Great casual shoes that are overall pretty comfortable and cute. Cons: laces do not stay tied and heel can rub a little.

A great shoe but the sizing is totally off! I think they are at least a full size larger than the number stated. Luckily someone else in the family could wear them.

This shoe is pretty cute and comfortable, especially for the price! I think it may need just a little breaking in so that it doesn't rub but it shouldn't take much.

It isn't often that my mom, grandma, and I all have the same taste in shoes, but it happened here. We've all loved our mocs and all worn them differently. These run on the slightly larger end of "true to size." I wear an 8.5, and they're a little loose in the heel. But, I'm certain that I'd swim in a 9. They are light, well-cushioned, and extremely comfortable. They're perfect for spring and fall- the leather is warm in the evening, but breathes in the heat of the day.

As with other reviews, I ordered a smaller size; I'm an 8, I ordered 7.5. I have wider feet, but the mocs fit snugly and comfortably. I haven't worn them longer than a few hours; I imagine like many flats that wouldn't be good for my feet. I love the design, the beads and bow were in tact and seem sturdy (my cat hasn't managed to detach them).

I love my Minnetonka, I got it in wine and black. I wear size 9 and sized down to 8 1/2. while the 8.5 in the wine fits ok, the black is still a little off. They are comfortable though and have become my go to shoes, gotta get more colors. Zappos next day delivery is a plus!

They changed the cord that ties in front. It's really thick now and it never stays tied, I almost tripped literally 5 different times because the thick cord would not stayed tied. Really stupid change. Otherwise they are comfortable and beautiful as always and Zappos has great service. These just used to me my favorite moc in the world. I have 4 different pairs in awful condition that I can't replace because they just aren't the same.

This shoe was exactly what I wanted for wearing around inside my house, though I would have preferred it without the beading. I expect the shoe to stretch. My only complaint is that the laces kept coming untied, but I tied them really tight and they are more solid now. I only gave the shoe 3 stars for style because, as cute as these shoes are, I'm not sure that they are "in style".

These definitely run big. I ordered a half size down from my usual 8, and still have to return them.

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered...just to save time and energy on Zappos side! I ordered 7 1/2 and when I received the first pair, there was a slight malfunction with the lacing, so I called to exchange them which was of course no problem at all with Zappos. I decided at that time to get a 1/2 size smaller because they felt very loose. I received the 1/2 size smaller and they were still loose. I called Zappos up again for the second time regarding same shoe for another size exchange. They were 100% understanding and accommodating with no extra hassles or fees! In the end, I would suggest getting a full size smaller than what you normally wear. The slightest bit of moisture on the leather and they will stretch a bit.

Am I the only one that listened to the reviews and ordered a half size smaller than normal and it it was tight? They worked out fine, but it took a lot of breaking them in and stretching them out to get a perfect fit. Anyway, the shoes are awesome. This is my third pair of yellow deerskin Thunderbirds -- they must always be in my closet because they go with anything! This is the first time I ordered the rubber soled ones (the other pairs I had were the smooth deerskin with foam bottoms -- I prefer the smooth deerskin, but the rubber sole is so much more durable!) and they are still great. The only thing is that my dark jeans bleed onto the tops of the shoes (it washes out easily, but still a hassle) and the shoes themselves bleed onto my socks. I've had them for about 3 months now and they are still bleeding a little. They are a great shoe once broken in and I'm glad I have them.

I fell in love with the wine colored moccasin but the only size that was near my size 6 was a 5.5. So I took the risk and regretted it for the first few wears. They actually gave me a blister in my ankle. After bandaging it up and wearing them continuously (since they got so many compliments), they stretched out and are now my new favorite everyday wear shoes. I just love them! Something that may annoy some, and got on my nerves today was that the laces kept untying. It was tedious to walk around campus and having to bend over to tie them frequently. Overall: I would buy these again in a heartbeat, just in my actual size.

These are so cute but really hurt my feet. They need to be broken in b4 long days w/ lots of walking/running. They felt too narrow until broken in.

I ordered a pair originally in 7, which is my normal size, but they were too large so I ordered them in a 6.5. They were extremely uncomfortable to wear for the first week. I covered my feet in mole skin, which made them more bearable. Also, in the black they leave the bottom of your feet filthy. It doesn't happen anymore though. They have to be broken in. Also, if the ties start untying, there is no going back. They are impossible to stay tied. I just tied mine in a ton of knots. They are cute, though.

Great shoe, very comfy. I wear a size 9.5 and ordered a 9 because I had read they run small. But they we too tight. So I ordered a 9.5 and they are a tad too big, especially since they are leather. However, that being said they are comfy and look good. Glad I bought them.

I have a size 6C shoe size. I had ordered a size six and returned it for 5 which fits perfectly. Having said that, the dusty brown is a rich gorgeous brown suede. Super cute, beadwork is more subtle than I thought. The nubby bottoms even have a slight massage effect. Love these! Don't forget to order down a bit!

Wow! Way too big. I should have listened to the other reviews. I couldn't believe they could run that big! But they do, I always wear a 7 1/2, but these were so big, had to send back for a 7.

I love how adorable these are but they are really narrow. Yes the suede stretches out but the hard cord that stitches the top on hits my foot at the narrowest point and is very hard and uncomfortable agains the bones of my foot. I also have a pair of the studded moccs from Minnetonka and while I think the cut is not as cute they are much more comfortable. If your feet are wide I'd go for a different style of Minnetonkas. Width of shoes is rarely a problem for me, but it is for this style.

I usually wear an 8 and bought a size 7. I've had them about a month and have worn them a lot. They haven't worn in to the point where they are completely comfortable. I ordered a size 8 as well and agree that they run very big- the size 8 was too big from the start. I wish there were half sizes as this 7 is still just a bit tight. Other than being tight, they're great. The color is beautiful, and they're comfortable with the exception of my toes. I'm holding out hope that they continue to stretch!

Great, but with one issue. I tried them on; I got two different colored pairs, a gray and the taupe. The colors in person were just what I expected. But when I tried them on, it felt wider and bigger on my feet. I am true 6 1/2, but I got 7 thinking it might give me more room. Well it gave me room alright! Too much! Had I known and listened to the other reviews I would have never gotten a size bigger than my shoe size. But I want them so bad and the only sizes left were 7 and up! In the end I am still happy to have gotten them, but I have learned my lesson. They are incredibly comfortable and feel so good on my feet. Thanks Zappos for the 1-day shipping!

Cute moccasins! Very well made, excellent quality. Though they are comfortable, they do not have very good arch support.

Shoes run really big. Order 1/2 size smaller than your usual size. Very cute an dcomfortable.

As a Minnesotan, I often sported Minnetonka Mocs as a child, so I snapped up this adorable grownup version recently. I get lots of compliments on them when I'm strolling around town. That being said, they are not the highest quality shoes you can purchase, although they are a good value for the money. The shoes run considerably larger than marked (I always wear a size 7, and I am sporting a size 5.5 in this shoe), and they stretch out quickly. I bought a pair for each of my bridesmaids, and all of them fit into a size 1-1.5 smaller than they normally wear.

Super cute casual shoe. I ordered a 9 and I am usually a 9-9.5. My toes were at the end of the shoe. I really wanted these to work for me. Unfortunately they run small in the toe area and wide around the middle and back of shoe. I'm afraid after they stretch out the the length will be okay, but the width way too wide. Didn't seem to work well for a narrow foot with wide toes.

I love Minnetonka, but these were a little weird on my feet, but not weird enough to return. I still love them after the first week of wearing them.
