These are very comfy and the "Onyx" color is not black at all, nor as blue as it looks in the picture, but a really pretty kind of metallic slate or dark pewter color. Love it. I am a 7.5 or an 8, 38 or 39, depending on the brand, and am a 38 in these.

These shoes looked like an Army Green color rather than stone, however these shoes are very cute and stay on your feet well. There comfortable and stylish! Love them!

I love my new Birkenstocks! I originally ordered a 6 but needed to return then for a 5. If you have small feet, I would defiantly consider ordering a size smaller than you normally wear.

Love them. I got the Onyx and it's a great grey-blue color with a little sheen to it. Exactly what I was looking for -- casual but not too earthy. I have gold Gizehs and they're my dressy pair so I wanted a casual pair. These are more comfortable than my Gizehs because of the thong, although I think the Gizehs are more stylish. I'm a 7.5-8 and 38 is perfect. Even though I don't have wide feet at all, the regular width is fine with the straps adjusted.

I love, love this shoe, why not give us some colors in it besides just neutral colors; I wear a narrow width and it is so great to find a shoe that fits right out of the box. thanks, but do try to talk them in to some pretty summer colors.

So very happy with this shoe, I've worn it every day this week and it goes with everything! This is exactly what I was looking for, with summer temps here I found it just in time. I started with the Gizeh in blue Birko-flor and I just didn't like how that style looked on my foot, the weird flap of a thong and the plastic toe piece just didn't do it for me. I knew I wanted a pair of Birks (finally) so went back to the drawing board and found the Mayari. I love the adjustable straps as I have a very high instep and arches, so it's nice to be able to loosen it to the perfect tightness, not floppy, but not cutting off my circulation. The shoe is super comfortable, and I wear them to work in a casual office and they are well above a flip flop especially in the oiled leather, which is gorgeous. I usually wear a 9.5 and went with the 40 after reading other reviews, it fits perfectly. I have average width feet I would say, but my toe area is definitely wide and I'm glad I went with the regular width rather than the narrow. Highly recommended!

I get so many compliments on these. Very comfortable. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and find these to be comfortable all day.

I hesitated, believe me. I had flashbacks of walking around Harvard Square in the early 90s in faded jeans, a flannel wrapped around my waist (why?) and a pair of Birks on my feet. But flash-forward 20 years and here I am with rheumatoid arthritis and the sinking realization that all my pretty heels are only going to collect dust from here on out. So I cave, and opt for these. I am in LOVE and I don't care who knows. Seriously, I wear these all day everyday. And they don't seem so ugly- they're silver, after all. And the straps are less chunky. So it's a win!

These sandals were my first pair of Birkenstocks and INCREDIBLY comfortable. After having them for a month and a half or so, some of the buckles started to rust unfortunately but I will forever be loyal to Zappos for their amazing customer service to take care of the issue. I had never heard of this happening with these shoes especially so soon after buying them so I called the customer service line. Not only were they willing to let me return or exchange them for a new pair no questions asked, but paid the difference when I decided to buy a slightly more expensive pair as a courteous gesture for the defective sandals! I feel like I have won something because I have seriously never experienced such OUTSTANDING customer service, so thank you Zappos!:)

Best decision I've made all summer. I have wide feet, rather large feet (size 9) and walk a lot (as a dog walker, to and from work, etc.) so lots of summer footwear/sandals just didn't cut it and left my feet feeling sore. Now I wear these sandals all day every day even when I'm inside because they're just so dang comfortable. And they go with everything! As with all sandals, order 1/2 to a full size less than normal. I got a size 8 but I'm a size 9 in closed toe shoes.

I had to return this since it was big and the next size down is too small. I am normally a 37 (6.5) but this did not fit right.

AMAZING! I love Danskos, but was looking for something more casual for summer. So comfortable--and I wear them all day long. My feet and I are both happy. Looks great with casual summer dresses.

If you have a high arch and a medium to narrow foot, the narrow in the Mayari offers wonderful arch support. The footbed is quite comfortable. The golden brown is like a bronze and looks a bit dressier than an average Birkenstock.

The best summer sandals. I'm a mom of three little people and needed something I could slip on easily and wear all day and that would go with anything. I've gotten so many compliments on these shoes and I love how comfortable and practical they are.

Amazing customer service! I called because I ordered the wrong color and the man on the phone was beyond helpful, canceled my previous order and exchanged it for the one I originally wanted! Great website!

I've worn them all over Europe for the last month. Feet have held up well. Not even a break in blister. This is my favorite Birkenstock. So comfortable and easy to keep on. And somehow less clunky. I got the brown -- toffee I think. Very neutral & matches most everything.

Took a few days to break in, but after that they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. They molded to my feet perfectly and will be my go to summer shoes.

These are great sandals! I've had many pairs of Birks, but was getting sick of the same old style, and the Gizeh feels weird on my toes. These are great - a bit more dainty and feminine, with all the same support other Birks offer. This pair fits the same as all my other Birks.

Love these shoes! I'm a 9 1/2 with long toes (second toe longer than first) and the 40 fits perfectly. I have flat feet too and these feel great and supportive without being heavy at all. They are really light actually. I got stone color and love it! I have average to narrow feet and the regular (medium) fit perfectly.

Classic Birkenstock comfort with a cute style! Great purchase and exactly what I expected. They run true to size and are super easy to break in (not like my old pair of Birks).

I love these. I have a few birks and these are the best for staying on my foot as I walk. I got the black birkoflor, which is comfy inside and looks like leather. I usually get a narrow but in these I needed a regular. I'm on the middle hole for both buckles. I have a high arch and these have good arch support for me.

This is my 3rd pair of Mayari. I love these shoes. I've been wearing Birks and Haflingers for about 15 years and they've totally taken away my plantar fasciitis. Good, supportive shoes are so worth it. I'm so glad Birks have this cute style. They fit so well and look good. I have wider feet, especially since having kids, and these two brands fit perfectly. Plus, at this price? Yes, please!

Why did I ever stop wearing Birks? These fit from the minute I put them on. My feet - my whole body (I have arthritic hips) - relaxed, and in a few weeks my first-ever beginning corn disappeared. Not dressy at all, but oh yes, do try them!
