I would order from Zappos any day. This was my first order, and I ordered the wrong size. I called customer service the day that I received my Birkies. The very pleasant woman overnighted the correct size! I was not charged for shipping. Amazing!

This is my second pair of soft footbed Birkis. First pair was/is suede, and there was basically no breaking I needed. I got these, because the first pair is now 12 years old, and need to be reworked so I can keep wearing them. I decided to get the leather ones this time, and everything was great right out of the box, except for the edge of the leather where it hits my toes. It took a few wears and some hand manipulation to soften it up, but after 2 weeks, they are also perfect!

Great fit, great color. All around great experience. I ordered a 39 (I'm a women's 8.5) and they fit perfectly.

When I know what shoe I want and the size, I always go to Zappo first. Their prices are always competitive, they have a great selection and their service is incredibly fast. Also, they mean it when they say that returns are free. I cannot recommend them enough.

These shoes are my go-to. Since I got them, I've worn them every single day. I would highly recommend them! Normally I'm a size 9, but I got a 8-8.5 size (Euro-size 39) and they fit like a glove. Even if I didn't like them, I could return them for free and get another pair. For free! That's why Zappos will always be my #1.

I'm very particular about how my shoes fit. I normally go through many pairs before I'm happy and comfortable. 1st pair I bought were my regular size 9-9.5. Way too big. Ordered 8-8.5 fit perfectly. My toes fell right in place. Stays on effortlessly when I walk.

Let's be honest here: who didn't own a pair of Birks in college? Well, life is just too short to wear uncomfortable shoes. The look is classic trustafarian for sure, but the darker leathers paired with some distressed jeans, look good. The non-suede versions take longer to break in but look better. Also, some of the colors/treatments are softer than others. Tobacco is softer than the Amalfi. As for sizing, I wear a men's 9M in every single brand. My recommended size was 42 but they were way too long with too much material ahead of the toe. Regarding width: These have unisex sizing but I do not believe the scale well between sexes. Men: If you have an average width, I would recommend regular sizing - your foot should basically fill the foot bed. For women, the regular width just seems stupidly wide. I ordered some for my wife in regular and she was absolutely swimming. Comical even. I wish I had taken a photo. I suspect that regular will fit most men comfortably but the narrow size would be preferable for most women.

I am a Birkenstock addict. I slipped my feet into these beautiful Arizonas and it was a wonderful comfortable fit. I have foot issues, and so there are not a lot of brands that I can wear. They are so comfortable. I can wear them for hours with nary a pain. They are beautiful. The quality is excellent. I have these Arizosna in black, and they are showing wear, so I am going to have them repaired, so it is like getting a new pair. The cork and sole of the shoes can be easily repaired to make these shoes last for years. This is hands down, my favorite brand of shoes. I love them.

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for years but this is my first soft footbed pair. Compare to the usual footbed, the soft footbed is much more comfortable and feels like it offers more support. The upper leather is soft and smooth enough that I was able to wear the sandals all day from the beginning without getting any blisters. Style wise, my feet look narrower in Gizeh style which gives more feminine look.

Great shoe but my size 7.5 foot perfectly fits the 37 (stated as US size 6-6.5). The size 38 (US size 7-7.5)was just a little too long.

Great quality sandal! They look stylish and are comfortable. It takes a bit for the shoe to break in, so it'll get more comfortable the more you wear it. I had a problem with the buckles hurting the tops of my feet but it's because I had the straps done up too tight. Loosened them and they're much better now! Also, I have regular-width feet and got the narrow size.

I love Birkies. These are terrific. Too bad they're so expensive, but if I get them resoled every 2 years or so, they last for 5 or more years.

I am a woman who always wears a size 8 shoe. I ordered the size 39 because that was expected to fit 8-8 1/2. I wasn't sure exactly what the fit was supposed to be but the size 39's hurt my feet and my foot slid back and forward when I walked. There was quite a bit of room in front of my toes. The arch support did not feel like it was in the correct place. I was feeling very disappointed in the lack of comfort so I then ordered the size 38 and what a huge difference! Your heel should fit right into the heel depression. Your toes should just about fill the front part of the shoe. If you have extra shoe in front of your toes, try the next size down. The regular width seemed perfect. Getting the correct size is really important with this sandal because of the support that is built into the foot bed of the shoe. I love the 38's and the perfect comfort I now have.

Unfortunately these shoes weren't for me due to a misshapen right foot the top strap rubbed into the skin on the top of my for I was sure I was out a total cost till I got on a chat line with zappos customer service employee Snow White she was wonderful refunded my entire payment including shipping and refused to bother me with returning the shoes. I have never felt more blessed by a customer service employee

The problem with these shoes is the color. Upon receipt they are nothing like the picture online. They are not grey. They are a dirty looking brown. The shoe is great. I have them in black and have ordered another pair. Love the soft foot bed.

These say unisex but they are way to wide for the average woman. Go with the narrow in the size you normally wear and they are perfect. My teenage daughter loves them, and all her friends are wondering where she got them because they are out of stock everywhere.

Great sandal, but like all Birkenstocks - wear them at home for a few days to get straps/fit right for you. Then they are the best ever!

Beautiful leather. Super comfortable footbed. I have over 20 pairs of Birks, but this is only my third pair of soft footbed. I'll only buy the soft footbed from now on. Birenstock is almost all I wear in the summer.

I absolutely love these shoes! It took about 3 days wearing them around the house to break them in, but now they are amazing! I normally wear an 8, but got a 7.5 (38). They also run wide -- I had to use the last hole on the straps.

These are the most comfortable sandals in the world. I had been looking for something with better arch support and this is it! I wear an 8 1/2 and the 39 was perfect. Even if you wear a medium width, the narrow might be a better fit. It was for me. My daughter ordered the same sandal and loves hers as well.

I love these shoes. Right out of the box they were super comfortable. They have become one of the Spring/Summer staples.

Love! Took some time to break in, but they are so easy for summer. I wear a true 7, but always order 37 in my Birks because I don't want my feet to look huge. The 37 is perfect. Bought these in high school and gave them away when they went out of style. Big regret! Will be keeping these for the long haul.

Oh so comfortable. I've heard about Birks being uncomfortable, maybe it was the soft footbed or the type I got..but they're great!I haven't taken them off since I purchased them. I got the narrow size even though I've never purchased narrow sizes before, I just figured since they were unisex, my feet were more narrow than the "average" foot including men's since I'm a woman. They worked out perfect, I would even go as far as they could probably be more narrow. I was afraid they were going to look awkward, but they don't look narrow at all. So if you're an average woman I would definitely get the narrow. And oh, my gosh they're so cute. They go with everything!
