I heard people rave about compression socks but the all-black or all-white ones I saw looked so dorky I figured I'd rather get a blood clot than look like one of those clowns. And even worse, I picked up a pair once and saw what they were made out of- guaranteed to stink after 15 minutes. But then I saw these Smartwool bad boys! Colors are awesome and made from my favorite fabric of all time- merino wool. That guarantees comfort, incredible thermal regulation, durability, perhaps best of all- non-stink. I am now a die-hard fan of certain compression socks- Smartwool. I plan to be buried with them on. Already looking at other colors.

Comfy.

These are good for running or for someone with mild edema issues. Not a really tight uncomfortable compression. Definitely not for moderate to severe edema

Excellent quality from Smartwool, as usual. These socks are great for runs and especially if you work on your feet for extended periods of time. They greatly mitigate swelling in my ankles and feet.

Easy to put on and very comfortable. When I went for my annual physical my doctor saw them on me and was impressed.

These are GREAT compression socks to wear on the plane or a conference or anywhere you'll be sitting around. They are so comfortable that you don't realize you have them on.

Very nice lightweight merino sock with perfect balance of compression - not too tight in the calf with good git through the ankle - just couldn't have been happier with their comfort on some initial long hikes.

Got these in black b/c that color was about $20 off the price of the other colors. I'm on my feet a lot as a schoolteacher, so compression socks help (I also have a heart issue). These seem like they'll be fantastic........... although I have not tried them yet.

I'm on my feet a lot for work and have tried numerous pairs of compression socks. These are by far my favorite pair. Very comfortable and do not get hot like other pairs.

I routinely use Smartwool running socks with targeted cushioning. I work in retail and participate in Marathons, and I have experienced compartmental syndrome in my lower legs. I haven't had perfect experiences with compression socks before and wasn't aware that Smartwool had the option to purchase them. They feel just like my running socks and they keep my edema in check!

This is a the perfect compression sock. Comfortable and get the job done!

Ordered some fo rmyself and husband. Both are perfect fit. Like the loser feeling at the top of the sock so it does not cut into my leg but gives me the support I expected in the calf area. Softwool socks feel great as usual and keep my feet dry and warm.

Great compression socks that keep me dry in summer through great wicking capability and at the same time keep me warm during winter. Also, they don't end up getting bunched up and slip down like other compression socks I've used.
