Finally a Birk with comfort and style. I wore them 8 hours the first day and they were very comfortable.

I've been wearing Birkenstocks my whole life, and I still love them. This new style looks modern and fun, and it's great for all the walking I do every day! I would suggest the soft footbed for extra comfort.

I love these shoes! This style is a more feminine take on a classic. Every time I wear my Birkenstocks, I feel like I am doing such great things for my feet! The raspberry wine is a nice purple that is surprisingly neutral and seems to work with most, if not all, of my wardrobe. I have a wide foot and wear 9.5-10 usually. The 39 is a perfect fit. So glad I got these, and, of course, Zappos made sure they got to me quickly. Thanks!

I wear Birkenstocks for comfort and for the desire to preserve my foot health so that I can continue to wear fashionable heels longer. The oiled leather Mayari is one of my favorite Birkenstocks in terms of comfort. I am use to toe separators, but my MIL, who cannot wear the Gizeh, reports the Mayari to be comfortable as well. Fits true to size. I am on the wide side of size 37B or US 6.5 in French and Italian designer shoes, and I take a 37 regular width in all Birkenstocks that I own including the Mayari, Arizona, Gizeh, Sparta, London and Paris. Re sizing, there is a quarter inch of space in the back and a little more than that in the front. I could have fit into the 36, but I believe that the extra room is consistent with the recommended fit of the shoe. Re width, it's my understanding that if your foot is basically straight up and down, the recommendation is go with narrow. Since my foot fans out, I go with regular and I do have to tighten the straps all the way. For some people, the Mayari may read as more traditionally pretty or feminine because it is strappy. Since the Vogue magazine endorsement of the Gizeh and the Arizona, the Mayari is a perfect start to a Birkenstock wardrobe, if you are hesitant because of the preceded clunkiness. Once you have tried one Birkenstock model, the comfort will have you coming back for more, and the clunky charm of the shoe will grow on you. I am to the point of Birkenstock love where I think even the Arizona actually flatters my foot and makes it look cuter and more petite. My only quibble is I wish Birkenstock made more models available in high arch. I am rating it as having excellent arch support because, relative to other shoes, I am very very happy.

These live up to every Birkenstock I've owned. Super comfortable. I always order a size smaller. I wear a US size 8 and have a wide foot. The 37 regular is the size that works best for me. I love the silver color and the toe cross style is very comfortable. My feet have become addicted to the great arch support of a Birkenstock!

Dog took my left shoe and I cannot find it! So I have to buy another pair. I have a high arch and instep with a large "saddle" bump on the top of my foot (google it). Finding sandals that don't cut off the circulation on the top of my foot and have support for my high arch is hard. These fit my need. My last pair lasted 10 years.

So comfortable! Except for my running shoes with custom orthotic devices, these Birkenstocks are my most comfortable footwear. And they look better with skirts and dresses than running shoes do! I absolutely love them. I wear a women's size 9 and 39 fits me perfectly. The titanium color has a greenish tinge to it, which I don't mind.

I've owned these sandals for a month now, amazing! I was unsure about them at first, but so cute on! I have the silver & have received so many compliments! I stand all day & the comfort is unbelievable! Good choice!

Being someone that has to wear their orthotics these shoes are the best of both worlds especially for the summer. However, I've had them less than 2 months and they're starting to fall apart. For this price? M'yeah they shouldn't be coming apart. The cork near the front of the shoe where it flexes with the foot as you walk is starting to chip off. I actually just literally placed an order for another pair of Birkenstocks - preparing for the cooler weather and now I'm having second thoughts.

These fit like a glove. I've had a suede taupe pair for years and they've helped my feet get through long days of teaching, as well as a trip to Ireland, England and Hawaii. You won't be disappointed in this shoe. The toe loop is soft and never bothers my big toe like one might think.

An attractive Birkenstock sandal that is deliciously comfortable and provides fantastic support. My feet are in heaven. I just love them!

My first pair of Birkies and if I was Oprah I'd say I love them! I wear them everywhere because they are super comfy but also offer get arch support. I was afraid they looked to wide and clunky at first, but after wearing them a while they really started molding to my feet. Also I am normally a small 7, so I got a size down in these. Overall, they're great.

Other than the leather between the toes being stiff and uncomfortable in the beginning, this is a great sandal. I'm sure the leather will soften. The style holds your foot so that you don't have to grasp the shoe with your toes as you walk, as I have to in my Naot's. the arch support is excellent and keeps the weight off the ball of the foot which I am always looking for in a shoe. The shoe is wide, which I need. Definitely runs large. You need to order down a whole size.

Mayari is THE most comfortable of all styles of Birkenstocks. I'm sure that in my 40+ pair of Birkenstocks many are comfortable but these are the greatest!

As Birkenstocks go, they are cute. I bought this shoe 3 summers ago and pretty much alternated wearing them with wearing another pair of sandals. Unfortunately I have worn them out and it is time for a new pair. Planning to purchase the exact same ones again!

I love this shoe. I have it in 5 colors and would buy more if it was available in my size and narrow. It is so comfortable. It is more comfortable than my tennis shoes for all day walking. My only advice to new wearers is to try them in a store. My Birkenstock size is 2 sizes smaller than my other shoes.

I've been looking for sandals with color that I can wear on vacation and found them! I have mortons neuroma and tried lots of shoes. They are all so matronly an someone suggested good old Birkenstocks. Was advised to wear slowly. Adding an hour a day. Now after a long day on my feet my hips, back and feet don't hurt any more. They are a little wide but adjustable straps are perfect

Love these. I have worn Birks off and on for many years. This is the first time I have tried this style. I like it! Very comfortable. I find it more flattering and more comfortable than the Gizeh thong. I love the Emerald Isle color. A friend called it Mermaid colored.

These shoes are exactly what I wanted. They arrived quickly and have been so comfortable. The color is true to what was depicted on the Internet. The color has a nice shimmer to it.

Great fit I was having heel problems. I have worn Birkenstocks for 40 years. I liked the look of these and thought I would give them a try. They are great! Love all the colors and I am ordering another pair. Have gotten lots of compliments.

These are my second pair of Birkenstocks. I have plantar fascitis which causes me heel to hurt. I only wear Birkenstocks around the house. I usually never wore them when I went out. My niece was wearing these and I thought they were cute so I ordered them. I've been wearing them a lot this summer when I go out. They are a little dressier and very cute. They are very comfortable like all Birkenstocks are. I tried them on at the store first and determined I have to order a size smaller than I usually wear.

So comfortable. I opened the box, put these on my feet, and away I went. No breaking in period or anything. I needed a comfortable, easy slip on sandal that would offer some support to my feet, and these fit the bill. I typically wear 8.5. and I ordered these in a 39.

I absolutely love these shoes. They arrived quickly and I've worn them every day since I got them. I usually wear an 8-8.5 regular and I have a 39 regular in these shoes. They were comfortable straight from the box. I adjusted the straps a bit because my feet are on the narrow side of normal. The toffee color is a nice bronzey shade that looks cute dressed up or down. I wear my Chacos a lot and these are just as comfortable as Chacos, but look a bit nicer. Five stars all the way!

Quick wearing in period but great for my plantar fasciitis. Great color, lots of compliments. Would buy in other colors!

Wore them a little bit around the house then took them on vacation where we did lots of walking. They are now my favorite sandals, and my first Birkenstocks.
