I absolutely love these Birkenstocks and so I have given them five stars! The narrow width is much less bulky, yet they are sturdy and supportive. This is a big improvement on an old favorite!

I love these Birks. They are just as comfortable as I expect, but look very dressy with the patent leather and thin straps. Much less "hippy" than my other Birkenstocks. I get compliments every time I wear these.

These are the best sandals I've ever worn - way better than the custom orthotic sandals I bought a long time ago. They're comfortable right out of the box. I had no break-in period as others did. They feel like they were made for my feet. My feet are a little wider than average, and the fact that these have two adjustable straps work well. I was hesitant to wear sandals without a strap across my heel, but these are fine. I am now a Birkenstock convert!

Last summer I bought the white leather Mayari and loved them. They're a little dressier than the average Birkie, and look great with jeans as well as skirts. Since I didn't want patent leather I passed on buying another pair. This year when the black leather became available I jumped at the chance. I've been wearing Birkies off and on for a few years and they've never let me down. The arch support is great for high arches like mine, and if you're used to the fit, they take little breaking in. The price always makes me a little apprehensive, but they last for years with just a little care. It's easy to keep the cork looking good with cork sealer, and if you want, the shoe can be resoled (though I never have). I only wish Birkies made more closed shoes, because in my climate (rainy PNW) it's difficult to wear sandals all year round. I would recommend these sandals to anyone.

This is the perfect replacement for my six year old Florida sandal! The buckles allow adjustment for my wide forefoot and my high instep! The style is a little sleeker than most Birki sandals and the color, Onyx, is a actually a dark pewter with a little shimmer, not a flat gray.

Very nice look and feel. It's hard to see it in the photos, but this is black patent leather. It looks great. The Birkenstocks really help my plantar fasciitis. I also really love Zappos. I first ordered size 39, as I typically take a true size 8, however, it was too big. I was able to send back, and get size 38, with no shipping charges/problems. Thanks Zappos and Birkenstock!

These sandals were comfortable out of the box. I stand in them all day at work and my feet never hurt or feel uncomfortable. If you prefer the look of leather Birks but want to save and get birko-flor material, the golden color looks and feels much like a leather. The other birko-flor colors were too plastic-y for my taste. Definitely worth the investment.

My favorite Birkies. True to fit and stay on your feet comfortably. These sandals look great with summer casual skirts and capris.

I recently had a flare-up of plantar fasciitis, with a new wrinkle, concurrent pain in the first metatarsal joint of the second toe. This time I followed advice from a friend who is a therapist and bought Birkenstock. The toe bar is especially helpful for the kind of pain I'm experiencing this time. I have Birkenstock Arizonas and Bostons that I wear at home and two pairs of Mayari sandals for work. For daily activities, they give me total pain relief. I gave away 4 garbage bags of shoes, so I won't be tempted to wear "cute" shoes! The Mayaris are quite stylish with a good pedicure. I'm still looking for a fitness shoe for a walking long distances and a standing shoe for hours of cooking on slate floors.

I got this shoe before I went to Montreal for vacation. I broke them in by walking around the city and they were so comfortable even in the July heat. I get so many complements on them. They are light on the feet and go with everything such as shorts and over skinny jeans. They're a great shoe for concerts too.

I made the awesome discovery of ordering "Narrow" width Birenstocks and realized that I'd been missing out on a whole new world. A world that does not involve wearing clown shoes. Please, ladies, try getting the narrow width (if your feet are not ultra wide). I love these sandals. They are very comfy and look great. Certainly not "clunkers."

This is possibly the cutest and most comfortable pair of sandals I own. I used to have a pair of the original 3-strap Birkenstock sandals, which were comfortable, but made my feet look like canal boats. These have a very sweet feminine look, and I've gotten a lot of positive comments and surprise from people when they find out they're Birkenstock! I recommend them highly!

These are my first ever Birkenstock shoes and I totally love them. Craftsmanship is awesome. I'm ordering two more pair next week.

I am delighted with my new Birkenstock Mayari sandals. When they arrived today, I put them on and have had them on all day without needing a break-in time. Fit perfectly, very comfortable and I love the style. Thought maybe the toe loop would be a problem, but it's soft and pliable so it doesn't rub even with wearing toe rings! I got the Onyx color that will go with lots of skirts and jeans. Will definitely order another pair from Zappos as soon as they get more in in my size. Ordering was so easy. Thanks, Zappos Team!

Birkenstocks never fail to please. They are always well made and seem to built to provide the best support and comfort. I love this design as well, it really flattering. These are the only shoes I wear.

These shoes are super comfortable and go with just about anything! They run large so order a size smaller! Zappos service is amazing as usual and super fast shipping!

I love my new shoes!! And getting them online was sooo much easier than getting in the car, driving, parking etc. They fit perfectly, of course and you can go wrong with Birkenstocks!

For me it's instant comfort. No breaking in whatsoever. These are my second pair of Mayaris. I will likely purchase a third as they are a perfect fit for my feet didn't even have a problem with the toe thong. People admire the color. The Onyx color can be worn with navy, blue or black and they all match. I have very high arches and the arch support is great.

These are my 3rd pair of Birkenstocks and I love them. I have very wide feet and these fit great and they are much cuter than the traditional Birkenstock sandals. The color is more metallic than I thought it would be, but I\\\\\\\'m really liking it. Great shoe!

I had back surgery 2 months ago and am starting to walk around normally. My husband has been on my case about buying some Birkenstock shoes because he has loved them for over 25 years. This was my first pair. I felt like I was walking tall and my back did not hurt. When I put on my other sandals, my back and legs hurt. I have bought two more pairs since these.

Shinier than expected, guess I missed the patent leather part. Once I got used to that really love them! Can be dressy or casual, they work with both. Love the style!

The Mayari's are so comfortable from the time you put them on. The patent is fun and it didn't look like a true (shiny) patent online, but it is. I made a mistake and ordered one size too big, forgetting that I wear a 40 in closed shoes and a 39 in sandals. These are great for wide feet. I am likely to order another pair of the same style in the future. Took less than 24 hours to deliver with one day shipping!

This is my second pair of these sandals. I wore the first pair until they were embarrassingly thrashed. I love this pair, they are really comfortable except that it takes a while to break in the toe strap. After that, they\'re great!

These are really cute Birkenstock shoes. In my mind, they are the only cute Birkenstock. I had surgery on both feet this past year, and flip flops are okay, but not good for serious walking around. These are the perfect alternative.

I love Zappos.com! This was my first experience ordering from this company. I ordered a pair of Birkenstock shoes in the wrong size. My fault. I returned them, (free shipping) yea, and received the second pair, which fit just right. The service was fantastic, The time in which my shoes were delivered was incredibly fast, even though they said it could take a couple of days longer because of the week end, it didn't.
