Fun color straps. Typically an 8 - 81/2 AA /AAA/4A. The wide foot bed of this sandal made it look like I was wearing a clown shoe. Although the straps are adjustable the wide foot bed & long strap length hang off the shoe which makes it a sloppy fit. Not suitable for a narrow feet.

I go kayaking quite a bit and often have to carry my kayak down steepish embankments/trails to get to the water. I was looking for a good sandal for both the approach and on the water. I wanted a quick easy Velcro adjustment so that I could easily wear my neoprene socks with them in cooler weather. When I saw this new style I decided to take a chance and ordered a black pair. I fell in love with them the second I put them on my feet. They have the cushion and a bit of arch support that the hurricanes lack. And they are more sturdy and better colors than the universal trail (women's). They are comfortable right out of the box. No issues with them rubbing anywhere. Also, they have amazingly grippy rubber on the sole. Perfect for navigating wet rocks. I am thinking of getting another pair in a different color. Please Teva, keep making these.

I just received these and I'm in love with them already. I can't wait to take these on my next trip. The well-placed strap padding nestles every corner of the foot, and the sole feels soft yet sturdy. There's enough traction for an hike, but they are also stylish enough for city wear. Awesome sandal.

Love my new Teva's! This sandal is perfect for walking my 2 dogs. I'm 64 and have needed the support of a tennis shoe when taking long walks. These sandals have great support, super comfortable and I love the padding on the straps! No worry of getting blisters!

Im new to Teva , resistant to getting them due to lack of style .but omg! I am a believer now. Went to Hawaii , hiking Volcano National Park, immediately comfortable supportive, no "break in" time required. Went swimming/snorkeling did not slip once on rocks, grippy, dried quickly.. I wore them my entire trip! So comfortably!!! I'm normally 8.5, got both.. 8 fits perfectly

These sandals performed PERFECTLY in Hawaii. Comfortable for the beach, 2 mile uphill hikes, trekking through water, going out to eat..absolutely performed wonderfully. I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to brag on the performance of these. Thanks for producing a quality sandal.

Very comfortable. Enough sole width and velcro strap to fasten over my wide arthritic foot. I take our Lab swimming at an algae coated boat ramp and have has less slippage with these. I like the additional padding at the beginning of each strap for cushioning and protection.

I really enjoy these shoes and the versatility of them. I can wear them on the boat or just out and about. They run big so I would order a size down. I'm a size 8.5 usually and had to get a 7. They also look very bulky on the feet.

Why are the neoprene liners under the straps not fully sewn in? So if you put your foot in they double over and fold, so you have to reach in the make them each flat. At least two of them. This makes no sense to me...just why this extra work on our end every time you put them on? This is the only reason i am thinking about sending them back....

I wore these to the outdoor waterpark and they worked great! The shoes were easy to slip on, comfortable and had grip to avoid slipping in wet areas. I was impressed at how comfortable they were, also the fit was spot on.

I absolutely love these sandals. They are so comfortable that I've panicked and thought I forgot to put my shoes on. These are my first pair of tevas, but definitely not going to be my last! All the straps are adjustable and the padding on the joints feels so nice. AMAZING ARCH SUPPORT! Seriously, they are 1000% worth the money.

I used them today at the playground with my kids. We climb some stuff and the sandals had really good grip and molded to the movement of my feet. Weather is hot and humid and my feet were no slippery like other sandals get.

The flexible and non-slip sole sold me to try these. I bought the tiger lily color and I love them! I'm a size 7 to 7.5. I bought the 7 and it fit perfectly. I have a pair of teva universal midsole and I like them but I don't love them. My toes are near the end and to me not being able to adjust the heel made them hard to fit. These hydraterek sandals adjust at the heel and I actually have room in front of toes and width lets toes splay so much better. You can't go wrong with these. I am going to purchase other colors.

I am a city dweller who wanted a good walking sandal with support. I like the extra padding on the heals and on either side of the front straps. I have not had any blistering while walking. Since I do walk in all weather the tread is important. The only reason I have four stars is because I sometimes have to adjust the ankle straps. I cannot verify using them in water. I wish there were more colors...but modern amd no logos. City walker loves these newer, sturdier and comfortable sandals.

The fit and size was close to being ok. Probably the lack more defined curvature in the foot bed gave it a larger feel. The Velcro straps were a little too long. The top strap has a sharp hard nylon anterior edge that irritates the skin of the top of my foot. Nope. Not going to wear these. Off they to return center. I like the Teva Hydratrek Sandal CT

As a very loyal Teva fan and avid kayaker I was excited to see Teva created a sandal that was specifically designed for the water. However, I am disappointed. I would strongly advise anyone who is in the water for long periods of time and in any sort of mud to not purchase these shoes. I wore my pair for the first time today while kayaking. Overall, the weather was great and mud was nothing major. Yet the straps were covered in mud and would not come out. I had to heavily scrub them after my kayaking trip with dish soap and they are still spotty. These shoes are certainly designed and hold up well in water, but I would advise not wearing them for any sort of rugged water wear unless you want to have stains all over the straps.

I received these shoes in April of 2024, and by July 2024 my all black Hydratrek sandals have turned brown along the straps. I contacted customer support to see if they could be replaced with the warranty, and they told me that discoloration is to be expected and they would not be accepted for warranty. I wish I had the ability to attach a photo with this review, because the color change is drastic and hard to imagine without seeing .

Love my new Tevas! Haven't bought Teva sandles for about 9 years. The quality is equal to the pair I bought 9 years ago. I think they run a little small. I wear 9.5 so I got a 10 and it's perfect. My previous 2 pairs seemed a bit small.

I will use the Sandals entering and exiting our boat in warm ocean water in Costa Rica. My last pair split the soles from that. I hope that doesn't happen with the new pair. They are comfortable.

I have tried multiple sandals like these and they've never been 100% the best. I wore chacos for awhile, but the footbed, no matter the style, would kill me and give me blister in hot weather when walking all day. I picked these up last May 2025 after some research and trying on several Teva styles. I returned a few other popular styles I tried on and kept these. I kept these because the padding around the back and front parts is SO nice compared to their standard Hurricane styles. I needed a pair for when I go on vacation at Disney World (long walking days in the heat) and normal summers including hiking, kayaking, and just normal errands. These Hydratrek sandals? AMAZING! I hope Teva never discontinues them. I wore them at Disney World sunup to sundown for a week and for the first time ever, had zero blisters. They are also very lightweight compared to my Chacos and feel like you are walking on clouds. They also do well in water as well, clean up easily, and are also true to size. I have slightly wider feet so narrow foot people might not enjoy them as much, but for me not to have to purchase wides and them be comfy? 10/10. My only hope is they come out with more fun colors! I want more of these in my closet!

I think it runs a full Size. Usually take a 8.5 or 9 and had to return for an 8. Haven’t had a pair of teevas in years and these are so much more comfortable than chacos or the old teevas.

Foot protection is needed for wet and dry landings and when walking trails on Galapagos islands. When comparing two styles of Teva sandals, more toe and foot protection of the other style will be better for this nature exploration vacation.
