Smartwool is already my favorite brand; but they went above and beyond with these. The sale price is great. I love the compression, they are comfortable enough for an 8 hour shift. They are not too tight or too itchy. I bought them to help small spider veins starting. It's only been a few weeks but I think they are helpful; I'd definitely buy the purple if they went on sale. Highly rec!

Love these for long trail runsmy feet feel dry and never get too hot or cold. Plus the compression is perfect.

Broke my ankle first time using these. Kept my ankle from swelling and got whisked into surgery that same day. Unfortunately the paramedic had to cut it off so now I only have one sock.

This sock is exactly the right calf length for a size medium, unlike Comrad and Sockwell socks. It ends at exactly the right place on my calf for comfort. This sock is very cushioned and so soft you would never know it is wool. It is a superb sock for a compression sock.

My vascular specialist advised me to start wearing compression socks and suggested several brands. I checked them out but didn't want to look like I was a candidate for a nursing home. The owner of my favorite locally owned independent shoe store suggested I try these instead. I bought my first pair from her. Two weeks later I bought another pair online. If they came in more colors, I'd buy those as well! These are FANTASTIC compression socks. Great looking, relatively easy to put on/take off, and they work my varicose veins literally disappear after wearing them! Tip of the hat for making a great product, Smartwool.

These are by far the most expensive socks I have ever purchased and also by far the best! They are thick, warm and very cushioned. They are also good at airing out if you are wearing them during a multi-day hike or travel. The fit is perfect, unlike other premium wool compression sock brands where the calf is too long. They are so comfortable that I never mind wearing them all day. I will be buying more of these!

Looking forward to trying these, as they were recommended by my doctor. However my hands are not strong enough to pull them on. I will take them with me to PT to see if they can help me get them on.

Comfortable and soothing.

These have padding in all the right places and offer the cushioning to avoid blisters on long runs. The compression is also great.

I put them on immediately and am reluctant to take them offthey are just so comfy, supportive, and cozy! But alasthey do wash well, stay fresh for about a weekvery good quality. So I bought a second pair because when they are drying I need a replacement! Hurrah for winter!

I absolutely love my new socks (Women's Run Compression Over The Calf Socks). This is my first pair of this style. Snug, seamless fit, good compression but not constricting, no falling down or shifting in my shoes. Went for a run yesterday and mid-way decided to buy more pairs.

I work in my feet all day and these prevent fatigue! It's amazing. I love them. I don't want to wear any other socks.

These socks are absolutely best support socks. I have found so far. They're easy to put on compared to other compression socks and they deliver adjust the right amount of compression needed for my work as a nurse, for flights, and for general wear during winter. So glad I found them. Yes, these are expensive, but I hope they last.

I get vasculitis on the back of my lower calf anytime I walk a lot (theme parks, hiking, etc). I've always hated compression socks in the past, but had only dried the drugstore variety. I just finished a hiking trip. I didn't use them while actually hiking, but did use for recovery, and wow! I love them! My calves quit itching just a few minutes after I put them on, and when I took them off a couple of hours later, the red splotches had lightened considerably. Wearing them now in the airport for the short ride home, and will probably buy another pair for a trip to Greece in the fall. Suggestion for the company is to make more patterns, and also to make some with zero cushion and some with light cushion for different activities.

Great compression socks that keep me dry in summer through great wicking capability and at the same time keep me warm during winter. Also, they don't end up getting bunched up and slip down like other compression socks I've used.

Dealing with foot and calf cramping, the compression on these is perfect. They're not difficult to get on the way some compression socks can be. And they don't slip down. Great patterns, too!

I have varicose veins and find that compression socks help. Sadly, the level of compression in these socks is not enough for me. They are comfortable and have the classic Smartwool quality. Other than the lack of a higher compression level, I recommend these socks.

Love the colors & design! And the wool sock. But these are too small for my calves. Smartwool does not offer the size I really need. These went to my daughter.

I love these for my long runs, giving them four stars because they are a little short in the calf. I'm 5'9" so these may be better for someone with shorter legs. The compression also feels a little less than other brands advertising the same pressure range (20-30 mmHg).

These feel wonderful, imo they are moderate compression if that is what you are looking for. Love the look!
