Good shoes. Seems to be well built, comfortable. Like other reviewers have stated - the shoelaces are crap. Like trying to tie a bow with fishing line. My shoe size is 13 and my hands a XL as well. The laces are far too thin and slippery. Takes a few tries to get them laced tight enough. Then do it again in 10 minutes. Only owned the shoes 1 weeks and have already ordered new laces. Teva got 98 % of the shoe right only to fail on the part the wearer deals with every time. Get the shoes and get new laces!

Not one to usually leave reviews but I really like these shoes. Comfortable, well supported, very light, good tread, and breathable. Just went to Mexico for two weeks and they are the perfect travel shoe. The laces are a bit difficult to tie and untie (I'm fumble fingered) but I'm fine with them now and like the look of them. True to size as a 10 for me.

These were very comfortable right of the box. My feet are slightly wider than normal and there is plenty of room. They seem well built. Time will tell how long they last. My only minor complaint is that the laces are a bit slim and cheap. Definitely worth upgrading. Others have complained about the color. I think they need to check their monitor settings because the green looked just like the photo on Zappos' website.

I love how comfortable they are. When first putting them on, I thought they were a smidgeon to long. I was wearing thin socks. So I changed into reg socks and they are great! Not too narrow. Not too wide. Moderate arch support, but not flat and hard. They have just enough bounce. The only negative are the shoe strings. They’re nice, but they are very thin and slick. A thicker size of the same shoe strings would have been more appropriate. These are conservative enough without being loud/flashy. They are rugged enough while still being for daily use. Overall, these will be my everyday shoes. They look good with anything I wear.

I am very happy with these Teva Ellwood shoes. I ordered a half size larger than I ususally wear after reading other reviews on Zappos web site. Fit is great plenty of room for my toes.

I often have to order a half-size over my street shoe size when buyng athletic-type shoes, so I did this here... but I am returning these as they feel too big through the entire toe box, and hoping the "normal" size works"

Bought these for the purpose of light hiking, walking, traveling. I’m a die hard Merrill Moab fan as my baseline. These are Excellent overall. Wore daily on a three week Europe trip - comfortable, good support. Not ideal for any hiking more demanding than gravel. But not what I was looking for. A great light weight shoe. Stylish.

Purchased online in mid July 2025. Been wearing these about a month and so far I am generally pleased. The shoes are comfortable and fit well. I have walked perhaps 3 miles at most at one time thus far and my feet remained comfortable. I am removing one star because I have noticed at times that the cushioning feels a little off, or different, under each foot (different pressure points) but this has not been persistent/consistent. Might just be part of breaking them in. I recall in reviews before purchasing some people complaining about narrow laces. That is not an issue at all and I assume that Teva got the message and changed the laces out. Note that I typically wear a 10.5 or 11, even within different shoes of the same brand I might wear different sizes. I went with an 11 in the Teva and am glad I did. Snug where they need to be when I tighten the laces such that I haven't noticed any slipping within the shoe, plenty of room in the toe box.

The shoe seemed great, just not a good fit if you need a wide toe box.

These days it is rare that you can be comfortable in a new shoe right off the bat. I am pleased to say that is the case with this shoe. I am not thrilled with the support provided by the insert and I will probably replace the insert eventually.

The shoe is fine, like many of my Tevas, but I find the back cuts into the folds of my ankle skin. I haven't broke the pair in enough to feel comfortable wearing them more regularly. This problem, is for me, a big detraction. Why so high?

I have wide feet and prefer wide fittings where I can find them, but these fit me well even in regular width and are very comfortable.

Purchased for a trip that will involve a lot of walking. Pleased so far with comfort and support for shorter distances. Nice and lightweight. Price was great for the quality of the shoes. Very pleased!

Ok, so, I saw another review saying that the Dark Oliver was more of an army green than what they saw in the image, so I avoided that and went with the Dark Shadow. Well, apparently Teva needs a better photographer, because their white balance is WAY off. The shoe appears to be a slate/grey in the photos, but when they were delivered they were definitely BLUE. I can kinda see it in the images now that I know what the real color is, but someone should be fired over this misleading marketing in a world where purchases are done mostly online.
Other than that, I've only had the shoes for a few minutes, so I can't really review them honestly. 4 stars for now, and I'll see if I can edit this later if I hate them. But so far they feel comfy and the tread feels nice and aggressive and ready for some trails!

Tight and narrow. I like the look of the show but the fit was totally off.

These do a great job, just not the job I wanted them to do. I bought these because the heel looked thick and cushioned for my daily neighborhood walks. After a couple of those I determined these are good for running to the store, daily life stuff, but not a couple miles on pavement. Not enough cushion even with replacement insoles. Feels like I'm lumbering as if no energy is being returned to propel my next step. I walked through some grass and they feel better there, so I'm def taking them on my camping trip soon. The grip is awesome on paved and unpaved terrain.
That said, they are roomy without being oversized. I have flat feet so that is perfect - shoes marked "wide" are too wide and the roominess of these allows toe movement without having to wrench the laces down. The footbed wonderfully matches my particular feet. This is my second pair of Teva shoes and for that reason alone I'm confident I'll find my pair!
I thought about returning them for a pair of Geotecca (sp?) but sadly I ran into some wet concrete dust the first day so they are not in new condition.
