I have been wearing Teva Hurricane XLT2 sandals since I was 25 y.o. and a whitewater river rafting guide for Friends of the River in California. They stay on! They are comfortable! They are attractive.

Bought a pair of Teva sandals several years ago. Best sandals ever! But a strap broke away from the sole. When I went back to website they were nowhere to be found. So I bought a pair of llbean sandals. Just plain awful, unwearable! So much for high quality and great return policy. Turned me off to Bean forever. Now I see a very similar sandal on your website, did Teva fix the flaw?

Bought these for a recent two week trip to Thailand in which I wore them maybe 3 or 4 times, in which the sole already has some damage, so it makes me question how much these will actually last. Comfortable but had a strong chemical smell coming out of the package as well.

Love the sandals but the glue holding the soles on isn't durable. I consistently find that I have to re-glue them after about 6 months because the soles start to separate long before the tread has worn out. Otherwise comfy, springy so easy on the feet, all weather sandals (except for glue on the soles).

Fit, finish, quality are all excellent. If they were not so pricey, I'd order more.

I use the product in summer, and it goes on trips to caribbean as a (previously) trusted partner. From now on I'll have to have a backup and I'm looking at other companies products. My wife and I had used this model for something like 20 years. Now the quality seems to have degraded. I bought a pair of these in Fall of 21, and all seemed well until the sole started to seperate in Belize this year. This mimicked the same issue my wife had, and that others seem to have. In fact, I'd already purchased a new version of these after seeing holes in sole. The sole had started to wear (showing pockets underneath) out it seems it's not solid and the lugs are merely bubbles. Another great product reduced to mediocrity due to cost cutting. I always bought size 12, my regular shoe size is 11.5, but a little extra length helps protect feet and keep sand out of toes.

I love this shoe. Everything I have done in them so far was a pleasant experience. They are well made and seem ready to take some punishment or just be a comfortable casual sandal. I would easily give these five stars, except I have not had them long enough to determine wear and tear. They seem like they are going to earn the five stars however.

Cool sandals. The design is very cool in person and the quality is great. Good arch/footbed support as well. I wear a 12 in nearly every brand but returned these for a size 11.

I was a bit skeptical on these for me at first bc i don't usually wear open toe sandals. But once I got the right size fit, I fell in love w them!! I think they run pretty small bc I wear a size 10 shoe but fit a size 8 Teva. Great for hiking, beaching, walking, anything really!!

These sandals are comfortable, durable, and stylish. The only reason I've had to replace them is due to losing them. I've hiked, swam, jogged, biked, and they've held up to daily summer use. The footbed is very comfortable and hasn't worn down with use over several years of ownership. They tend to run slightly large compared to other major brands of footwear, but this hasn't caused discomfort. I like the fit to be a little larger than what you see models wearing in the product photos (in order to keep tips of toes from bumping into things/collecting dirt).

They are comfortable once I get the straps adjusted, but to remove the shoe requires opening an adjustable strap, rather than have a connect/disconnect so the fit will be as I want next time I wear them. Would not purchase again.

Love the quality, the styling, the arch support, but they immediately hurt my bunion. I tried adjusting the straps but they just kept hitting in the wrong place.

I have been very happy with my decades-old pair of Terradactyls, which I still wear in the yard despite one sole worn completely off. I was very unhappy with my more recent Terra Fi 5 Universals, on which the polyester liner wore through at the forefoot and gave me blisters, and then a rear strap became completely detached from the midsole, both before any appreciable wear on the soles. So Teva is fifty-fifty so far. This will be the tiebreaker: Teva's last chance to convince me it still wants to (and knows how to) design and make durable sandals.

I just expected the straps to look more like lizard or snakeskin based on the model pictures.

Ordered normal size but ended up smaller than expected, return is a hassel so will be gifting to a family member, as they're great shoes but just not my size.

Was so looking forward to using these and I have seen them everywhere and read so many great reviews. Unfortunately just didn't work well for me. Used them to walk around some light trails and my plantar fasciiitis acted up with pain in the sole of the foot.
