I definitely went to a brick and mortar store to try on different styles. The Mayari's fit much better than the Arizona's. Probably because they're narrower. I'm in my 20's and just got diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. After getting used to the higher arch support that my doctor encouraged me to find (getting used to the new shoes took several weeks), these shoes have been excellent. My feet still ache at the end of the day but I can go much longer without pain than before. I do have strange sensations in my feet if I wear these too early in the day. I basically need to wake my feet up and stretch while wearing a softer footbed shoe. But if I don't feel the weird tingly sensation before leaving the house, then I'm good all day. These shoes also don't aggravate my bunions, which is all extremely important. I looooove the blue leather, although I do think they are darker than the picture here suggests. These shoes are some of the prettiest Birks I've seen.

I ordered the Mayari in the tobacco leather. I previously owned a pair in the birkoflor material and the toe strap ripped out after 2 years of hard wear. I didn't want that to happen again and opted to go for the real leather. If you have worn the birkoflor, the leather is a drastically different breaking period. The first time I wore them I thought my big toes might fall off and the straps left crisscrosses right on the joint. After 3-4 wears the sole began to form more to my foot and I stopped having the problem with the texture. I think it is important to note that all of the straps on the shoe will feel extremely rough for the first few wears until the leather gives a bit more.

Love these!! They are comfortable and really cute...not the typical Berk look. I have had several ankle surgeries and they provide great stability and support for my foot. I will be getting another pair!

Love the look of these. I ordered stone the first time but it wasn't the light brown I was looking for. Reordered them in Mocha and love the color. The unisex Birks I order a narrow but these I ordered regular and they fit great.

I have been wearing this Mayari sandal and like the support. So, I decided to get a color that would be dressier than the colors I now have. I think it will be perfect for what I wanted. I am also happy that some colors of the Mayari sandals come in narrow width for my narrow foot.

I love the color of these. It’s called taupe but it looks more like champagne. This style is new for me. I normally buy the thong style and just wanted something different this summer. So happy I got them!

My favorite Birkenstock style. These look nice and not as clunky as the Arizona's. The fit well and wear great. I only wish they made this with the soft sole.

Excellent fit overall - maybe a bit narrow but otherwise great!

These fit true to size and are super comfortable! They held up to the test of teaching and walking on hard floors and are easy to slip on and off! The thinner straps made these a little less casual looking and allowed me to wear them with skirts, dresses, shorts and pants (at both school and home). I recently purchased a second pair in a different color!

I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 medium width in a normal shoe. I ordered 39 and it was perfect.

I bought these for my wife for Mother's Day. I was so excited that I gave them to her early. She loves them. They are very comfortable and look great too.

I am usually a size 8.5, however I have the 38 (size 7) in these and they fit absolutely perfect! This is my second pair of these sandals in this style and I wear them everywhere, with almost everything (except dresses :)) On top of the fantastic sandals, Zappos is my go-to for buying shoes and clothes!!

I like the style of these Birks but Stone was more of a gray color. I was hoping for a light brown. I sent them back and ordered a different color, Mocha. Hopefully it'll be the color I want.

Usually wear an 8...but all of the Birkenstock’s I’ve had I wear a 38 (7-7.5). Take a few days to break in but super comfy after!

This style of Birkenstock is my favorite. But, the color is not a true white, it's more of gray. I sent them back as I was looking for a true, bright white.

I normally wear an 7.5/8, the 38 fits great! I have high arches and was on my feet all day- very comfy!

Fit is great and true to size. I'm a true 7.5 and it fits like a glove. The toe bed is pretty wide, so I would recommend a narrow foot bed unless you are truly a wide size.

Fits true to size. I’m an 8.5 and I got the 39 regular. I got these Bc I wanted sandals with arch support and these have it! The style is nice too. I wanted someone more feminine and the Mayari is exactly that! The stone color is pretty too.

First, it was a little uncomfortable, but once they were broken in I wore them every day

As someone who has very wide feet and high arches, Birkenstocks will forever be a winning shoe. Can’t beat the price ($100 for shoes that will last a decade or more!) and you especially can’t beat the comfort. They fit as expected and this style in particular is one of the cutest ones Birk makes.

Fits like a dream and as other Birkenstocks do. It’s one of the best styles the brand makes, in my opinion. I have very wide feet and very high arches, and Birkenstocks continue to be my all time favorite shoe. They fit very well, last forever, and this style in particular is beautiful! Very happy with my purchase!

Perfect sandals. Comfortable. Cradles my feet like they were made just for me. No break in time needed. Haven’t worn Birks in many years. They still meet all the expectations you have for this brand. Would highly recommend.
