Super comfortable! These required no break-in time. The footbed is amazingly soft & cradles your foot. They look great & feel even better!

I have tried to wear Birkenstock sandals before as everyone said they were so comfortable. Not for me! Way too hard and the arches were too high. The soft footbed has changed almost everything about these shoes. They are so comfy and soft, I wear them all the time. I hope Birkenstock makes the soft footbed in their other styles but I doubt the thong type sandals will feel as great as these do. Get the narrow width if you usually wear a normal width shoe and they do run a little big.

This is my first pair of Birky's. Took a little to get used to but once the break in period was done they are super comfortable.

I was literally so happy that the Birkenstock trend popped back up just in time for a summer pregnancy. I wore Birkenstocks all the time as a teenager and loved how great they were for my feet. Now, at 6 months pregnant, these are perfect, especially with the soft footbed. I originally tried the Gizeh style because they are a 'sexier' Birkenstock...but the soft footbed on these sealed the deal. I intend on wearing these everywhere possible for the rest of the summer/next three months. I couldn't be happier with the comfort level on these. Also, I ordered the Velvet Grey Suede. The color is really lovely -- not as severe as black. It does have a slightly blue tone to it, but they are a great dark neutral hue.

Love these. I was afraid they would be too grey but these are really a soft black. Nice and comfy, so glad I bought them! Oh, and I bought them in narrow width which fit perfectly and I have pretty wide feet for a girl.

Love, love, love these sandals! I have had so many problems with my feet in the past couple years that I couldn't wear any sandals at all. These have solved my problems. I've been wearing them for about a month and have no foot pain!

Love these Birks!!! I had a similar pair many years ago but they were the "regular" width and always felt just a little too loose... These are perfect. I have an average width foot and generally like my shoes to fit to my feet so that I'm not working so hard to keep track of them while walking. I hate the feeling of having my shoes slip around! If you feel the same, give them a try!

Great! They are so comfortable. I went with normal width and I think I could have gone narrow.

I wanted to write a review because when I was looking to order these I was a little confused. I am always a (women's) size 5. In European sizes that's normally a 35 which is what I ordered in these. My confusion was that they say that's a women's size 4 to 4 1/2 which I never am. However, with a lot of the reviews I saw saying these ran so huge I went ahead and ordered the 35's. I was really hoping these wouldn't be too big as there was no smaller size to go to and I didn't want to order children's ones because they're never as comfortable (& the soft footbed wasn't an option in the kids). I am happy to say these fit very well so going off the 35 size I'd say they are true to my size. However, if you are looking at the size 4 to 4 1/2 part, well these fit me just right and I'm normally a size 5 so I'd say they run a little big. So, women, I'd recommend ordering your normal European size (size 5 is a 35 size 6 is a 36 & so on). I did take the recommendation of a lot of reviewers and ordered the narrow and it's not too narrow at all. I was a little concerned about this as I have regular width feet and unfortunately a bunion on my right foot which makes it seem even wider. But since everyone talked about how wide this shoe is and since it's a unisex shoe and since I wanted to get the smallest option hoping these wouldn't be too big I went ahead and ordered the 35 narrow and it's wonderful. The soft footbed is worth the extra money for sure and the suede upper made it to where there was no breaking in necessary, they are heavenly right out of the box. I got the mocha color and like that not much dirt will show therefore they will look nice for a long time and go with a lot! I love Zappos and was trying to order these from them as I usually do; however, they were out of the 35 N when I was ready to order so I ordered directly from the Birkenstock website. Wasn't as fast as Zappos (ordered on a Friday night and received them Thursday afternoon) but at least the shipping was free too! And they were the same price. I will order again from Zappos in the future of course (my top pick) if my size is available (I already assume I'll order more Birkenstocks as they are so comfy); however, if your size isn't available the Birkenstock website is a good option to have. I didn't trust ordering them from amazon because I was worried they may not always have the real deal (like fake Birkenstocks). Anyways these are expensive but extremely comfortable and for my small, problem feet they are worth it I'd say!

This review is about sizes which seems to be a huge problem for many. I'm usually a 6-6.5 and 35 is perfect for me. My feet are a bit wide (due to bunions - womp) but not so wide that I've had to purchase wide width shoes -- thank goodness because I don't think any regular brands that I purchase from have anything besides a normal width! Anyway, they feel comfy and are stiff, but will probably be amazing after breaking in.

