These are just my walking / recovery shoes, I don't run in them, but they are literally the exact shoe I wanted when i tried to buy the Altra Escalante's. Something with some cushion and zero drop, with a roomy toe box. These far and away surpass them in build quality and in comfort. Only downside is I wish they had some better colorways :'-) which is not a new complaint for this brand. Only complaint at all!

I use these mostly for self-powered incline treadmill walking, sled pushing, walking outside and a little running and wanted something that was supportive in the midfoot, had some active and passive arch support but had room in the toe box for natural toe placement. Out of the box, it's the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn. Maybe 4-5 miles per day for about a week and no hotspots, and zero foot, lower leg, knee, hip or lower back soreness. Outstanding, this pair exceeded my expectations.

The overall fit for my foot is perfect. Grateful that Topo makes a 0 drop wide toe box shoe. The cushion and ride are smooth for my mileage (10 mile long runs).

This shoe is exactly as advertised. They fit like a glove, true to size and very very comfortable wide toe box. They're firm/responsive or "balanced" as marketed. So for me personally as a heavier runner they fall into a 3-4 mile road run distance (I could easily double that distance on trails). This would be a really great hiking shoe as well for non runners since the stack height isn't too high and it isn't super soft you feel very stable and grounded. Side note: I'm not recommending this shoe be changed, but rather in addition to this shoe (if there is market demand) this shoe fit and feel with a 30mm stack height, zero drop but very plush for longer runs similar to Atmos ( which I also love) but with zero drop as appose to 5mm and you guys would have a sick shoe line up!

These shoes are perfect for my 68 year old feet. The roomy toe box, light overall weight, and supportive yet stable sole adds up to a great pair of comfortable shoes. I also like the natural feel of the zero drop sole.

I have been wearing Topo brand shoes for 5+ yrs. I am a barefoot trainer, and have always recommended wide toe box footwear to my clients. Healthy feet, equal better posture and balance skills!

They fit well

These shoes are ideal for smaller or lighter runners and best suited for moderate distances. I retired from the marathon after Boston 2011 and now run mostly 5 and 10ks and an occasional half-marathon. If I were still in the marathon game, I wouldn't be using them for long runs. But for where I'm at now, they are perfect! The Magnifly bucks the trend of shoes with substantial stack heights and uber-cushioning. They remind me of shoes from a bygone era when runners liked some cushioning while still feeling in touch with the ground underneath.

I use these mostly for running on the road and sidewalks, maybe 8 to 12 miles a week, and occasionally for a 3-5 mile walk with my wife on paved or gravel trails. I bought this same model last year this time and was glad to find it still available. The old ones weren't completely worn out (see pic), but it's nice to get fresh kicks when you have old bones. They may be rated Low for cushion, but at 25mm it's the highest end of low. My casual shoes are "barefoot" so these feel nice and soft. I keep buying Topos because of the big toe box and the zero drop. I did this review for the #sweepstakes but that didn't influence the content.

I should be giving Topo the Sweepstakes prize! These Magniflys5 have reintroduced me to the ground with balance, comfort and a willingness to go farther. With appreciation, Ken

Our feet are shaped like a trapezoid, yet we have been squeezing them into torpedo shaped shoes for centuries. Thank you TOPO making running shoes that fit my foot shape and have the cushioning systems that allows me to run far, safely feeling the road beneath my. Running the way we were met to run

I don't normally do reviews but I just have to say that the TOPO shoes are the best shoes out there. This is an incredible shoe that is super comfortable and I love my zero drop. I have also used the ST-5 and it is also amazing. I am lower to the ground so I use them more for street walking and the Magnify 5 when I get to an uneven or rocky terrain. Just try them and you will see. Great shoes. Thanks you Topo.

I had to get a 15, since the 14 was a tad too small. Even with a little extra room in the toolbox, best fitting athletic shoes I've ever had. I have been walking several hours a day since I first got them, with no break-in needed. Amazing!

A well built running shoe. Natural toe box, zero drop, enough padding, durable rubber solesnow don't change anything.

I hvae a wide foot and Topo shoes just fit. The wider toe box consistently fits when new and I'm not constantly searching to see if there is a wider size available. I run a lot in the Atmos but decided to try the 0-drop magniflys and love them. They feel light and offer the same stability I am used to with their products. They are lighted and less cushiony than the Atmos but still great for training and racing. I do reccomend these shoes. #sweepstakes

Comfort in the tow box

I'm an amateur runner, and I wear barefoot shoes typically. I love these so much. They're so comfortable, the perfect level of cushion, and prefer the fit more than Altras.

I love this show and have used the last 3 models for my everyday trainer!!! I will always keep coming back to this shoe!

Have several other brand zero heel drop -Altra and Birkenstock and this compares very favorably. Really like Topo's toe box. Wish I could get black on top with grey sole. Feel little bit more of heel drop with Topo than other two brands. Transition is little more noticeable to me which is only slight negative for me. But like them very much. I have 7 other Topo pairs of shoes including ST5 new zero drop. Like it as well but it is smaller over all shoe. I like normal size better myself but for running or outdoor trail maybe some prefer the smaller overall feel of the ST5.
