Got my mom the blue ones for compression and warmth during her long morning walks. She joked that they look like my uncle's support socks. She's not wrong. Who cares, they'll be under her pants anyway. You won't be winning any style points wearing them with khaki cargos though.

Bought these for upcoming long haul flight. Previous pairs from other companies were too tight or uncomfortable below the knee. Tested these out by wearing to work where I am on my feet all day. Very comfortable and supportive.

I'm a new runner that signed up for a half marathon and bought these socks when I started training. They have been great, keeping my legs fresher for longer and speeding up recovery.

I've worn Smartwool socks for years so when I needed warm compression socks, Smartwool was the first source I checked out. They have not disappointed me in any way. Since I wear them almost daily, they must be comfortable and warm. They are all that and more!

I love all my Smartwool running socks.. For compression, though, I've generally chosen something else. But I'm thrilled I tried these. They're now my favorite. The lower portion, on the foot and above the ankle, is just like all my other Smartwool socks but with more compression. Just what I wanted. What makes these great, though, is that the upper portion is very nicely reduced compression. So many other compression socks are too tight for me in the upper area. This is mostly because the size range. I'm a size 9 so choosing a size range that goes up to 11 is challenging. Usually they're too tall/long and, thus, the compression is too much right at the base of the knee. These fix that problem for me, finally! Also, after washing, they shrink a little. Normally, this is bad but for this sizing range and my foot size, it works. They'll stretch a little after wearing but then come back to a good compression size after washing.

I've not had them very long, but they are clearly the most comfortable compression socks that I've worn.

I wear compression every day, and Love Smartwool compression. I do wish they made more of these and in different colors, but no matter - I will continue to buy these!

I got these for my daughter in law, who is a nurse. She is on her feet all day. She specifically requested them, and she says they are wonderful.

Great breathable compression socks. Wears thin in under two years, but the warranty replacement lets you get another pair.

Had DVT in both legs and these are way better than I have used.

I use this sock for cycling, hiking, strength training, and everyday activities. The fit is secure and not to tight with larger than average size calves.

These quickly have become my favorite compression socks. Especially in cool weather it's nice to have compression integrated with the sock (as opposed to wearing compression sleeves)

That is an excellent pair of socks if you are on your feet for 5+ hours. These socks are built to last for heavy use.

New to compression socks. Have been trying a few different kinds and find Smartwool is one of the best fits. They are not to tall and stay up all day. I'm not constantly having to adjust and pull up. I do find that when putting on you have to make sure you are putting them on straight i.e. Ribs run vertical. The under foot cushion is good and comfortable.

I currently use them because I have bad blood circulation in the legs. But I will soon use them in fall and winter time as regular day-to-day socks. That's how confortable they are :)

My Doctor recommended I wear Compression Socks for leg swelling so I purchased Smart Wool Over the Calf Socks and my decision was the best. The socks are so very comfortable and cozy to wear. They are awesome and feel great regardless of the temperature and I wear them every day! I love the Smart Wool socks and the Compression Socks, unlike other brands, are not difficult to put on.

Great plantar padding; snug calf fit

This is my third time with Smartwool compression socks. First was outstanding, so a second time followed a few years later. The second time was "ski compression" socks and were a total bust and got a "would not purchase ever again" rating. For the third time, tried again with "run" compression socks. These hit it right out of the park! Perfect fit, feel, and compression gradient. Couldn't be happier.

I am 88 years and purchased the Run Compression Socks to control swelling of my feet and calves. They are wonderful -- fit just tight enough and keep my daytime swelling to a minimum. I bought three pairs, to rotate every 3 days. The only problem is taking off the socks -- I roll them down from my calves but must work hard to remove them from the heels -- they fit tight! But, I will buy the Run Compression socks again. They are very good compression socks that feel good and comfortable.

Fastastic quality, padding and comfort - highly recommend

So far, really good in hot Houston. Nice compression. No itching. Comfy. Thinking about buying another pair.
