love the natural feel and the large toe box.

Ok, for background, I own 5 pairs of Altras and 4 pairs of Topos...I come with receipts and thousands of miles of time in all these shoes. The Magnify is the creme de la creme of Topo's whole line up. --Zero Drop!! --Wide Toe box!! --Good padding but not overly tall or stiff! --Fits true to size! --Breathable! --Great laces! I'm actually gushing. I come to purchase a second pair, found that there's no more 15s and here I am writing a review. Altra Lone Peak is my other gold standard shoe. Zero drop. Decent padding. VERY wide toe box. So hard to find a comparison...until the Magnify. Although it's a road shoe, it's so close in comparison, except the toe box is more reasonable and the overall build is tighter. I own: --Topo Athletic Ultraventure: My choice for huge ups and downs. The massive heel padding makes descents so comfy! Traction is great. Fit is great. My only hang up is the 4mm drop. --Topo Athletic Phantom 3: Similar to above, love it all the way around except for the 4mm drop. --Topo Athletic Atmos: Ugh, the worst so far. The tallest shoe with the least padding? Baffling. The Magnify is the goldilocks of shoes. I wish they made these in ten colors and in a trail shoes as well. I'd go bankrupt purchasing them.

This is my first pair of zero drop running shoes. I couldn't have made a better decision than picking this shoe! I wear minimalist/barefoot shoes all the time at work and when I strength train, so it only made sense for me to try a pair of zero drop shoes for running. These shoes have been a breath of fresh air as I've transitioned from my New Balance 880's to these for daily running purposes. Obviously the toe room is a major plus but the comfort and performance is top notch as well!

The Magnify has been my go to zero drop shoe for several years. The light weigh and extra toe box room make it comfortable enough that I have a second pair just for regular every day use. #sweepstakes

The cushioning is perfectly balanced. Too much cushion puts strain on your joints which is where Altra failed with the new Torin. Too little cushion is uncomfortable which was a problem with the Magnifly 4. This shoe is perfect. The toe box and midfoot in the Magnifly is properly sized for natural feet which is where Altra somehow messed this up by making their shoes narrower year over year. Topo keep doing what you're doing.

Technical mountain trail runs. Steep rocky up and down trails in the Boulder foothills. The Topos feel responsive and nimble with great support for uneven terrain. These are a great choice for the type of terrain I'm used to. I was worried about the first fit feel on the feet arches but after a few runs, I feel that this is actually an asset.

I got my topos yesterday and used them for the first time on a 2 mile run. Overall it felt great running with them I couldn't help but notice how comfortable they were compared to other brands I've used in the past. The wide toebox is a game changer in terms of comfort and would definitely recommend to any person that runs frequently.

Super forgiving on the lateral side of the feet. I have always encountered issues with shoes failing to accommodate my Tailor's bunions (bunions on the pinky toes), however, the Magnifly 5's mercifully maintain Topo's natural, wide foot shape, which give my pinky's some much needed breathing room. My one, and only complaint with these shoes is one that I've had with Topo shoes for quite some time (and is rather trivial in the grand scheme of things). PLEASE TOPO. GIVE US BETTER/MORE COLORS!!!

Cannot rave enough about the wide toebox / zero drop / responsive cushion / low stack height combination in a single shoe. These really are unicorn shoes because of that. I arrived at Topo as yet another refugee of Altra (which made that combo at one point [Escalante], then inexplicably pivoted to eliminate most of its wide forefoot shoes). I'm a casual, middle-age runner and I'm buying a 2nd pair to wear for 14-hour shifts on my feet in the OR. Just need to add waterproof shoe covers :)

It's difficult to answer this one because I have all different types of topos. I switched to them and have never used another brand. I'm 100% happy with 99% of my topos. So many great platforms I wish you'd make a tactical boot. Thank you and please keep the high quality and great fit #sweepstakes

The fit and build quality of Topo shoes is consistently great. However, the Zip Foam midsole leaves a lot to be desired. I find the midsole to be too firm and not very resilient. The midsole has completely compressed under the ball of my foot after only a few runs.

These really are very similar to the v4. There are a few construction changes that I think help with durability or cost, but the feel and function are the same. The top fabric is a little stretchier. I'm very grateful they didn't redesign. I use these for step aerobics while wearing CorrectToes. I get good agility and enough cushion for the pounding of this activity. The v5 are just a little softer than 2023 Altra Escalante Race so I get less forefoot pain with the Magnifly 5. #sweepstakes

After being fed up with Altra's sizing bi-polarism, one shoe would fit, the next update wouldn't, etc. I took at shot at Topo. I wanted the following; zero drop, roomy toe box, cushion, size 15. I got it all with these. I would love to find a shoe with even more cushion with similar construction, but these are getting the job done now! I also enjoy how cool my feet stay.

I have owned several ST4s, an ST5 pair and now these magniflys. I'm grateful that Topo makes these zero drop, wide toe box shoes that allow for strengthening of the feet even while running long distances.

Bigger toe box is just what I needed. So much more comfortable on my old beat-up 60 year old feet!!!

I have run in the Magnafly for a few years as well as Altra Torin. This new model is as good, if not better than the 4. I love that Topo has not moved away slight tweaks to the shoe and not gone into ruining a good thing by piling on millimeters of more cushion with the "fly" series. Great feel and cushion as well as a secure upper along with responsiveness.

Are used to only buy Altra. They however have gone downhill and reduced their natural foot sheep shoe selection. So I thought I would give Topo a try. These shoes are everything Altra wanted to be but never quite achieved.

I use these mostly for self-powered incline treadmill walking, sled pushing, walking outside and a little running and wanted something that was supportive in the midfoot, had some active and passive arch support but had room in the toe box for natural toe placement. Out of the box, it's the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn. Maybe 4-5 miles per day for about a week and no hotspots, and zero foot, lower leg, knee, hip or lower back soreness. Outstanding, this pair exceeded my expectations.

I've been with Topo since the originals (ST-1, MT-1, Fli-lyte-1, even the Otero). These are true to the original Topo fit and feel. I really enjoyed the Magnifly-3s and am already loving the 5th gen. I prefer the zero drop Magnifly over the Fli-lytes for running, walking, and wearing at work.

I was ride or die for Altra for many years, but after ruining my favorite runners, I was excited to try Topo. The sizing and foot shape is the same as older Altras (hooray!). The platform is very stable, but the ride is not very bouncy. Honestly, this isn't a big deal as midsoles flatten within 50 miles anyways. The runner's loop is great and the laces don't untie. Tongue is very plush. So far so good!!! We'll see how durable they turn out, but I'm excited to get more runs in.
