I previously purchased and liked very much the ST-4 model. When those were no longer available, I purchased the Magnify 5.
THe ST-4 fit perfectly and felt very good walking 2.5-3.5 miles a day.
The Magnify 5 do not feel as comfortable walking and the toe area is too wide. My feet feel sloppy in the shoe. Would not purchase again.

I'm impressed with the Magnifly 5 and the main reasons are the upgraded zip foam, lightweight mesh upper, and comfortable fit! So far, the upgraded zip foam is much more comfortable than previous models. The lightweight mesh is great, breathable. The fit is very good, however I do find that I need a med/max cushioned sock to make the shoe fit just right... I won't knock the shoe for that, it's more of a fine tuning aspect for me personally. I highly recommend the Magnifly 5!

#sweepstakes I actually use these shoes for work as a physical therapist since I stand on my feet, walk, run and move all day and they are an absolute dream. Light, airy, wide toe box that is the perfect fit between support and comfort.

I bought these for my husband who has arthritic feet and toes. He says it's like walking on pillows and he has plenty of toe room!!!! Have been doing a lot of walking on vacation and he says his feet do not hurt!!!! So hard to find him comfortable shoes with a wide toe area! He loves them!!!! # sweepstakes

I purchased the Magnafly as my everyday shoe. I own several other pairs of Topos for both trail and road that I train in daily. My only concern is that like the other wide toe box brand, it feels like they are starting to make the outside of the toe box narrower causing my little toes to feel smashed.

After trying the Specters, I thought I didn't like Topos. I've been buying my shoes a half size too large it seems (foot issue).
I've been running for 4 years and the magniflys are the best fitting shoes I've ever had. They just hug my feet so well and I do not get any rubbing.
Only downside is how flat the shoe feels. It doesn't feel like there's much under the shoe but I know that's part of the package. I don't dock it points for that, just have to use it for the proper application.

They butchered this shoe. The tongue is too long! And stiff. And the quality control is awful, each individual shoe is different. The collar height on one of them is a full 5mm higher than the other and the tongue is 5mm longer on one too. I tried multiple pairs, couldn't find two that matched.
Nobody wants these long, stupid, tongues!

They are my favorite walking shoes for my early morning walks. I wanted a wide toe shoe that was really a wide toe box shoe. These fit the bill.

These are my first Topos, after a string of some good and not so good Altras, after finally taking my PT's advice and trying zero-drop shoes. The Altra Rivera 2's were overall(for my foot) more comfortable and stable, mostly because of the lower stack height. Sadly, it seems too many companies want a share of the Hoka market with their mongo stacks(but poor longevity). Others I got advice from, including my PT, with Topo would offer more low-stack options, I sure would. Walk on..

These are just my walking / recovery shoes, I don't run in them, but they are literally the exact shoe I wanted when i tried to buy the Altra Escalante's. Something with some cushion and zero drop, with a roomy toe box. These far and away surpass them in build quality and in comfort. Only downside is I wish they had some better colorways :'-) which is not a new complaint for this brand. Only complaint at all!

Perfect balance of zero drop, wide toe box, cushioning, and durability. Walking and hybrid endurance/strength classes. Please don't ruin them with the next iteration ;)

Super light and well made. After mile 11, 12 though, I start to feel the road pounding back. I noticed this with the previous model as well. So, not great for more than a half marathon in my option. I really wish they would come out with a zero drop shoe made foe long distance. They don't leave us any choice but to go to there competition for that though. 28 mm Magnifly Max?
The other thing is, I think the last middle front foot pad should be rub like the surrounding ones. It's always the first to wear out.

I loved the fit and style of these shoes but they had way too much arch support. Why put so much arch support in a zero-drop shoe with minimal cushioning. It makes no sense to me.

These shoes fit and feel amazing. The toe box is roomy without feeling sloppy, and the midfoot hugs my foot just right. Whether it's a short jog or a long-distance run, my feet feel great.

Use Topo's for all road and trail runs , including all trail ultra races. The comfort and toe box are the best features of all their shoes.

It's hard for first time use a middle cushion shoes, but after first week everything works perfectly, you really feel your foot position on the ground, makes you aware how to correct your footprint

I use these for road running and some walking. So far the fit and feel of them are excellent. My one concern is the durability of the foam sole; the foam seems like someone that will get eaten up by the road, and I am cautious about the thin grip that's protecting that foam.
Still, it's nice to have shoes that actually fit me.

Not “minimalist” or “near-barefoot” and does not have “optimal cushioning,” nor are they good for “intense workouts.” Other than that the description is spot on.
They are in no way minimalist or near barefoot. And while Topo lists them as having a medium level of cushion, it is really a high/max. After only 6 weeks of using them just to walk around the foam has softened so much that every step feels unstable. I could not imagine anyone wearing these for an “intense workout” without rolling their ankles every 30 seconds because there is no lateral structure whatsoever.
The shape of the shoe is great (hooray for a wide toebox) but the structure is just awful.

These are some of the lightest shoes I have ever owned. The toebox is nice and oversized and the you would never guess these were zero drop shoes. As much as I loved my Magfly 4's, these were and upgrade. #sweepstakes
