The styles/colors in narrow are Limited so I ordered a pair in the medium width and just tightened The straps a little bit more and they fit as good as the narrow ones

I love these! It took me a little while to get used to my first pair (black), and then couldn't resist getting in navy, too, a year later. I want more colors, but will try to restrain myself to one a year...we'll see how it goes

I typically wear a 7.5 and the size was perfect. The leather straps have a nice cream shine to them.

Having a half size shoe made the size a challenge, but I found it! Definitely recommend using that measurement foot they give. Regular width makes such a difference!

I was surprised to learn that I wore a 37 (US 6-6.5) in Birkenstocks because I usually run US 7-7.5, but can sometimes go smaller depending on the shoe. After two years with a knockoff Mayari sandal, I decided it was time to pull the trigger and get me the real deal. I love my new Birks. They still need some breaking in, but I'm glad I got the leather uppers, since they seem to be softening up pretty quick. Shipping was super quick -- I ordered Saturday evening, was quoted the following Thursday or Friday for the delivery date, but they came early on Monday. That was the most pleasant surprise of the whole experience :)

I was made nervous about the sizing because of all the back and forth discussion on here about the shoes being too big/narrow/wide etc. based on the change from US sizing, so even though I'm almost always a true size 10, only occasionally a 9.5, I first ordered a 41 Narrow thinking that might be a good middle ground just to be safe. This was a mistake- I shouldn't have over thought it so much and just ordered my size, which I exchanged it for and ended up fitting perfectly. I love these shoes, they're my first pair of Birkenstocks and they're already the best sandle purchase I've ever made. They're extremely comfortable and supportive, and this style makes them stylish enough that I feel comfortable wearing them for almost everything casual.

These are super comfortable, much more so than the thong style that has that irritating piece of plastic instead of leather between the toes. I love these and have been wearing them nonstop since they arrived. They are pretty true to size and look cute with a sundress or shorts. I'm wearing them at work with some wide-legged, calf-length pants.

When I first started wearing them my legs and knees hurt because I have flat feet. So I would wear them for awhile each day for over a week. Now they are comfortable with no pain in my legs and like them a lot.

I wear a size 9 and have some difficulty with European sizes. These may be slightly big for me but I tried a 39 and my heel was nearly hanging out. Overall please with fit and comfort. These are my first Birkenstocks. They felt a little awkward at first but you get used to them in a day or so.

I never really liked the style/look of the classic Birkenstock’s. Now that they have some different styles I thought I would give them a try. I first purchased the Madrid in the EVA and regular sole. They Madrid EVA was way too narrow. The regular sole Madrid was just okay looking. The fit was nice but the style was just, eh. I then purchased the Mayari in the stone color. I love the color and was not sure about the fit, at first. I thought they might be too small. The more I wear them the more the sole forms to my foot and the less it looks like they might be too small. They are super comfy and I really love the style. They are comfort of Birkenstock’s without the traditional look.

Great fit and wonderful look. I have been wearing Birks since 1992 and wear them everyday. They are great for bad feet.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I am on my feet all day at work and these shoes feel good all day long!

Love these Birks. I was skeptical on style and comfort, but after a brief breaking in, I’m a fan for life. Even grabbed my husband a pair! Also-Zappos customer service is amazing. And they didn’t pay me to say this. Customer for life here!!

Love these Birks! They are the second pair I have ever owned, the other was the Arizona. They fit wonderfully and look great. Also love the fast shipping from Zappos!

I love love love the Birkenstock Mayari style. I would buy all colors if I could! These are a great basic (I got a sandy grey color whose name is escaping me) and so comfortable. I don’t usually like thong type sandals that have a vertical piece between the toes. On this shoe, the toe wrap neither chafes nor is annoying, and is great for stabilizing the sandal on my foot. Also, the diagonal line makes these birds look less clumpy/wide than all the other ones I’ve owned. Not that I care, I wear them anyway but still, these are very flattering on my foot. I think they are the best sandals Birkenstock makes.

Just a great toe ring sandal for a C width foot. I normally wear a size 10 so the 41/10 fit perfectly. Many times the toe ring is tight or just doesn't fit really short toes. What a beautiful fit. My left hip has been hurting for a while, and this has helped to alleviate the pain. Also I love the suede innersole. My feet perspire in the summer and these are just so much more comfortable because my feet don't slip around. They did take some break in time for my right foot. The buckle hit the bottom of my little toe, but is getting better as the leather is softening up. The color Lilac is just gorgeous. It has been a while for me and Birkenstocks. Glad i made the switch back.

I love these sandals! They are super comfortable and look really nice on. My only caveat is that I they were are a little big. I am between a 7 & 7.5, ordered the 7-7.5 but they feel slightly big. Not a big deal though, I just tightened the straps. Would definitely buy again!

Love Birkenstocks, period. I've always bought the Gizeh style, and decided to branch out and try the Mayari, love them as well. Be aware you will likely have to buy 2 sizes down from their "recommended" sizing. I usually wear US 7, which says I should wear Birkenstock 38, but 2 returns later the 36 fits perfect.

The Birkenstock Mayari is the fourth pair of Birkenstocks I have purchased for myself. I get the regular width because of my wide forefoot, and it feels extremely comfortable. The adjustable straps allow for a good fit over my bunions, not possible in most other sandals. I think the Mayari look more feminine than both my Milano and Pisa styles. Birkenstocks aren't supposed to have the same snug fit around toes and heels as other shoes, so while I wish they made a 36.5, I have gotten used to the fit of a 37. All Birkenstocks require a bit of a footbed break in period, but once through the first few days, they feel like magic on my feet. I wish there was a bit more diversity in available leather colors, but that's such a minor point for me. I highly recommend these sandals.

Fit and feel exactly as you would expect.

I wear between a 6.5 and 7 but have a somewhat narrow foot. it took me several times ordering different styles and sizes, but was extremely happy with this style and the 7 narrow fit me perfectly. So thankful for Zappos and the ability to return so quickly and easily.
