The fit is true to size, and is a very comfortable, casual walking shoe. It arrived with thin shoelaces, which I switched for something stronger. Overall, I recommend the shoe, but Teva could do better with the laces.

Nice product, but the shoelaces are terrible. When I attempt to untie them by pulling on an end it results in a knot 80% of the time. It's an easy fix I suppose, but the laces are trash.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I wore the first pair practically everyday, everywhere, for more than a year. The shoes held their shape very well and I decided to replace when the sole wore out and there was a noticeable wear on the collar (the part against the achilles tendon). I'll buy this one again.

This is my 3rd pair of these. Great for problem feet. The high density sole is amazing along with the heel cup.

Daily wear

Congratulations on producing a wonderful shoe that I do not use for hiking, but rather just a general everyday shoe. Also at times a walking shoe. The main reason I am writing this review is to let other flat footed people know this might be useful for them, although I have found that there is not one type of flat feet, this is perfect for mine.

The shoes are very comfortable and use them for various things. Walking, leisure ware and some small hikes. Recommend these shoes.

I bought these for everyday use. As I began to use them more and more, I didn't want to wear anything else. Recently, I took a trip out to the desert states for a hiking trip. In an effort to pack lightly, I chose to take only the shoes I traveled in, which were my Elwoods. It was the best decision I made.

I use them as both everyday shoes & at work

A pair of Teva's I'd had for over ten years finally wore out (wish I could remember the model name.) I checked the website, and the Ellwood was the closest I could find in style. While a touch heavier than my old stand-bys, they are extremely comfortable. I'd buy again and recommend them to family and friends.

Very good shoe for the price point; comfortable and fits true to size. Toe box is roomy and not restrictive. Durable and sheds dirt/water well. Will continue to look nice after wear. Good job Teva!

These shoes are perfect for city and trail. I'm very very pleased. I only wish they were waterproof.

Who would have known that a simple pair of hiking shoes could look so sexy on a man? My husband likes buying a lot of shoes. He likes them clean and new and so as I have stated he goes through a lot of different pairs. I am honestly thinking that this pair of shoes is going to last him a LONG TIME because they are built wonderfully. They are comfortable for him which is a must but they are also built tough. He needs shoes like this vs. all of the little cloud-y weak "comfy" sports shoes that companies press out these days. His other shoes wear out SO FAST because he just simply never stops and so I already know that I will be "SOLEY" (haha!) BUYING THIS PAIR OF SHOES FOR HIM. They are fantastic ALL AROUND and he states that people everywhere look at his shoes. LOL. He is hot and so now it's all over the top. PS he deals with a lot of pain from the lower back down from combat injuries and all of the orthopedic shoes in the world do nothing but more damage. Just right.

Had 'em a year. (maybe more? I don't know) They've been through the wringer and are still super comfortable. Great for city walking. I have wide feet and they were comfortable out of the box.

Really good looking activity shoe that stands out is a sea of look-alikes. Sturdy and comfortable.

My husband purchased these as his winter casual work shoes. He loves the look and the comfort.

I was ordering shoes for myself and saw these in a picture on the home page. My husband is not a big guy but has a narrow heel and wide toe bed and has a hard time finding nice shoes that don't cram his toes. I thought these would look nice for casual wear and for his business casual meetings where we either wears jeans or khakis and a nice shirt. It was a perfect find! They look great, they thinks they feel great, and while it would have been nice if they had a wide option, they do run true to size. He decided to keep his surprise and will now have a nice pair of shoes to wear for his business trips where he has to do a lot of walking!
