Would have been a great pair of shoes, but the material that touches the back of your ankle starts to wear away after only 3 months of use.

The fit is true to size, and is a very comfortable, casual walking shoe. It arrived with thin shoelaces, which I switched for something stronger. Overall, I recommend the shoe, but Teva could do better with the laces.

Nice product, but the shoelaces are terrible. When I attempt to untie them by pulling on an end it results in a knot 80% of the time. It's an easy fix I suppose, but the laces are trash.

A pair of Teva's I'd had for over ten years finally wore out (wish I could remember the model name.) I checked the website, and the Ellwood was the closest I could find in style. While a touch heavier than my old stand-bys, they are extremely comfortable. I'd buy again and recommend them to family and friends.

Very good shoe for the price point; comfortable and fits true to size. Toe box is roomy and not restrictive. Durable and sheds dirt/water well. Will continue to look nice after wear. Good job Teva!

These shoes are perfect for city and trail. I'm very very pleased. I only wish they were waterproof.

Who would have known that a simple pair of hiking shoes could look so sexy on a man? My husband likes buying a lot of shoes. He likes them clean and new and so as I have stated he goes through a lot of different pairs. I am honestly thinking that this pair of shoes is going to last him a LONG TIME because they are built wonderfully. They are comfortable for him which is a must but they are also built tough. He needs shoes like this vs. all of the little cloud-y weak "comfy" sports shoes that companies press out these days. His other shoes wear out SO FAST because he just simply never stops and so I already know that I will be "SOLEY" (haha!) BUYING THIS PAIR OF SHOES FOR HIM. They are fantastic ALL AROUND and he states that people everywhere look at his shoes. LOL. He is hot and so now it's all over the top. PS he deals with a lot of pain from the lower back down from combat injuries and all of the orthopedic shoes in the world do nothing but more damage. I swear to god that these shoes are sent by the angels. THANK YOU AND AMEN TEVA. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND BUY YOUR HOTTT HUSBANDS THESE SHOES!! TRUE TO SIZE AND SEARCH NO FURTHER. PERIOD

Had 'em a year. (maybe more? I don't know) They've been through the wringer and are still super comfortable. Great for city walking. I have wide feet and they were comfortable out of the box.

I was ordering shoes for myself and saw these in a picture on the home page. My husband is not a big guy but has a narrow heel and wide toe bed and has a hard time finding nice shoes that don't cram his toes. I thought these would look nice for casual wear and for his business casual meetings where we either wears jeans or khakis and a nice shirt. It was a perfect find! They look great, they thinks they feel great, and while it would have been nice if they had a wide option, they do run true to size. He decided to keep his surprise and will now have a nice pair of shoes to wear for his business trips where he has to do a lot of walking!

Good shoes. Seems to be well built, comfortable. Like other reviewers have stated - the shoelaces are crap. Like trying to tie a bow with fishing line. My shoe size is 13 and my hands a XL as well. The laces are far too thin and slippery. Takes a few tries to get them laced tight enough. Then do it again in 10 minutes. Only owned the shoes 1 weeks and have already ordered new laces. Teva got 98 % of the shoe right only to fail on the part the wearer deals with every time. Get the shoes and get new laces!

Not one to usually leave reviews but I really like these shoes. Comfortable, well supported, very light, good tread, and breathable. Just went to Mexico for two weeks and they are the perfect travel shoe. The laces are a bit difficult to tie and untie (I'm fumble fingered) but I'm fine with them now and like the look of them. True to size as a 10 for me.

These were very comfortable right of the box. My feet are slightly wider than normal and there is plenty of room. They seem well built. Time will tell how long they last. My only minor complaint is that the laces are a bit slim and cheap. Definitely worth upgrading. Others have complained about the color. I think they need to check their monitor settings because the green looked just like the photo on Zappos' website.

I love how comfortable they are. When first putting them on, I thought they were a smidgeon to long. I was wearing thin socks. So I changed into reg socks and they are great! Not too narrow. Not too wide. Moderate arch support, but not flat and hard. They have just enough bounce. The only negative are the shoe strings. They’re nice, but they are very thin and slick. A thicker size of the same shoe strings would have been more appropriate. These are conservative enough without being loud/flashy. They are rugged enough while still being for daily use. Overall, these will be my everyday shoes. They look good with anything I wear.

I am very happy with these Teva Ellwood shoes. I ordered a half size larger than I ususally wear after reading other reviews on Zappos web site. Fit is great plenty of room for my toes.

The shoe seemed great, just not a good fit if you need a wide toe box.

These days it is rare that you can be comfortable in a new shoe right off the bat. I am pleased to say that is the case with this shoe. I am not thrilled with the support provided by the insert and I will probably replace the insert eventually.
