The very same day I used these boots, I slipped on ice and broke my right arm. After recovering, I started using them at the beginning of May, and now they've started to break. The quality is terrible, after 3 months of use.

Boots fell apart after only 3 months of typical wear. Timberland claims it's normal wear and tear and isn't covered under warranty.

This shoe is junk, unlike my Chocorua's from Timberland.
Cons:
Shallow sole lugs, short tongues, minimal padding, sewn-on plastic eyelets, and uppers are mostly synthetic canvas.

I wear Timberland hiking boots exclusively, different models, depending on what I can find in my size when I need them. So when these arrived, I noticed right away the lacing pattern looked different. Seems there are 7 pairs of eyelets here, rather than the 6 pairs that have been on my other boots. This causes the laces to be very difficult to adjust; it't even difficult to loosen the laces to remove the boots. Unfortunately I 've already been tromping around outside so can't return them. And, where is the little pull tab that is normally on the back ? I didn't notice its absence in the picture when I was ordering. Oh, well.......Other than that, the fit and comfort is as good as it always has been.

Had this shoe for little over a month and now its falling apart!! Nothing but garbage! I would not recommend this shoe to nobody! Sad how we pay a lot of money for a shoe just to have it fall apart a month later
