The boot is very attractive, so my wife says, and is very comfortable for hiking, walking around town and working outside. I'm very happy with the feel and quality of the boot. I would say the only recommendation would be more cushion in the heel of the sole. I have used timberland for boots for many years and they hold up well for many years.

I really like this shoe..except the bottoms of the sole wear out faster then usual..the compound could be a harder material...but other then that its a great shoe.!!!

I used to purchase boots for work only. The style and comfort has improved over the years and now I find myself wearing boots for all occasions. I admittedly have purchased other brands but always find myself coming back to Timberland for their comfort and quality.

I was looking for a light weight durable trail boots. Since some of the material is suede, I will not wear them for hiking on rugged terrain. They are very comfortable and stylish. I have gotten many compliments on the look. Once I have had them for awhile, I will send in comments on the durability.

Hike 6 miles per day. Half asphalt and half gravel. To Date = 54 miles in these boots. Break in took 40 miles. Cons: 1.Blister: Still have Blister on right heel. 2. Ankle: Inside Right ankle was sore through 40 miles. This was due to rubbing up against part inside ankle padding that attaches outside Hook Eyelet. Pros: 1. Sturdy - No breakdown of any material or stichibg above the sole 2. Comfortable- After break in period of 40 miles, ankle pain went away. Hard to tell boots are even on during each hike. 3. Sole - Slight wear on heal and outside ball - nothing significant 4. Grip - excellent. I do have to go down hill on 20% grade for 70 feet on loose gravel, no slip Overall 1. I Recommend these boots 2. Water Resistance = ?? - No rain or puddles where I live yet

"Thanks Timberland sent me this free product through the BzzAgent sampling program." First impression is the style. It is a hiking boot, but looks classic for minimal stylist and dressed up. True to size and look durable. I was surprised how super light weight they are. I didn't wear it when raining, but had tested on the snowing day for waterproof feather. I wish they add more cushion to support around my ankles as they often get sores and tired after a long walk. I still really like it so far.

I tried the Timberland Mt Maddsen Mid Lace boots and loved it! It's built very sturdy and has waterproof leather. The sole is very comfortable to walk and also hike in. I found that they give me the support I need in the walks and my feet feel great after several hours of hiking. Another great feature is that they're also not hot or sweaty to my feet and they're comfortable and warm.

My boyfriend love the shoes too much since its very comfortable. The shoes fit well to our outdoor activities like hiking or walking since its light material and waterproof as well. He usually 9.5 but 9 is fit well on him. Timberland is quality brand that we trust.

These hiking boots are great. They are very well built and perfect for warm weather hiking. I say warm weather because of the excellent ventilation these have. They do however have nice support and reinforcements in let areas do they don't break down or get damaged. I made the mistake of sizing down and they were too small. Order your usual size and you'll be good. I received these for free to review. That being said, I would definitely repurchase these when they wear out. I really like the look of these as well. Very stealthy.
