These are beautiful but if you’ve been buying regular Birks they will be too small. I’m so disappointed as there are the look I wanted. Birkenstock told me the new trendy styles are only coming in narrow right now which really annoyed me. Anyway, I returned them today.

Will keep because ultimately they’re adorable. BUT. The fit is off because they were only offered in narrow. I ordered a size up and they are a tight squeeze and fit toe-to-heel with zero leeway. The plastic-y/leather? footbed make an embarrassing toot noise when I first walked in them!! So I installed the soft side of Velcro all along the insole as per the Internet suggested...and it did help, but they still “smack” and that’s with impeccably clean and dry feet I assure you! So. After the Velcro and wearing them around with super thick socks to break them in for about a week...I suppose I will keep them because, again, they’re way cute. Albeit, quite high maintenance for a Birkenstock.

I am a Birkenstock faithful and have owned countless pair over the years, due to their uber comfort and quality. That's why it pains me to write this review. These are hands down the most uncomfortable Birks I have ever owned. The leather does not feel or wear like it is oiled. They are still extremely stiff after months of breaking in. And it really disheartens because they are ridiculously cute! The adorable big buckles are a perfect style snip but I'm afraid these are going to be passed on to a friend with more foot pain stamina. Wah wahh...

I did not like the white lining on top of the foot bed. It squeaked as I walked. I prefer the traditional Birkenstock liner. Too bad because I liked the style a lot!

The narrow Berkies have not fit me well, a little too long or too short, I'm in between 38 and 39- there are super cute, if you like bright shiny( huge) gold buckles. Also, the soft sole doesn't seem to have the same support as the regular sole. Too bad, since the unisex widths are often too wide.

I wanted to love these. I really like Birkenstocks, and have a pair of brown sandals I wear almost daily. I love the updated style of the Big Buckle, and was hoping they would work. The reason I am returning these is the rock hard footbed that hits me in all the wrong places.

Cute oversized buckle feature, Birkenstock going for a touch of updated style. The color is very dark blue, nice. My problem was the buckle placement overlapped onto my smaller toes, scratching the skin. I wanted to like them, but they went back.

I bought these sandals to wear in the winter as slippers, so I never wore them outside. They are very comfortable, and big enough to wear with socks. The only problem I have is that they are very uncomfortable when kneeling or sitting on my heels, which I have to do often to take care of my pets and play with my granddaughter. That and well, the style is kind of clunky/ugly (imo), but they are Birkenstocks!

I wanted to love these but didn't care for how shiny the buckles were. I love the leather color and wish they would make regular Arizona's in this leather. Also, I'm tired of all the trendier birks coming out in narrow. I need the regular wider fit and it's bare bones for the selection with the regular (not soft) footbed.

I am sorry to be returning these elegant sandals because the toe section is too wide for my small (6.5N) feet; I think that’s why the uppers rubbed uncomfortably. Evidently these are for people that wear socks with their sandals and I am not one. I have been wearing Mayaris, Florida and Gizeh for many years, my go-tos, and this is my first foray into Arizona and I can see they are not for me.

These are beautiful sandals. The color is just perfect for summer. The big buckle gold is also great. The problem is that the leather is so stiff it would take sandpaper and oil to soften or at least weeks of painful wearing. I am so disappointed that I could not wear right out of the box or even break in. I have several pairs of Birkenstock sandals and shoes and a couple in this style . The sandal runs short too.

What happened to the B reputation for having a cork bed that moulds to your foot? I have ankle problems and thought these would help. I wore them around the house and not only were they stiff, but the foot bed actually hurt as if I were walking barefoot. Pricey and I think they must no longer be made in the original country. I have worn them off and on in hopes that they would change, but no. My ankles are better but these are not! Too late to send back.

For anyone not paying super close attention, these only come in narrow from LL Bean, it says medium width(which I thought was the regular width for Birkenstock) but if you look in the details, it states that this is narrow(I however didn't read that until after they came ;) ). Disappointed as they are too small for my foot, I typically wear a 39 from Birkenstock. They are a super cute sandal though!

I love the looks of these big buckle sandals, but the footbed is hard and slippery. The straps are extremely stiff. I'm sending them back and am going to go with the regular Arizona sandal. This is the second pair of big buckles I've returned.

I can't really comment too much on the comfort/support because I can't wear them because they are too big! But I know from past experience that the Arizona sandals are very comfortable. I didn't care for the pink and the buckles are kind of cheap-feeling and looking. I'm returning them.

I unfortunately must return these. First, they are listed as narrow yet seem bigger than a regular 39, even at the tightest setting. But the big problem is the footbed. I don't understand how anyone who has experienced a classic Birkenstock cork footbed could think these are comfortable. The footbed in these feels like plastic. It also feels warm, while a cork footbed feels cool. I just know that these will not feel good during a hot southern summer. They look cute, but that's about all they have going for them.

I was so excited to get these. Super cute! However, they have a plastic footbed and are VERY uncomfortable! They kill my feet! The reason I buy Birkenstock is for comfort! I wish I could have sent back but had worn them out to dinner! Would not recommend!
