I wear a 6.5, but for slides need to size up to 7 so right heel hits inside shoe instead of on edge so I ordered a 7-7.5, they were too big. So I bought 6-6.5, still too big. I have now just given up on this shoe. I like the style, but I need them to fit too.

The color was disappointing. More olive green. The fit was awful. Birkenstock needs to make more women's sizes and not unisex. If you get the regular unisex, they're too big and if you get the narrow unisex, they're too narrow. I ordered the 8-8-1/2 unisex size and they were almost a size too big. All around disappointing.

Size was good but adjusted buckles to tighten as width feels wide. Love the soft suede and color (Taupe).

These are FAKES. Don’t bother with getting these from Amazon or Zappos. Obvious glue clumps on the suede 1oz heavier per shoe than real Birks and cheap hard plastic soles that are slippery I’m disappointed because it’s such a waste of my time. I’ve tried three ways to get Birks on sale: REI: they only carry narrow width Amazon: FAKE ZAppos: FAKE

Every so often I see someone wearing this classic Birkenstock and I think "I should try those, they look so comfortable!" And so I order a pair, put them on, and take them off. They are not comfortable on me, and they just look like duck feet. I really should never try them again! Memo to self....

Two right shoes were delivered..

This is no reflection on Zappos who sold the shoe - the Birkenstock arizona soft suede straps. The straps allow no ease of slipping into them thanks to the limp wimpy suede straps. they don't hold any shape but collapse flat into the footbed leaving your toes the challenge of lifting two straps . Good luck as Marcus from Trepoilla said. The picture does not represent the shoe and my bad I didn't investigate further and only after wearing them for a few days did I discover my error

One problem Zappos must address is the inability to update prior reviews. That said, I felt compelled to write this as an addendum after living with these shoes for a while now. The quality of the product is excellent as expected. My rating is due to the tendency of the sandals to slip off my feet, often at inopportune moments. Even at their tightest strap setting, they still slip off. I even went so far as to punch holes further down to get them tighter, but still they slip off once in a while. This makes them basically unwearable, which is a great waste of money, and a learning experience. I subsequently purchased an inexpensive pair of sandals with a strap around the heel, and wear them all the time. On the rare occasion I put the Birkenstocks on, I regret it all over again.

Unisex in my (ladies) regular size 7 was too large. I returned the item. I won't try unisex again.

I was told to order a size smaller than what I normally wear, but that was still too big. Also, the term “soft footbed” is just not true, not even the slightest bit soft. I’ve always thought Birkenstock’s were hideous as far as there style, but was willing to give them a try for comfort. fortunately they were the most uncomfortable sandal I’ve ever tried on, so I never have to look down at them on my feet.

I have been buying Birkenstocks for many years and have always bought the same size which fit perfectly. These however were at least two sizes too large in spite of being marked with the correct size. Also, the sole appears to be be some kind of cheap plastic. I am very disappointed with the quality considered the price.

Way to big. 2 sizes to big.

I returned this shoe once to change size, but have never gotten it right. It works its way off my foot when I walk. I don't understand since Berkenstock has such a reputation, and for this shoe especially. I have kept it but really can't wear it.

I give up. This is the 3rd pair I’ve ordered. I can’t seem to get a pair that the straps fit on the tightest hole. The last pair, left fit perfect and right was super loose. Apparently I need to go into a store to actually try on before I buy.

Felt like wearing a man's shoe - and I'm not man. I've been wearing Birkenstock Arizona for many years and these feel big and clumsy. Had extra strep holes punched in. Barely helped but now can't return.

Straps are too loose. I can’t order narrow because my foot doesn’t fit correctly in them. The last 3 pairs of regular width, straps are too loose. I’m not ordering again due to this problem.

Well I was sent two left shoes that were different colors!!!! I guess I don’t have to Say much more than that.

Didn't even try these on, these looked worn out the suede looked worn on the sides and there was a stain on the sole, gross, for the price I expect new shoes, not returns. Returned!

I have these exact Birkenstocks that I bought about a year ago in a different color. I wanted to get another pair and they are about 1 inch wider. Of course they need to be returned. I guess there is no standard sizing in the shoes. I’m so disappointed.

Too big. I do not consider my self to have a narrow size foot so I ordered the normal size. Way too wide. Go with a narrow fit.

My foot is pretty wide so I went with the wider fit. I hate these sandals and I wish I never purchased them because they give me blisters. I thought they would be super comfortable, but I’ll never purchase them again.

Your box label said 42 (the size I ordered but the sandals inside were size 41. Amazed Zappo's didn't catch this.

While the size and width were fine, I found it too hard and inflexible to be comfortable so I will be returning these for credit.
