK so cute. BUT the leather footbed is AWFUL. After wearing them for 10 minutes my feet would “stick” and make the most annoying sound when I walked. I’m so sad I had to return them because they are super cute.

I ordered narrow but there is still such a gap from my foot to the strap. That’s on the tightest hole. I wound up turning and wiping out as the extra space cause my foot to move without the sandal. The other narrow’s I’ve ordered fit great. I made the mistake prior to not order narrow and same problem. So my issue i sucked up the $150 loss. This time no narrow shouldn’t have that much gap.

The sandals were a little too big and I felt the leather looked like plastic. Very disappointed, as these sandals are 150.

The black big buckle sandals are really cute. I love how they look and fit, but the left sandal makes a very loud noise in the sole when bent at all, so every time you take a step. I will try exchanging for a different pair.

These Birkenstocks are not like any of the many Birks I've owned and loved. They were very narrow without the wider toe box. They also had a plastic type footbed instead of the usual leather. The footbed did not have the comfort or fit of all my other Birks. It did not come anywhere near the support or fit. I was so very disappointed in these. I hope to find some true Birks soon with the wide buckles.

Sadly had to return this. The leather looked scratched and one sandal looks like it already had a stain on it.

Look cheap with large PLASTIC buckles. Certainly not worth the price tag. Disappointed.

I love the style of this shoe and having to send them back made me very sad but even on the last hole, the shoes were too narrow . I could have added extra holes (the straps are long enough) but I didn’t want to experiment on $150 shoes and not be able to return them. I do have full feet and a high arch but they aren’t particularly wide so the traditional Arizona even on the Narrow width fit fine. Like a few others, having only the more feminine styles in narrow only is a bit of a bummer.

First of all, I want to say that there isn't another company more customer oriented than Zappos. They do all they can to service and make the customer happy. For all of that, Thank You, Zappos. Now on to the shoe. I have worn Birkenstock sandals for many more years than a bunch of the readers viewing the review have been alive.. Have always found that they are the very best sandal for comfort. My feet are normal in width and normal to high arch, so I assumed that the Narrow width (the only width offered) would be fine. I was wrong. It just didn't feel comfortable on my foot. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the leather on the sandal. It was very stiff and and not supple at all. Add to that the huge, gold, and fake looking buckles and the sandal was a "no go" for me. I put them on, looked at them, took them off and thought about them. I could not get over the mental thought that they looked like Pilgrim shoes with the buckles. I am sending them back and will be looking at other sandals.

Went for the most $$$ shoe with hopes it would be perfect. Buckles are plastic and the right shoe was sent worn and stretched out………
