Great Birkenstocks! I bought these as a birthday gift for our college-age daughter, and it's possible that she hasn't taken them off of her feet since she opened the box. She loves them and says they are very comfortable. I ordered a size smaller than her usual shoe size and they were just right.

My old Birkenstocks had finally gotten so beaten up I didn't want to wear them in public. These were a new style for me but I love how they are a bit more "dressy" than the traditional Birkenstock. I can wear them with a casual skirt or shorts and they look nice. I do live in a town known for thinking Birkenstocks are dress shoes so you may not agree with this style assessment. They fit really well and are as comfortable as I would expect from this company. Even the leather around the toe is comfortable and not chafing or irritating. The only negative about these is that they sometimes make a farting noise when I walk. I know from experience that this will go away with time but be warned!

Love them! They were a little darker than the picture which tickled me. I really wanted a navy and they are close.

Love these! I have a friend who swears by Birkenstocks, so glad I tried these! I will be back for some clogs this fall!

I am a Birkenstock devotee. They offer great support (my feet are never sore, and I wear them from dawn to dusk). This style is particularly sweet. It is more feminine looking than the traditional Birk. Thinner straps and great color.

These are my first pair of Birks. Ever. I love them. Sandals do not fit my narrow feet! Ever! These are just perfect. I wear them every day. My back feels better now than it ever has. These sandals don't flop around, and they are cute cute cute! I live in Iowa, where most people tend to flop around town in their pajamas, so these silver Birks make me feel quite dressed up if you grade on a curve. Love them.

I was a wearer of Birkenstocks way back "in the day" and, after purchasing this pair, wonder why I ever gave them up! In addition to the great foot and arch support, this particular model is attractive, comfortable and the quality is unbeatable. Noted also is the fact that Birkenstock offers interesting colors and even prints. I will definitely be buying another pair in the not too distant future.

These have been my go to sandals all spring and summer. I have worn them practically every day. They are super comfortable. They provide great arch support! They are easily dressed up or down.

I love my first pair of Birkenstocks! I'm a 27 year old wife & mother and my toddler son keeps me running all day. I needed supportive, comfortable yet attractive sandals that would last me years to come and were appropriate for not only grocery shopping and camping but also church events. After weeks of research (yes, I'm that person) I decided on these, & love them! A few things I'd like to note: 1 - Color/Style: These are a pretty, shimmery blue and very true to the images. They are a good "neutral blue" if you know what I mean! Because of my wide feet, low arches, short toes & picky nature, I was worried these might look weird on me. . but they are very flattering and not "grandma" like I was afraid! So far they've looked (& felt) great with my jeans, capris, khskis, shorts and maxi dresses. 2 - Size/Fit: I wear a size 8 & occasionally 8.5 because of my wide feet. After reading reviews I thought I might need to order a size smaller. Very glad I did not! I got 39's & yes, they are slightly large/long but only because they offer room for your feet to naturally spread and comfortably move within the sandal, rather than being constricted. The width was great for me too, although if my feet were much wider my toes would be a little cramped & I would probably want to try the next size up. 3 - Breaking in: These felt awesome on my feet when first tried on out of the box. Then I started walking... the toe straps were fine when adjusted appropriately for my feet. But the strap that went across the top of my foot was very painful for the first 3 days! I loosened it as much as possible until the top of my foot had toughened up or the strap had softened or whatever was going on, then I tightened it back where it needed to be. There seemed an excessive amount of arch support until the bed conformed to my feet. Now there is a comfortable amount that also seems to help my posture - having low arches I had not realized how important proper arch support was for me. I am very pleased with my purchase...even made my husband jealous so he's planning on buying Birkenstocks too! These are pretty, comfortable and well made. I've received many compliments on them and love the way they look and feel.

Great sandals! I wear them all the time. I have super wide feet and they fit great, but I had to go a size down. I'm usually an 8-8.5 but got a 7-7.5. They work slightly more dressed up too bc of the detail and finish.

These shoes are the best. They do run big. I had to order a size smaller than I normally wear. So comfortable. Can easily walk around the city for hours and not get sore feet.

I'm so happy I made this purchase and made the purchase with Zappos! The first day I wore them I thought I made a mistake about what I purchased because they made my feet ache. But after the second day, they were very comfortable! They just took a bit of breaking in and molding to my feet. Now my feet feel naked without my Birks!

