First off, I run for distance not speed. I can't speak to how these shoes work for faster training, but for long easy to moderate paced running, they are as good as any shoe I have run in. Of course, the toe box has tons of room, but the shoe itself almost disappears on my foot. It's like running in socks with a soft bed between my foot and the pavement. Not squishy, just soft. For those that prefer lighter shoes, I do too, but I don't notice the "extra"weight at all. I would easily give these shoes five stars except for one issue. The tongue is TOO SHORT. I have to tie them different than I like in order to keep the laces on top of the tongue. Just another 1/4" and I could agrue these are my perfect shoe. I hope this is addressed, as I could see myself running in the Atmos for a long time. Regardless, I'm pretty sure my first pair will not be my last.

Wow! My size 10 weighs 10.4 oz but you would never know it! Great cushioning and yet feels light and responsive. Ran 7 easy miles right out of the box. The improved Zipfoam and classic Topo fit make this my go-to shoe for long runs hands down!

l was looking for a shoe that had this roomy natural toe box because other brands where giving me a bunion as they crunched my bigtoe inward. I want something all black. ALL. BLACK. Something I might even wear with a suit. I've got no problem running in a suit. I tried Hoka Bondis WIDE but they didn't quite solve the problem. They were all black , had great cushion and a nice "roll" so I bought them , I did run a few marathons in them because of the nice heel cushioning and rolling geometry. A few months ago I saw Altra came out with an all black shoe with acceptable cushioning so I bought them. I new right away I liked a natural roomy toe box but their neutral sole did not seem enjoyable for running. They are quite acceptable for wearing with a suit in my opinion. Two weeks later the Topo ALL BLACK Atmos came out . And it had nice cushion, a decent roll and importantly a forward drop which significantly improves the roll. I added a 3/4 gel sole to make it even more enjoyable, I'm wearing them right now at work "dressy casual" and have no problem running in them or wearing them confidently with a suit. When I became a vegan , I got rid of all my leather shoes. These are just great. If TOPO makes a version of ATMOS with ALL these great characteristics PLUS a nice grippy trail sole in ALL BLACK I will surely buy it. (a generous cushioned stack height , a nice roll, a nice drop) Ummm did I mention I want it in ALL BLACK? Please do make the tongue just a bit longer and I honestly don't know every manufacture doesn't have a little cushion or padding on the end of the tongue under the point we tie it.

This is my first pair of Topo I've ever tried. The Atmos cushioning is great without sacrificing support. Very comfortable for walking and hiking. I don't use them to run but I assume they would be great. I'm very happy with them.

I have been a big Topo fan since Altra stopped making wide toe box shoes (fr the most part). I have found that Topo's shoes are more durable and fit better overall. I typically wear the Phantom model but decided to try the Atmos with the additional cushioning. While there is a lot to like (the additional cushioning feel great), there are a couple things that I am not too fond of. One: The tongue length...it is way too short. I use the heal lock lacing technique, and there is barely enough tongue length to do that. Also, the arch support is not as good...though I usually use my own insoles to help with that, But my insoles do not work as well in the Atmos. Harder to secure my feet and keep my heel from slipping some. Which just makes using the the heel lock lacing more challenging with the short tongue length, I'll stick with the Phantom!

Per every Topo i purchase I go 1/2 size up or my toes are pushing through the shoe after a few uses. Normal 10. Go 10.5. These shoes are great for walking on hard surfaces. Thye are nice and light and seem well made.

First, having large sizes is a huge plus! Second, they are light as well. Large box toe is comfortable and support is amazing.

My husband has really bad feet and he loves his Topos. He has worn them for several years.

I am primarily a trail runner and love topos roomy toe box. They really fit my feet. For road running and power walking it appreciate the cushion and ride of the Atmos.

At work, I am on my feet for 9 hrs every day. I have Raynaud's and Ledderhose diseases in my feet.. and wide feet as well. My podiatrist recommended Atmos the yr they came out. I After trying many other expensive shoes, these are the best for my feet. I do get men's as my feet are wide, but they are great- especially with and added air cushion insole

I've been impressed with the Atmos running shoe and running in them for a couple of years now. It fits great right out of the box and stays comfortable even on longer runs. They are reasonably responsive for trainer with a high level of cushioning. One of my favorite features is the roomy toe box. Due to nerve damage in my foot, I wear toe spacers during runs. But even with the toe spacers on, my toes have plenty of space. If you're looking for a shoe that delivers comfort, solid cushioning, and a generous toe box, the Atmos is absolutely worth trying. #sweepstakes

I have been looking for a pickleball shoe that fits my foot, which is actually bigger in the toe area and I found it! I have been using the phantom four for the past several days and it has been a blessing even though I had to put an insole to make it just a little bit bigger. It fits perfectly when I'm playing pickle ball :-)
