My last pair of Birks was 20 years ago and I had forgotten just how comfortable they are! My first order attempts did have to be returned though. I normally wear a US 8.5, so I ordered a 39 which is for 8-8.5. They were too big. I recommend ordering down a size.

I really am so surprised with how much I LOVE these sandals. I ordered because for a few months I have been needing a nice, comfy, quality pair of sandals since we just moved back to AZ. Here we wear sandals year round. We moved from WA state where these shoes were a hit but I thought maybe not my style. I came across all the different style Birks and wanted to try them. I suggest trying on in a store near you, before ordering. I had to order twice and have 2 returns. It only took me less than 1 week for it all to happen though since ZAPPOS free ship and return is that fast. BTW I have 4 kids and could of saved myself the UPS trip. :) I went down a size from my regular US 8 to the Birks 38. I'm happy with it and happy with the style and the color choice I picked! So go ahead and order! I'm a young mother of 4 and these are comfy, stylish and great for our summers in AZ and vacations this summer with all the walking we will do but keeping my feet cool and comfy.

I love these! I still own my first Birkenstocks and I now wear them to the beach. This style is so very comfortable and I find myself wearing them every chance I get.

I have been wearing Birkenstock for nearly 20 years and they have been wonderful for my feet. The Mayari is no exception. However, there is a break-in period with Birkenstock due to the cork footbed and leather straps. It has taken about a month for them to really start forming to the shape my feet. I don't normally wear "toe-strap" sandals but these are just fine. I ordered the Habana Oiled Leather and they were a little dry looking when they arrived but after oiling them with a beeswax leather conditioner they look great. Excellent product I know will last for many many miles.

Cute shoe on my foot; comfortable right out of the box. at first I had one toe that seemed to hit the curve of the soul, but after a little wear that has seem to correct itself; I love these, the only con for me was the price; a little shoe for big price tag; and also the doctor said with age I have lost some of the padding in the balls of my feet, so I can't wear these for a long time, but they are too cute; I do wear a narrow and these fit great.

Love the shoe, didn't like the Toffee color. It is metallic like, and this is does not show up well in the pictures. I just wanted a brown shoe.

I was excited to try my first pair of Birkenstocks, especially since I've recently been diagnosed with plantar fascitis, but the "regular" width was still too narrow for my feet--the outer edge of the footbed felt really hard and unyielding, and they're too pricey to hope that they'd break in and soften over time. Back they go!

My new Birki fave! I absolutely love the Mayari. Needed a new sandal and as always, Birkenstock fits like a charm. The soft footbed is luscious and supportive. The toe loop is loose and comfortable; no rubbing. I love the Onyx color..dresses it up a notch. I highly recommend the Mayari for a stylish, comfortable every occasion sandal.

I really like these shoes. Very casual and comfortable after a little break in to form to my foot. So happy I read the reviews and order a full size smaller right off the get go and they were perfect!! I'm very happy with my purchase.

What can I say? They're Birkenstocks. They're well made, comfortable, and they last for years. I live in New York and we NEED nice, comfortable shoes to get from A to B. I wear these about every other day and they are wonderful!

These are amazing. It is true that it takes a couple days to break in but it was not a struggle. I wear them daily and absolutely love them. I highly recommend them. They are so comfortable.

Pretty quickly comfortable. Minimal breaking in period - only pinched in toe area for a VERY short time. Great sandal. Highly recommend.

I LOVE these sandals. I had a pair years ago that in moving several times, ended up getting tossed or donated. I decided to treat myself to a new pair and they are just as wonderful as I remember. They are my go-to sandal, they are both casual and classy. In the last week I've worn them both to a baseball game and to work (in a law office). I know these will last me a long time, but I already can't wait to invest in another pair! :)

Great product! Very comfortable. Needed a narrow and the fit was perfect. I would like a better selection of colors in the narrow sizes.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I resisted by Birkenstocks because the styling was just not me, but these are so comfortable, that I am going to buy a second pair. I just wish they would make these is bright colors like red, blue and green, also.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I own! It took a couple of days to break them in and now I can't quit wearing them. Very cute and stylish. I recommend going a size down. They do fit a little bigger.

Great summer sandal. Looks great and is comfortable to really walk around in. Does not rub between toes and is daintier than the Arizona. There are videos and descriptions online of how Birks should fit. Definitely see those as a guide. I am usually a 7, the 36 is the size that fit me the best and hit my foot in the right places.

Really love this shoe. Birkenstock makes amazing shoe. I can not believe how good my feet feel at the end of the day wearing these shoes.The Mayari is stylish and comfortable. They are my go-to shoe.

Comfort delivered as I would expect from Birkenstock. Was a little surprised at the finish of the leather but I'm choosing to keep. Has a bit of a bronze finish to it.

Unfortunately, I am in between sizes in this brand...size below a little small...size I'm wearing a little large. Zappos handled the exchange quickly. The width is very adjustable with straps/buckles in two places. The style is a little clunky...but I liked this style better than the others in this brand. This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and I will buy this brand again.

These are fantastic! Super comfortable from the first moment. The space between the two straps on my foot was larger than I thought it would be, but once I got used to how it looked I was happy with it.

I LOVE these! They are a little "less bulky" than the traditional Birkenstock. I have a wide foot and a high arch. I wear an 8W or 8 1/2 and ordered size 38. They feel great on my feet. Love the silver color! Now if it would just stay warm in Minnesota so I could wear them every day.

I absolutely love these. They fit me perfectly. I'm kind of that awkward size between a 9.5 and 10, and I got a 40 which fits me perfectly. Normal width. I have wide feet, and this works perfectly. The arch support is like nothing else. I've had a series of hip, ankle, and knee problems, so I can't wear most sandals due to lack of support. I was looking for a sandal that I could easily wear while walking my dog or running errands, but that I could also dress up if I wanted, and that's exactly what I got. Worth the price. They're much cuter on than they look in the picture. I highly recommend these.

It's a fabulous shoe. If I didn't have a bunion and hammer toe the size of Mount Rushmore, I could keep. A great buy. Beautiful color and good fit...for those with normal feet.
