I didn't think I would like the strap between the toes, but it is hardly noticable, and I am sure will become even less so as the leather is broken in. These shoes are fabulously supportive and comfortable. I have feet ravaged by rheumatoid arthritis and it is not easy to find something that works for my poor little piggies. This style really does the trick, and allows for swelling, as well as fit comfortably when the joints in my feet are not inflamed.

This is my first pair of Birkies in 20 years. I decided to get a pair because I liked the style and color. They are incredibly comfortable! So much so that I ordered another pair in the same style but different color. I have my eye on another color too. However, I will try to restrain myself for a few weeks??. The podiatrist told me I have to wear quality shoes because, after years of wearing ill-fitting shoes, my feet are paying the price.

When a strap broke on my old pair of Birkenstock Mayari, I had to immediately order a new pair so that I did not have to go more than a day without my go-to sandal! I practically live in this sandal for 3/4 of the year! I have feet that need great support. This sandal delivers! It’s perfect!

My newest favorite sandal!! They are very comfortable and go with every summer outfit from shorts and a tee to a summer dress..

I originally ordered the 8-8.5 US women’s size. I had to return them for the 7-7.5 US women’s size. I recommend measuring your foot to size your foot based of the Birkenstock’s website. It said I would fit in the 6-6.5 US women’s size. But I decided to order up a size. I tend to wear 8 to 8.5 wide shoes. The regular width fit perfectly.

Love these! I just got back into wearing Birkenstocks and forgot how much my feet love them. After trying on the Gizeh (ouch - that toe divider) and the Arizona soft footbed (soooo comfortable), I ended up keeping the Mayaris because they're way more comfortable than the Gizehs and less bulky-looking than the Arizonas. I bought the antique lace color and they seem like they will go with a lot - very versatile.

They are some of the best sandals ever!!

This is second pair of Mayari. I got them in black last year (my first Birks), and once they became comfortable, they were super comfy. The blue is really pretty and will go with my navy dress, and skirt, but are also neutral enough to wear with most colors. I'd like a pair of the silver, but will probably wait till next year.

They were comfortable right out of the box. I love how they look on my feet.

Mayari is my favorite sandal and my newest pair is the blue oiled leather, a very dark blue color. These sandals are so comfortable, I literally wear them everywhere. My only wish would be that Birkenstock made these in narrow width - I am size 9.5 and have to order down (39 instead of 40) because the regular width is too wide for my foot.

So cute! I have a narrow foot and the adjustable straps allow me to customize the fit for my needs.

I usually wear an 8 these are for 7-7 1/2 And they fit perfectly. Super comfortable shoes. This is my first pair of Birkenstock’s and I love them!! So cute!!!

I usually wear a size 8.5 or 9 in sandals and I went a half size down and so glad I did. I bought the 39 which is a size 8-8.5 they are perfect!

It took me two tries to find the right size. I wear an 8 in most shoes normally so I ordered the 39 in these shoes. They were way too big. Sent them back and ordered the 38 and they fit perfectly.

Takes a day or to to break in as they start molding to my feet. They feel great and love the slip on feature which makes them easy around the house or out and about. They are pretty so can go to church with a dress or dress down with anything. I wear Birkenstocks around the house also for support. I got the narrow as I am tall and feet are narrow so they fit great. Over time I can adjust the buckle if needed.

Very nice, but took a few days to make sure they were ok. I love the soles on these; they feel like they are massaging my feet when I'm resting/ just standing or sitting. . Very cute on!

Very pleased with the Birkenstock Mayari. Haven't owned a pair of Birkis in many years, drifted away from them, don't remember why, but decided to get another pair and am so pleased they haven't changed their comfort and style! Happily, no break-in period was needed, the arch support is super, and they look great with just about everything!

This is my 1st pair of Birkenstock's (I'm 50). I have flat, wide feet and a bunion. During the summer, I usually wear my Vionic flip flops. I decided to look for a summer sandal that would give more overall foot and ankle support for walking and travel. I believe the Mayari is going to be what I need. Felt great right out of box. I usually wear a 9 1/2 Wide. The size 40 fits perfectly. Although, when I tried on the Tobacco (leather straps vs Birko Flor), it was a looser fit and had to adjust the straps by a couple holes. Was looking for a color that wasn't too dark or too light and decided on the Stone color. It's just right and still a very neutral color.

This is my 3rd pair of Mayari. I love my Birks! I have extremely high arches and these are the most comfortable sandals for arch support for me. I spent 12 days walking around Paris recently and wore the same pair of Birks the whole trip, my feet never felt sore or tired. This new pair has been great, no break in period, can walk around feeling like I'm wearing my old pair. I like this style, it's light weight, the straps don't rub or pull on my skin and there isn't any 'flip flop' with each step. It's like being barefoot, but better! I usually wear a 7-71/2 US, but I get these in a 37.

It took a bit to get the correct size, but it was well worth it! My feet are size 7.5, medium width, although I sometimes size up in athletic shoes and typically order a 39 with European sizing. Based on other reviews, I sized down (38) and ordered the narrow width. Those sandals *just* fit and were perhaps too small. I returned those and reordered a size 38 in the regular width -- perfect fit! It took a few days to break the sandals in, and now they are very comfortable.

super comfortable, look great on the foot. The oiled leather did leave some color on the foot at initial wearings, but it washed off easily

I wear an 8.5 and have a narrow foot. I ordered both the 39 and the 40 Mayari. The 39 is a smidge short (I have long toes!) but the 40 was too big all the way around. The toe strap on the 40 was way big. I kept the 39, even though I don't think the fit is quite perfect. It seems that the footbed contours fit my feet, but I wish they were just a bit longer to accommodate my toes. The narrow width is perfect. I'm still breaking them in, but so far so good! This is my first pair of Birks!

I have a Morton’s Neuroma. If I wear these 24/7 I am no longer in pain.
