I've been wanting a sandal with more support than a flip flop, and bought these as a cute way to join the recent Birkenstock trend! I have a wide foot and typically wear a 6 1/2 - 7, so I was a little unsure of what size to order. Based on the reviews I first tried a 37, but they felt a little large and online fit resources suggested my heel should land towards the back of the shoe - if not, it's too big. Down to a 36 I went, and they fit perfectly!

These arrived in 2 days of ordering! I love how comfortable they are. I think the Mayari style looks more feminine than the Arizona one because the straps are slimmer. I was really worried about the width because after I ordered them I noticed that a lot people were saying the narrow was much better for feet that are not considered wide. They said regular is for wide and narrow is for regular. I have average width feet, so I was going to reorder and get the narrow but when I put them on they were perfect. Based on these shoes, which I got in a 36 (I'm typically a 6 US in flip flops and maybe a 6.5 US in closed toe shoes) and these fit perfectly. I wouldn't go with narrow unless your feet are super slim. So when my feet are resting in the sandal, there is no extra space at the toe or the heel. I have a shorter big toe than second toe so my 4 toes seem to go over the front very slightly when I walk but it doesn't bug me. I haven't gone out and really walked anywhere yet but I'm hoping it should be fine.

This was my first pair of Birkenstocks. I am so happy with my purchase! I had to adjust the straps a bit for maximum comfort, but once I got it right these sandals felt so supportive. I can walk all day in them. I love the oiled black leather look and hope to buy more colors soon. You won't regret buying these! Side note: This ran really big for me, exchanged my usual size for one smaller.

I originally bought these in Birki-flor brown color, but didn't like the shiny look. I returned them for the habana oiled leather and I love the look. I usually wear a 7-7.5 in shoes, and had to get a 37 N in these (love that Zappos carries the narrow sizes). I don't typically buy narrow in other brands, but definitely needed to for these because they run wide. It is great to find a stylish and comfortable sandal that will last.

I bought these shoes in silver at the end of last summer. I wore them daily until it got too cold, and they were the first shoes I took out of my closet this past spring! After a short break-in period, they became amazingly comfortable, as well as the most supportive shoes I have ever owned. I always get compliments on them, and people are usually surprised they are Birks because of the cute style. The silver color takes casual clothes up a notch, and goes with almost everything. I have problem feet as well as narrow feet which makes it almost impossible to find shoes, but I can wear these all day without pain! Love the adjustable straps - even though they are narrow, I still have the buckles on almost the last hole. I am back for another pair in another color, because they are worth every penny!!

These sandals are perfect for my narrow, flat feet! I am so happy that Birkenstock made this "prettier" style Birkenstock. I bought pairs in 2 colors and intend to wear them all summer!

I have plantar fasciitis, which is very painful. The main natural thing you can to do heal this is to wear good shoes with a strong arch support. But I live in Texas and the thought of closed toed shoes in summer is just not gonna happen! So I ordered these Birkenstock's and they are WONDERFUL! Good support and my feet appreciate the purchase!

Dankso and Keen I wear 42 / 11 these in a 42 felt a whole size larger. It makes to toe bar thing line up weird so returning for 41. I normally wear Teva / Reef flip flops all summer but this year my feet are aching. So I'm trying these, hoping for some relief.

Absolutely love these sandals. I was worried about the toe wrap as I'm not a regular thong wearer, but it's barely noticeable during wear. As with all Birkenstock regular footbeds, it takes a few wearings before they feel just right. I've worn them on 2-3 mile walks up and down hills and they just keep getting more comfortable. My normal size in American sizing is 6.5 Medium and the 37R fits perfectly and isn't too wide. And the style is relatively cute and feminine (difficult to find in Birkenstocks).

These are so comfortable. I got them in the stone color and they go with everything. Fit is perfect right out of the box. My first pair of Birks so they feel big and clunky. But the comfort and support factor is worth it the looks.

Love my new Birkenstock shoes! I'm glad I read other reviews as I ended up ordering a whole size smaller, and they fit perfect. This style definitely runs large.

I used to wear these years ago (not saying how many)..they haven't changed a bit. They are made well and very comfortable. I have 2 minor issues with them though. They don't come in half sizes. I wear a 9 and the size of Birkenstocks I had to get are a 9/10 so they are a bit long. Also the arch on my left foot somehow creates a nasty sounding noise when I walk. Some sort of suction between my arch and the arch of the sandal. Kinda funny... Hoping this will go away as they break in.

I swore I would never buy Birkenstocks. I am pregnant and live somewhere very hot, however, so I needed a shoe that would provide good support during those last few months as my flip flops just weren't cutting it. I am a complete convert. These shoes are fantastic. They look great on and don't remind you of the days of old when you'd see people wearing these with socks and hippie dresses or skirts. They are now my go-to-shoe for every day wear during the summer and I'll even choose these over my flip flops when doing basic things, like taking the dog or the trash out. As another reviewer has said, the first few days they felt a bit odd but once my the shoe molded to the shape of my foot, it's as if I have a custom fit. I highly recommend them.

These are by far the most comfortable go to sandals. I have worn them in Cabos, Cancun, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. My go to for comfort - hey, when you're on vaca, you're supposed to be comfortable, right?

Ordered these because I had ankle surgery and needed some comfortable, flat dress shoes with no ankle strap to wear with a dress to an event. They were great. Since they've been seen on the runway a lot lately, it didn't seem weird to wear Birkis and the "patent" look dressed them up a bit. It definitely worked. I am enjoying having these and have worn them a lot now. Very comfortable. Runs slightly larger than past styles I've had.

I love these shoes! My first pair was black patent that I ordered for a trip to Hawaii. I needed comfy shoes that I could wear to some evening events where we would be standing all night. These fit the bill perfectly, and I receive many compliments. These are the only Birkenstocks that fit me because I have a bunion and narrow feet. The two don't seem to fit the regular Birkenstock cut; however, the toe band on the Mayari keeps my feet in place. I gave it four stars for comfort because while comfy now, my feet hurt after long hours of during the initial break in period. Once the sole conformed after about 1-2 weeks of wear, I have happy feet.

The leather is a bit stiff around the buckle. I wore a little medical tape for two days on my small toe which worked just fine. This is my third pair of Mayari's and I'll probable buy more.

I love these! They are so comfortable. I forgot what it feels like to have a new pair of Birks. The oiled leather is so soft and comfortable. I already own an old pair, different style, and thought It would take forever to love my new ones. But right out of the box, they're perfect. I think the size is right on. I'm an 8- 8 1/2 and I got a 39 like they suggested and they fit perfectly.

I have loved Birkenstock since the '90s, and I don't know why I stayed away for so long! These, of course, are the most comfortable shoes I own, and the metallic strap adds the Chic to my inner hippie.

Best shoes of my life. Not exaggerating. But seriously, I wear an 8.5 sometimes but often a 9 with an average to narrow width. I bought 39 regular and they are perfect. I vacillated between the regular and narrow width but I'm so glad I got the regular. So comfy and these don't overwhelm my feet.

They aren't a soft cushy shoe, but I love the Birks. I usually wear a 6-6.5 and I ordered the 5-5.5. They fit great.

These shoes are so awesome. However they do not run according to the size chart. I am a true 8 and the 39 was too big. I ordered a 38 and they were perfect!

These sandals are like being bare foot! They needed zero "breaking in" are (so far) virtually indestructible and they are my go to summer shoe.

These are the best shoes ever!!! They provide excellent arch support and are so comfortable. I rarely wear anything else!