I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur on the bottom of my foot. I wear a size 9m in most brands. After reading reviews and suggestions, I ordered a size 39m. These fit really perfect, especially after adjusting the straps. I really love these and glad I bought them to the suggestion of two of my doctor friends. These do form to my feet with no "flip" or "flop" so my toes won't be struggling to to keep my shoes on my feet. Love these!

Comfortable, fast shipping, and availability. Zappos was the only site I could find these shoes (including Birkenstock's website). Shipping is fast with no hassles and the shoe is comfortable! I wore them most days while on vacation in Europe with no discomfort. I didn't even really attempt to break them in before. I usually wear a size 7 (would lean more towards a 6.5 instead of 7.5, if necessary) so the size 37 was the best fit. Many charts will tell you to go with size 38 if you wear a 7 -- I tried this and the shoes were way to big and bulky. Also, unless you have a very wide foot, and would have to typically seek out wide sizes, go with the narrow.

Love them! So comfy! I have wider feet, so I need to buy the unisex option from Birkenstock so that my toes don't hit the rounded edges. I do think they take a little bit of time to wear in (a few blisters at first) but they are great!

I've ordered Birkenstock's for years and years. I love them. Great fit and Zappos is the perfect place to order them. I wear them year round, living in So. CA.

These are awesome. This brand is usually hard on the bottom of my feet. With the soft sole and suede, I'll have these forever. I wear size 7 and they were to loose. They would have stretched out in a short time so I had to return my narrow size 38 (easy, thanks Zappos) for a size 37 narrow and they fit perfectly. I recommend these 100%!

These ran quite large. I have never purchased before so I purchased the shoe size I normally wear. They were huge. I purchased a pair for my daughter who is 1 and a half sizes smaller and hers were perfect. Hope this helps.

I have very wide feet and always wear a European size 40 or a US 9 and I always buy wide widths if I can find them. With these, I tried my usual size, 9 wide, but they were huge. I returned them for a 8 narrow and they fit perfectly, with buckles in the tightest holes. I have a high instep but the arches in these are a little uncomfortable which I was able to mitigate by using a clear gel insole. My only complaint is the black suede dye transfers onto my skin so my feet look dirty after wearing.

To my boyfriend's dismay, I've been wearing the original Birk forever. And the only thing better is the original Birk with a Soft Footbed! No break-in time, super comfy out of the box. Curious to see how they wear compared to the originals, but loving them now. And as always - love the fabulous Zappos service! A win-win.

Got exactly what I ordered. I have a really narrow foot and high arch, and they fit great so far. I have developed one blister on the inside of my left foot that seems to be part of the "breaking in" process. Other than that, they are great.

These are extremely comfortable. My first pair of Birk's and definitely not my last. I was able to try these on in the store but only Zappos had them in my size and color. Definitely order the narrow if your a regular width. I generally wear a size 8 regular but ordered the 7 narrow and they fit like the Women's version in the store. Thanks Zappos you guys are amazing!

I absolutely love these shoes! I have had my left knee replaced and my right knee has been replaced twice, so support and proper alignment are very important to me. I used to love my 3" heels, but they have all been donated to the Goodwill. Comfort is important to me and these soft footbed Arizona sandals fit the bill. I have them in black, gray and pink. They look good with socks or without. These are the perfect airport shoes, because you can slip them off, walk through security with your socks on and then toss the socks in your bag. I have many Birkie sandals, some with soft footbed and others with the old traditional footbed. They are all comfortable and supportive, but the soft footbed is a real treat, albeit a bit more expensive.

Love these shoes. They of course are not very pretty but sure do meet all the needs I have for a comfortable shoe. Love them!

Not only do these sandals look awesome, they have great arch support. I wear custom orthotics due to my plantar fasciitis and low arches. I took a chance with the Birkenstock Arizona Soft Footbed and it paid off! Got tired of buying imitation Birkenstocks each year which only lasted a year. These sandals look great with either Jeans or Cargo shorts!

The Birkenstock Arizona is my favorite comfort shoe of all times next to my running sneakers! I have weak arches, so I have to wear a shoe with good arch support. Love that they have come fashion forward this year! As many reviewers have said, this shoe is great.

Thes are my second pair of Birkenstocks and they are the best shoes I have ever purchased. I will only ever buy the soft footbed because they are so comfortable. They are pricy but they are worth every penny, I absolutely love my Birkenstocks and zappos like always was quick and efficient.
