My favorite birks yet! I have 5 different pairs of different styles and these were the most comfortable right out of the box with zero break in period like 2 of my others (Madrids and Franca). No break in for my Gizeh's (2nd favorite pair) and Barbados (rubber) either. I believe the no break in period is because of the nubuck leather, its almost like suede (very soft, very pliable). I think all birks are comfy but the soft footbed are just a bit more so. This is also the first pair that are narrow and they do make a difference for me. My feet are in between narrow and medium and I don't typically get narrow shoes, but birks are a tad wide on me so I decided to give these a try. The only difference with narrow is the look. The comfort level is the same since they mold to your feet either way. I am someone who really struggles to find shoes with good support. I have bad knees, torn hip and arthritis in my lower back so good shoes are vital and birks are always reliable for me. As with all birks, they are not meant to get wet (except the barbados and other rubbery ones) so if you want them to last, keep them dry. I'm a true 7-7.5 (7 in most shoes, 7.5 in running sneakers) and EU 38 fits perfect!

I wanted to love these but even in the narrower width they were still too wide for my feet. Even with the straps as tight as possible my feet were still sliding. So disappointed.

I am not usually a Birkenstock fan, but these shoes feel really good on my feet. I am amazed with their comfort. I am in love with the color too.

Love these soft footbed Birkenstocks! The color is great for spring that can be worn with skirts, dresses, shorts or pants. Very comfortable right out of the box!

Little big. But keeping. Could have gone down to a 38 from 39. Have adjusted to the tightest hole. Color is an amazing soft blue. Usually wear a 39 in Birks.

I wear a women’s size 9. I received a size 9, 40 (according to the box). My feet are not wide and I always wear a medium width. This shoe was only available in narrow. I took a chance and they fit perfectly. I’m glad I opted to go for the narrow. The quality is great. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

The one thing that irks me about these shoes is that even though they are "narrow" the straps are the same as if they were a wide shoe. If you have narrow feet like me, you end up using the very last hole in them. I wish they would alter them such that the straps were actually designed for a narrow foot! Darn Germans!

I just got these, but so far I love them. I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis and lingering heel pain for over a year. This is the first pair of shoes that I have put on in a long time that immediately feel comfortable and do not seem to aggravate the sore spot in my heel. I'm hoping they will only become more comfortable with wear. I wear an 8.5 narrow shoe normally, and the 39 narrow works great for me. I almost sized down based on other reviews, but I'm glad that I did not. The orchid is a pretty color.

Sadly Birkenstock has changed the sizing of the narrow/medium fit to be much narrower than when this size originally came out. I can no longer comfortably wear these. When this size was first added, I could wear either width but either my foot has changed or the sizing has and I'm pretty sure it's the sizing as I still fit other brands of shoes as normal.

Not very cushioned

I am on the medium side of narrow formerly narrow, but I did a great deal of barefoot dance at university and my job requires a great deal of time on my feet. I have 1 foot 6.5 and another 6. I felt this was too large in length. I wear a keen Newport H2 insize 7 women’s and A classic croc clog in 7 women’s. Size 37 was perfect. I have a terrible time with fit, so I only wear certain styles of a brand.

I bought a pair of lime green because they were on sale. Been fighting plantar fasciitis for a few months and my old birkenstocks weren't feeling good at all. When I tried the new green ones on, I realized how much the soft footbed had compressed in my old birkenstocks. I've ordered a second pair. They will be great around the house--get me through PF. Feel so much better than the old ones.

Beautiful color, soft suede. I ordered my usual Birksize 39 but these were a little short. I also have others narrow-med width in this size which fit perfectly.

Best sandals available anywhere. Love the soft footbed and the suede; comfortable for painful feet. Thanks for carrying Birkenstock sandals!

Perfect for the casual days of summer!

The shoes are great, I do love a birk. And although these are as comfy as all the others, they squeak! Still worth wearing, I keep hoping it will go away but it hasn’t yet.

I am new to Birkenstock! After researching sizing, I realized I needed to compare two. Determined that I need a euro size 39.5. :( But I am keeping the 40 because I want to ease of a slipper around the house but still appropriate for trips to town. Plus, I love the feel of the footbed. (Hints at Vionic's.)

These are great shoes, very comfy. Planning to take on trip to Europe this summer.

Beautiful shoes, but too tight on my bunion foot. I thought the width would give a little, but it wouldn't.

I order the narrow and they are perfect. The gray is a great color!

These sandals fit great with very little break-in time. Took them on vacation and they felt good!

These are so cute! I initially ordered the regular width but they were too wide, so I exchanged for the Narrow, and they fit perfectly!

I have narrow feet and wear a size 8 to 8.5 shoe. Size 38 Birkenstocks are a perfect fit. I was able to get these in narrow with the soft bed. I have been wearing them everywhere with no break in needed. I also like the soft buckles.
