I was looking for a pair of black sandals that would be somewhat dressy but still comfortable. I have narrow feet so have a very difficult time finding sandals that fit. Most make my legs and feet ache by the end of the day. I have been very happy with these sandals. I really like the two buckles as I can adjust them to fit my narrow foot and if the leather stretches over time, I can readust. The black patent leather gives them the dressier look I wanted. I've only worn them a couple of times and have gotten quite a few favorable comments on how cute they look. I wear a size 10 so bought the 41. They fit in the width but are too long. I decided to keep them for every day wear and bought another pair in size 40 to keep for good!

I haven't had a pair of Birkenstock shoes in a long time, but I wanted a pair of silver sandals that were simple. I have to say. I love them and I can't say that enough. I want to bring Birkenstock shoes back because these are too cute, super comfortable and everyone should have a pair.

You just can't go wrong with a pair of Birkenstock shoes and these are no exception. Comfortable the minute I put them on. Great Bronze color. They are feminine and flattering. I haven't worn Birkenstock shoes for years but I have been having foot trouble so I went back to them and my feet are getting better.

I found these shoes surprisingly stylish and comfortable. I have gotten many compliments. To all my sisters with low arches. You have to give it some time they will hurt at the beginning. Give it a few days or many wearings. I keep them by my bed so they are the first things I put on in the morning.

I love these shoes. I got them in one day thanks to Zappos quick shipping and I loved them, though they do run a little big I could have gone down one size. I just cinched them a little tighter and they work fine. Very cute and feminine and once they're broken in they are very comfortable.

I wish Zappos would show pictures of people wearing shoes so you can see how they look on a person. I thought this style looked kind of boring and clunky in the picture, but when I put them on my feet, they were my favorite out of all the other Birkenstock styles! much more feminine than the classic Arizona sandal. Don't worry if your new Birkenstock feels strange to you at first. They need to break in, and you need to get used to them, too. My feet felt really tired the first few weeks I wore these. but once they broke in, I'm fairly convinced they helped heal my plantar fasciitis! They have become my favorite summer shoe.

Tried and true. Sole wears down very quickly. Comfortable. Make them vegan please!

Really nice sandals. These are my first pair of Birkenstocks and I confess I had an outdated image of what they would look like. These are really cute -- not frumpy as so many "comfortable and supportive" shoes can be. I can wear these with dress pants, skirts, or dresses for a nice business casual style, but they will also work with shorts/casual. Very happy. I have bunions ugh and these are very comfortable and don't irritate my feet.

I love birkenstock, and have a number of their shoes. I have had tons of compliments on this pair. The footbed is perfect. For some reason though, the nubuck fabric of the upper has never broken in on the toe post. It has stayed pretty stiff, so it gets uncomfortable if I wear it for extended walking. I have another pair of Mayari in leather, and they have broken in and are much more comfortable between my toes. I still love owning this pair. It is nice to have something I can wear that seems a little more dressed up.

I have this same style Birk and same size from a few years ago and they are great. However, on one of these sandals I received, the strap around the toe was very tight and on the other sandal it was too long. Also the strap around the top of the foot was much longer and I would need more holes punched in order to tighten the buckle.

Fit well but the narrow could still be a bit more narrow..I don’t love how the footbed is rather hard and scratchy but that’s Birkenstocks for you.

These were great and even a little more stylish for a Birkenstock sandal, but the toe post was really uncomfortable, even though I do wear flip flops fairly often and don’t have a problem with them. The ones I bought were the Birki-flor material, so maybe the real leather ones will be better.

I wanted sandals to replace flip-flops and heard how comfortable Birkenstocks are. I didn’t want the original “hippie two-strap” style, though. I decided to give these a try. I have wide feet so the adjustable straps are great. It’s still too cold to wear them for any length of time here, but for the short amounts of time that I’ve worn them around the house, they’ve been comfortable. I’m thinking that the leather will stretch out and soften up a bit as I wear them once the weather warms up.

It seem to be an overall great product. I only struggled with having the proper arch support and the fact that my foot is a little narrow. I felt like it bounced around a little more than I would like. I don’t think this brand is for me.

I bought the betula Mia very similar to these. I have a 7.5 med to narrow foot. The pair of betulas are 7.5 narrow and fit amazing, these fit a little too narrow and my foot looks swollen in them due to padding. I have skinny feet. The toe loop was very constricting that my toe was turning red. I returned these. If you have a narrow foot, try the regular width first or size up. I ended up buying the betulas again instead.

Finally decided to spring for a set of Birkenstocks to see what all the fuss is about. First of all, the arch support was terrific but the bottom was rock hard. I know these cork soles are supposed to eventually adjust to the contour of your feet, but Good Lord how long would that take?! In the meantime, I could see having aching feet. Got the 37 European size, which is what I would usually order from Ecco or other Euro brands (my feet are 6 1/2 US size), but the shoe was at least half a size too long. Would risk exchanging for a 36 but the main reason I am returning is that the hard lip that goes around the edge of the shoe where the toes lie was already banging up against my middle and ring toes and I don't have a particularly wide foot. Can't image that a small size would change that and might make it worse. Not a good choice for me personally.

Slightly too long for size. Great for wide foot. Bought these to wear while cooking in my tile floored kitchen. Have been wearing for about a week. Too early to tell about durability. Easy to slip in & out of, super comfortable, not bad looking, & no more tired, achy feet. Will likely try a second pair for wear outdoors.

I love the fit and the overall style but thought I was ordering leather no suede. Description could use improvement.

I think the shoes are cute but the leather strap around my toe is irritating.

These are my first official pair of Birkenstocks! I've admired them for years and finally took the plunge. I ordered the EVA/Arizona Essentials style Birkenstock a few months ago, but they do not compare to a traditional Birkenstock sandal. The Mayari's, (color: stone) fit me perfectly. I am a size 8 and ordered a size 39, I have average width feet and the regular width is perfect. I gave 4 stars for 'Overall' and 'Comfort' because I was expecting a soft sole and the sole is definitely not soft. I was instantly dissatisfied and wondered if they needed to be broken in. I wore them around the house for two days and realized they were amazing (I was comparing them to the 'squishiness' of the EVA/Arizona Birkenstock sandals and sure, they aren't as squishy and soft as the EVA sandals), but they fit amazing and have matched every outfit I've tried them with!

I find that I have to really tighten the straps to keep my feet in place, to the point that it is a bit uncomfortable. I wear a women's 11, but these seem a bit short. Maybe that's how Birkenstock's are, it's my first pair. Width is fine.

I had to return and order a size smaller than I thought. Fits pretty well. The fixed toe strap is tighter on one shoe than the other, I’m hoping it will wear in with time. I like the shoes overall.
