These run 2 SIZES TOO HUGE! According to the chart, a size 9 female foot should take a 39 - I had to return and re-purchase TWICE to find that a 37 was the proper fit for a size 8 female foot. Also, these took more breaking in than I expected - the stiff leather caused a sore on the upper part of my toes from where it rubbed when walking. I'm still working on breaking them in! but I appreciate the good arch support and the thick soles which I think will wear better than my previous knock-off versions.

Very cute shoe, but it appeared these shoes were not brand new. The other Birkenstock’s I have purchases have always had a tag on the straps and the straps are NEVER buckled. These did not seem new

I had another pair of the Mayaris that I purchase 3 years ago. These fit slightly differently. They are a little narrower. I have small/average toes, and the part that wraps around my big toe feels tighter than my original pair. I think it may loosen a bit with wear, but they are not quite as perfect as my older pair was.

I've worn Mayari for years and love them. This pair fits the same, but not great right out of the box. The buckle on the right side hits too close to my little toe (not the case with my other pairs). I ordered another pair to see if it was a defect, but it fits the same. I am keeping them and hope that I get used to it after they are broken in more.

I live in Birkenstock sandals with the original footbed due to plantar fasciitis. Adding a pair of Boston clogs for the winter for the first time.

I have 4 other pairs of Birks, 2 Arizona's and 2 Gizeh's. Love them both, but wanted to get a different style in Blue Oiled Leather. When I ordered this shoe, the site did not "note" a small inventory, and it took them almost a week to ship. When I finally received my shoes, the one toe loop was larger than the other (which fit my foot perfect). I immediately got online to return for another pair in the same size and color.......OUT OF TSTOCK! Grrrr. I liked the look, and decided to keep the shoes, however, after wearing them a couple of times, I really wish I would have returned them. The sandal with the large toe loop is uncomfortable (my foot just seems to be clenching the shoe to keep it on), however I will be honest and say the sandal with the correct toe loop is comfortable to wear. I'm just so disappointment in Birkenstock for their quality control. When you're paying $125 for a pair of shoes, they should be perfect, without any type of defect.

I have another pair the exact same size, but these fit very snuggly, and my left foot hits the side of the shoe sometimes as I walk. Perhaps they just need to stretch out, so I will keep them and see? You can’t beat Birkenstock for support and comfort.

I normally wear an 81/2 wide shoe. I need a very wide toe box and these fit the bill except they are a full size too long in length. I’ll return them for the 38 .

Cute, birks usually fit a size small and these were the same. Love the white but the was some yellowish glue on the seam which was a bummer. Kept them anyway!

Overall, the shoe is comfortable, but the toe portion can rub and be uncomfortable. I wore it for an entire day, walking and sightseeing around Baltimore and experienced no discomfort other than the toe.

I usually take a 9 for I am a true 8.5; but the 9/9.5 was an inch in a half larger than my normal sandal off the back heel. I returned and reordered the 8/8.5 fits exactly right. So true fit on this sandal. The adjustable straps allow for a tighter fit and placement on the bed of the shoe. I had ordered slip on sketchers sandal and the fixed strap was loose in my size. The bed of the shoe is hard and needs some breaking in time. I wear them around the house and switch off until they mold more to my foot. I haven't had a Berkenstock shoe in many years and this is the closest I can get to going barefoot. I require arch supports. The style of the shoe is much more modern than the old standard and if this works out I'll order another in a different style, same brand.

These are officially my first birkenstocks, and I am not disappointed. Great fit. I worried that the shoe would slip, given the minimal straps, but they don't. The foot well felt awkward at first, but seems to adjust to your foot with time. Very comfortable. I'm glad I finally tried them.

Size was fine and they are nice looking but the arch is very pronounced and hard as a rock! Hurt my arch just to stand in them, but may be fine for someone with an extremely high arch.

I wear a 6.5(37) and ordered the 37 and the 36. The 37 felt too long but my foot felt perfect lengthwise in the 36. I have a wide toe box and my foot comes right to the edge on the sides. The strap on the top of my foot that goes over the toes is a bit uncomfortable where it overlaps but I’m thinking that will resolve itself as they break in. Overall, they’re really cute and I’m looking forward to when they mold to my feet a little better.

I love Birkenstock shoes and wanted to love these but I'm not a fan of something between my toes. The sandle was fine, just my personal preference.

I got these in Dove Gray and they are beautiful! it’s a really versatile color that goes with almost everything I wear. I’m usually somewhere between and 7w-7.5, and ordered them in size 38 regular. I sometimes feel that they appear a little too long for my foot, but I don’t want to go down a size and risk them being too short, as they are quite comfortable. They do squeak a little, but I am hoping that as I break them in that will stop.

While these are very cute and could be suitable for others I have very flat feet and seems the arch support was changing my alignment and caused an ache in my knees almost immediately when wearing T_T

The navy oiled leather is quite pretty. The leather is slightly rough on the backside and rather stiff, but as with other leather products, I'd expect them to soften out with wear. My problem was the fit. I usually have to order a bit larger to allow for my wide feet. That did not work this time. I ordered my usual half size up, only to find that the molded footbed simply was too long. I also discovered that the toe strap simply wasn't comfortable for one of my toe joints, so instead of exchanging this pair of sandals for a smaller size, I'm going to exchange them for the Franca design in a smaller size.

Bought these cute sandals to see if I could be a Birkenstock person (vs. Mephisto/Dansko). Turns out, the answer is no. Or, maybe it’s just because I am used to my Mephisto Helens :-) Loved the silver—so fun! (Hint Mephisto). But, fit in the Birkenstock was not for me, but again, that’s just me. Also, I should have listened to zappos—they said for my foot (7.5 wide) I should get a 39, but I didn’t listen, and chose a 38 which was a tiny bit too small (so, yes, that impacted fit, but not dramatically, I really just prefer the Mephisto footbed). So, the main point of this: if you are a 7.5, order the larger size. And, if you are a Birkenstock person who likes this style, I recommend this shoe :-)

Arizona didn’t feel secure enough on my foot. These stay put. Only downside is that the black oiled leather does bleed black dye onto you.

really like them and will keep them…I wear a size 111/2 shoe so tricky to find that size… I ordered the same pair in black in euro size 43 perfect fit! wish the white ones would have been offered in that size too!

This is the very first Birkenstock I've purchased. I have to admit that for many years I didn't understand why people would buy these shoes especially for this price. But after getting these sandals I'm a convert! surprisingly enough they can look cute and put together with the right kind of clothes. I love wearing them in summer with cream colored shirts and high waisted shorts. I'm planning to get a vegan version of Arizona to wear to Pilates class

I normally wear size 8 US/38 EU but size 36 in Birkenstock’s fits perfectly. My last pair were the vegan ones and very comfortable until the toe strap broke. The leather ones need some serious breaking in - I hope they end up being as comfortable.
