I LOVE how these look but they were so uncomfortable. I pulled a muscle in my calf from wearing them somehow and my feet went numb. If only they had the same cork footbed as other Birks...

I don't like that is doesn't have the traditional Birkenstock foot beds to conform to your feet.

Really hard leather on the straps…not Birkenstock quality.

This narrow style does NOT run wide as someone previously mentioned! Even the straps are too tight for a normal width so I'm going to have to get their wide size. I love the silver buckles on the black. I get frustrated trying to find silver accents instead of the ugly brass tone. I love that the footbed is black as it would hide dirt sweat skin oil whatever compared to the tan natural footbed color. My other pair are the Arizona soft and I think I'm going to stick with that feature bc they're a quicker break in and more comfortable. These ones felt like hard pavement.

These are gorgeous sandals! The rich black shiny leather. The big gold buckles. They were unfortunately the most uncomfortable birks ever. I have tons of Birkenstocks abs know how to break them in. Nothing worked and I have a very narrow foot. So sad because these are so cute . . . But they hurt to wear and at this price point I can’t justify it all. Especially since this brand is all about comfort. Have to return them.

So I loved the stylish look of these Birks, but the patent leather was just so stiff that I knew they would never break in enough to be comfortable across my forefoot. Maybe my pinkie toes are more sensitive than average, but just walking around the house made them sore. As for sizing, they were true to size. I always take a 40 in Birk sandals (I wear a 9.5-10 in regular shoes), and these were no exception. I’m disappointed in the comfort, as I was hoping these could be my “dressy” Birkenstocks, but I guess I’ll have to go back to my tried and true suede soft footbeds.

The footbed is different from all my Birkenstocks. It’s like a hard plastic. Kills my feet. Too late to return. I owns lots and have never bought a pair so uncomfortable. Paid way too much to never wear. Style is cute but that’s it!

I already posted the review for these shoes, well let’s do it again. I love these shoes they’re so cute with big buckle even cuter, but they are not comfortable which is strange for Birkenstocks. I know it takes time to break in, but with these shoes that was not the case. Anyway I ordered apricot color because I had some store credit. When the shoes arrived they were the most comfortable shoes ever the only difference was these are yellow. So I called the customer service and I explained what happened with the same style, same leather ,but one was extremely uncomfortable and the yellow one very comfortable. They told me that sometimes that depends on the color. That didn’t make sense to me at all so I called the Birkenstock store. They said that that’s not true, they should all fit the same, if it’s the same style and same leather which in this case it is. So now I re-ordered the one I wanted to double check if they’re going to fit like yellow. So don’t give up. If you like the shoes and the color and they don’t fit how they supposed to fit, you returned them and you re-order another pair. I know it’s a hassle , but if you like them and you want them so bad you will have to do that and see if it’s going to work out for you like it did for me.

This is my first review ,ever.This are my second pair of Arizona Big Buckle.They are so popular,so I decided to get one pair .The most beautiful,(for me )were White Big Buckle.They were M ,they didn't have narrow. I still got them and I was crazy how cute they are.They were not comfortable at all in the beginning,but I didn't care.After 2 months, finally I was able to walk without any pain.So this second pair that I got are also sooo cute, I fell in love instantly. But,I am not even able to walk in my house for 15 minutes with no pain. I was reading the reviews and everyone is giving 4 , 5 stars.There are some people complaining and saying that this are not the same Birkenstock like they were before.Then I was reading that they need some time to break in. I was always the UGG person .They have the best slippers and I can wear them right away without breaking them first.

I have many pairs of Birkenstock - but this one rubbed the top of my foot.

The foot bed is not like any other Birkenstock I have owned. It is smooth leather and not comfortable. It seems like quality control needs some improvement as there is glue coming out all on all parts where the sandal is glued together. There was even some on the inside arch that was causing pain just while trying on. The glue made it look like they could start to separate at any time. I was really hoping these would be a winner since I am on my feet all day. Thankful for Zappos wonderful customer service and hopefully accepting my return (fingers crossed) as there is no way these are worth the price.

I haven't worn Birkenstocks in over 20 years but have seen how people raving about them lately. So, I bought the Arizona in copper metallic from a department store. I loved the look but noticed a scuff mark before I even got to wear them outside the house. I came here and discovered that many have reported that the shoes scuff very easily. So, I returned them because shoes that are this expensive shouldn't scuff so quickly. I decided to try the Big Buckle because I like how the buckle elevates the shoe from the standard Birk. I bought the fire red because I love a pop of color and thought they'd be cute for fall. (I live in Central Texas where sandal season lasts through November.) When the shoes arrived, I knew I'd be sending them back. They are not the vibrant red shown here. Instead, they're more of an antique, slightly faded red. There's nothing wrong with that look, but it's not what I was going for. I can wear an 8 or 8.5, depending on the shoe, and bought 39, which fit perfectly. The foot bed was very hard, but I understand it can take a while to break in Birkenstocks. Had the color been what I wanted, I'd have been ok with the breaking in period. Alas, I had to return them. Given my experience with both shoes, maybe this means Birkenstocks just aren't for me. ?????

These are cute, but the sole of the shoe is covered in black leather and it’s HOT! Makes my feet sweat so much! I like the style of the shoe but would prefer the regular Birkenstock footbed.

This review is for the apricot nubuck Arizona Big Buckle with a white sole. I wear a lot of orange so I'm always looking for a comfortable orange sandal. Only a University of Texas alum could love this sandal and I actually went to law school there. This color combo is so clownishly wrong that I didn't even try them on - just put them back in the box for return. (I did try the black big buckle which was fine in all regards.) This shoe does not look better in person.

Wanted to love the BIG BUCKLE, but looked ridiculous on my feet. All I could see was the HUGE buckle.

So cute and comfy. However, the liner on the white is uncomfortable and doesn’t allow your foot to breathe. I’ll stick to cork footbeds from Birkenstock.

these are super cute sandals. love the big buckles! however, not a fan of the leather footbed at all. my feet stuck to it all the time and I don’t have sweaty feet. I returned these because of the footbed.

The big buckles are very cute, but unfortunately, the one at the toes is positioned too close to the toes for comfort. The leather under the buckle completely covers my smallest toe and half of the next smallest, so when I step it digs into the top of my toes. The fit of the regular Arizona strap is at the base of my toes, not covering any of them and does not dig in. Too bad Birkenstock did not position the strap the same. One other unusual feature to be aware of: the interior (of the white at least) is a smooth leather instead of the typical suede.

Awkward fit- the sides were uncomfortable against the outside of my foot, the footbed too long but the buckles on their tightest were still loose. They are great looking and I really wanted to keep them, but the fit just wasn't right.

Even though they are listed as N the advice was that they fit a M but I did not feel this was the case. The big buckle was too shiny and cheap looking for the weathered look leather. I returned and ordered regular soft bed Birks which I love.

I will keep the shoes but not happy that I accepted narrow width because supplies are limited at present.

I wear a small size and I thought the big buckles would be fun, but they're way out of proportion with my feet! Going with the same shoe, little buckles.

Even when buckled, they didn't really hold my foot in place. And those buckles are big.

To big but was shocked that the narrow fit me!
