I caved and finally jumped on the Birkenstock band wagon. My feet are happy I did not wait any longer. Right out of the box these were super comfortable. I took them on vacation and wore them constantly without any problems. I am happy I purchased the soft footbed since it adds some extra cushioning. They look great with jeans or shorts.

Not only am I extremely satisfied with the sandals that I purchased, but the service and speed that my needs were taken care of was the best ever. I would not even consider shopping somewhere else.

My old Birkenstocks lasted for years, and I hope these will as well. They take some getting used to, as I have low arches, but I know from experience that they will feel great before long.

I absolutely love these shoes! My second pair of Birkenstocks! They are the most comfortable and sturdy pair of sandles I've ever owned! They do run bigger, I normally wear a women's size 8 but have to get 37 (6-6 1/2) for fit in Birks.

I love Birks but can only wear certain styles that don't bother my bunions, corns or whatever. The Arizona has always been a favorite...I return to the style every time! I also have a high arch and metatarsal problems so I need support. I used to buy the hard footbed but at 70, I find I can't break them in so the soft footbed is wonderful!

I've been wearing Birkenstock sandals for more than 3 decades. They're the BEST! The Zappos website offered a pair for only $80 (they list for $130 -- worth the price, but why not save $50?). I received them in just 4 days, and they fit perfectly! I'm very happy with them!!!

This is my second pair of the Arizona Soft Footbed. I've been wearing the original Arizona for decades. The Soft Footbed does provide more comfort, though I have found that after a few months of wear there really isn't much of a difference, particularly if you wear them with socks. Still, for arch support they seem to provide even more support that the regular foot bed. If you are a first time Birkenstock customer, I would think that the Soft Footbed would be a good choice as it requires absolutely no adjustment period at all. Arizonas are the single most comfortable shoe.The "Regular" width is really a wide (I generally wear a double wide, but even with my foot I can wear a Narrow in this shoe. If you have never worn an Arizona, you don't know what you are missing!

I got these for my boyfriend. All he wears in Birkenstocks...even in the winter! He loves them. The soft sole is comfortable.

Shoe is lovely....my feet are not. The size down was a bit short, and these feel a little long. I also had to put shoe on tightest notch and almost felt I needed to punch another hole to be comfortable without a sock on. Makes me very sad to have to send these back.

I bought this for shoe for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves it. This is his second pair. I also have a pair myself and love them. They are comfortable since your foot shapes the shoe bed after wear (that's why they are so popular; molds to your foot). If you take care of them they can last a very long time. I am now in law school but purchased them my senior year in high school ( so 5 years) still in great shape.

I bought Birkenstocks for my son for Christmas! They came so quickly and were JUST what I wanted for him. The only problem was, I had ordered the wrong size. Turned out the return process is SO easy and he will have a new pair in the correct size in two days. I couldn't be happier! Thanks, Zappos!

Love them. They are comfortable with and without socks. The soft grey color goes with everything. I'll probably buy again in another color.

This was my first time ordering the soft footbed and I was very pleased with the extra comfort they provided. Even though they do cost more, they are worth it. Great service from Zappos as usual.

Once I had bought a pair of soft footbed Birkies I never wanted anything else. I don't have diabetes, but they are so nice and comfortable that it made no sense to buy the regular footbed.

The Arizona with the soft footbed is very comfortable. Best of all, it comes in a narrow in the larger sizes and it has adjustable straps so I was able to make it fit my narrow foot. The only problem is I thought their sizing ran a bit small, and I wish they had half sizes as I really needed something just a bit smaller.

My son loves these shoes and wears them all the time. The soft footbed is the only way to go! Zappos is the best!

This is my third pair of Birkenstock Arizonas, but the first ones in suede and with the soft footbed. I’m a size 10 with a narrow, low volume foot, and the 40 Narrow fits perfectly. I got the Jasper suede, and the color is more sand color and less warm than in the picture, but still nice. I like the lighter color on my bare foot, it looks a little less masculine than the dark brown. I really like the soft footbed, its very comfortable but not too much cushion, and it has the added benefit of taking up some of the room when you have a low volume foot. The suede is really soft and broke in very quickly, and it has a very low nap, so it's almost like the nubuck. My only issue is that the buckle is attached with metal staples that are a bit rough and rubbed the top of my foot, so I put a piece of moleskin over them on the inside and that made the shoes a lot more comfortable. (I haven’t had to do this with my two previous pairs.) I wish all my shoes were this comfortable!

I had tried a few Birkenstock sandals, but they just didn't feel right. The straps rubbed or they were just too stiff. These were perfect! I was concerned the soft footbed wouldn't be firm enough to keep my arch...but it's perfect. They honestly are more comfortable than my slippers because of the support they give. While I wasn't sure they'd be that cute...I actually think they are really cute. I love the soft suede which doesn't rub like the leather did. I love them and am now looking for a pair of closed Birkenstocks for winter time.

Most comfortable sandals ever! But order narrow unless your feet are very very wide, and order at least a half size smaller than your usual shoe size.

After 15 years of daily wear I had to replace my old Birkenstocks. I love wearing Birkenstocks, they are so comfortable.

I had to finally replace these shoes of some 20 years plus of wear and tear. They were so comfortable with or without socks still fit without having to adjust the straps. They are great shoe overall. Best of all they are a product that I can buy from Zappos. I love this company. I wish that I could buy everything I buy from them. Hands down the best operations I have ever dealt with. Friendly, fast, fairly priced, fully stocked. I could go on and on and on. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write a review.

I used to wear Birkenstock years ago, but they got too expensive for me. Then I decided to try them again when I couldn't find any other sandals that fit my narrowish, thin feet. I got the narrow size and they fit perfectly (thanks to Zappos for carrying this size option). They are supper comfortable and don't fall off my feet like all other sandals tend to do, and yet I can slip right into and out of them. I will probably buy a second pair soon.

I never thought it would be possible for Birkenstock to improve on the original Arizona sandal, but they did. The soft footbed is much more comfortable and gives more support than the original footbed. That is important if you have issues with pain that can make wearing sandals painful, if not impossible. I'd stopped wearing sandals, then tried this and now I'm back in them. A wonderful sandal. Extremely comfortable.

Great fit. Easy to break in because it has the "soft footbed" the color may not be for everyone. More faded black than gray. I love them!

These shoes are great. I originally ordered a size 39 as I have always worn a 39 (and sometimes a 40) in this sizing. However, the 39 was way too large. I returned the size 39, ordered a size 38, and they fit perfectly.