What can I say -- they're Birkies. You either love 'em or hate 'em. I love 'em. These come in the narrow width which not all Birkies do. Fit my size 40 narrow foot just like all the others I have. I can walk for miles in any of my Birkies, these included. They nicely support my foot with great arch support -- as good as my expensive orthotic inserts. Bought these in the patent look so they would look slightly dressier.

This is the most comfortable shoe ever! I bought a pair last summer and I walked miles in them on a trip to Ireland this summer! They were comfortable right out of the box...no breaking in required! This sandal seems to run a little large. I usually wear a size 9 which is a 39-40 according to the chart...but I found a 38 to be perfect. I have just placed an order for the Mayari in 2 other colors! I highly recommend this sandal!

I cannot say how much I love these shoes. I have them in silver and black. Since I've gotten them I hardly wear any other shoes. They are so comfortable! If you are in doubt buy them, you won't look back.

These shoes are so comfortable! I ordered them in a narrow and a regular, as I do have feet in the middle. The narrow worked, but the regular was more comfortable in the end. I usually wear an 8.5 or a 9. I ordered these shoes in a 39, which is about right, maybe a touch too long. It took a few weeks for these shoes to become extremely comfortable, but it was worth the wait! Now wear them all the time; they have great support, are quick on and off, and they go with all my casual summer clothes. I would definitely buy a pair of sandals from this company, they are worth the money and the break in time.

I absolutely love these shoes! I avoided Birkenstocks my entire life for aesthetic reasons, but these silver Mayaris are both stylish and ridiculously comfortable - seriously, I want to sleep in these shoes, they are so comfortable! The only thing that I would change about these shoes is their height - I am short (5 feet tall), so a little bit of a platform would be ideal, but otherwise these are exceptional shoes: I am a tough customer when it comes to shoe comfort since I walk a lot every day and stand for hours at work, and I give these shoes a big fat kiss - they are great! I did order the narrow option based on other Zappos reviews, and I am very glad that I did - I am a size 5½, give-or-take, and not necessarily what I would call narrow, but I believe that the narrow Birkenstock option gave me the perfect, small foot fit - a medium would have been much too large on me. I would suggest ordering a narrow in these shoes unless your feet run remarkably wide: I intend to own many more Birkenstock shoes in the future, and will always order narrow to ensure the wonderful fit that I am enjoying with my narrow silver Mayaris, which is absolutely perfect!

I love the look of these Birks. They're not too crunchy and they aren't too matronly. I really love the color- onyx. I've had Birks most of my life and they are great for support and shock absorption. I can wear them to my summer casual work place, hike, sail- everything. I routinely get them wet and they dry good as new, not that I would choose them as a water shoe!

If you're thinking twice about these - go with your gut! These are the most comfortable Birks straight out of the box. Adjust your buckles and you're off! I'm on my second pair - got the raspberry wine ones initially [bring them back, Zappos - "hint, hint"]. Got the black ones now and they're proven not to disappoint. Get them, wear around the house and if you don't absolutely love like I do - return them. Zappos is great! These Birks are better.

I love, love, love this shoe. It fits perfect the first time on. I have two other pairs of Birkenstocks and love those too. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

I'm wearing my Mayari's right now. I got them in Licorice so that I can wear them with almost anything but especially so I can wear them to work as we have a relaxed dress code during the summer. I have wide feet problem feet (bunions) and love these shoes. Having these on is like wearing orthotics for me. They save me & save my back. The regular width fit my wide feet nicely

Prettier than the average Birkenstock, but still chunkier than what I would really prefer. Super comfortable though. I'm usually a size 9 and I ordered a 39 and they are too big, but I tightened the straps. I get lots of compliments on them!

Love, love, love these shoes. Comfortable for a full day of walking, and kinda cute too.

These are by far my favorite shoes. I bought a pair four years ago and have worn them every day all summer for all four years. Just due to the way I walk, I managed to wear down the back sole of the shoe until I hit the cork. They still wear fine but I will probably be purchasing a new pair soon. They take a week or so to break in but once they are molded to your foot, they are the most comfortable shoes ever.

I bought these for my trip to Europe- I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking, and I wanted a pair of sandals that were stylish but still comfortable. These surpassed my expectations. I've walked probably over 50 miles in these shoes already, and they're are still as sturdy and comfy as ever. I haven't gotten any blisters from them either. Just a tip though- I usually wear size 6.5-7 and I bought these in a size 5 and they fit perfectly (I bought the 6 and had to return them). So yes, size down. Other than that, I 100% recommend.
